Evan hummed quietly from where he sat on his bed, head rested against what had been Connor's shoulder but was now Connor's BackPack. A moment ago, the two boys had been quietly doing their homework. However, the moment Connor heard a chirp from the closet, he had rushed over there.

"I already told you, Connor, it's just an old toy from when I was a kid- that whole closet's full of stuff like that." Evan continued to jot down answers on the homework he had on a tree-themed clipboard in front of him.

"Is it alive? Why the hell is it chirping?" Connor scoffed.

"Connor, I'm not going to keep something alive in my closet."

"Who's to say?" Connor shrugged before gasping when he felt something move, "sHIT!"

"wHAT?" Evan leapt back as Connor scrambled beside him, whatever had touched him going flying.

The two boys stared with wide eyes before Evan's gaze focused on a twitching Furby, chirping as it twitched its ears happily. He sighed in relief, "G-good lord, Connor, i-it's just a Furby."

Connor made a hissing noise, glaring at the object, "I'm gonna' kick it."

"cONNER NO!" Evan leapt up but his significant other was faster and kicked the object back into the closet, sending a box falling out of the closet, something tan scattering the floor, "Christ!" Evan gasped at the mess and the Furby that gave a dying chirp before shutting up. (Rip Furboi, 20??-2019)

"The'ell is this?" Connor began to advance towards the tan cloth before Evan raced in front of him and snatched it.

"N-Nothing!" Evan squeaked, hiding whatever it was behind his back.

Connor frowned and put his hands on his hips, "Evan. What is it?"

"It's really n-nothing..." Evan cleared his throat, backing up.

Connor leaned forward, "Evan Hansen, you're not hiding something from your boyfriend are you?" He cocked an eyebrow.

Evan's face went red

Connor was well aware of how flustered Evan became when he called him his boyfriend, it was a known thing of course to them but could send Evan swooning with the reminder.

This weakened Evan for a moment while he smiled, allowing Connor to reach behind him and snatch what he was holding.

"Connor Murphy!" Evan squeaked in protest as Connor held it up, looking at it.

Connor gapped as he saw the perfectly ironed, though only slightly wrinkled from the tumble, Boy Scout Uniform in his hands, "Holy crud, Ev."

Evan covered his face with his hands in an attempt to hide how red it was.

"You're a scout? Why didn't I know this?" Connor was beaming as he inspected the uniform, admiring it.

"Because a., i-it's really dorky," Evan stuttered.

"Evan, I'm dating a dork, I'm used to this." Connor smirked.

"A-and b. I was a scout- I made it to Eagle Scout and-"

"Eagle Scout?" Connor's eyes widened.

"Y-you know the ranks?" Evan smiled warmly, making Connor's eyes squint with adoration before shaking his heads

"No, not at all, I just know that that's like...really good."

"Mhm." Evan nodded, "I'm too old for it now though, an-"

"Does it fit?" Connor cocked an eyebrow.

Evan choked a bit, "Wh- what?"

"Does it still fit you?" Connie repeated.

"I mean- it should, but-"

Connor chucked it at Evan.

"Careful!" Evan whispered.

"Put it on." Connor nodded.

"Th-that's blunt." Evan swallowed nervously.

"Fine, please wear it? I wanna' see how cute you look in it." Connor grinned.

Evan felt like melting, and probably wouldn't mind that right about now.

"Come on, twig, please?" Connor clasped his hands together in a sarcastic plea.

Evan chewed on the inside d his cheek as he contemplated this before he finally sighed and turned towards the door of his room, "Fine, I'll be right back."

"You can change here-"

"Don't push it." Evan cast a flustered glare back at Connor before exiting.

Connor scrolled on his phone, continuing through Tumblr as he still awaited Evan's return.
It was a solid six minutes before Connor heard a knock on the door and immediately chucked his phone, looking up.

"J-just don't laugh." Evan murmured.

"No promises."

"Connor!"

"Fine, fine, I won't laugh." Connor rolled his eyes with a smirk.

The door creaked open and Evan stepped, dressed in a tan collared-button-up-shirt, dark green sash with an assortment of badges, a lot having trees on them, a dark green cap, with matching pants and a dark brown belt with the Scout logo on it and finally a yellow and blue neckerchief.

Connor clasped a hand over his mouth as Evan awkwardly stood there, shutting the door behind him.

"So..?" Evan ambled forward expectantly.

"Words can't describe how absolutely gay I am for you right now." Connor stood up.

Evan's freckles were red at this point, "Yeah?"

"Shit, Ev." Connor walked over to him and pulled him into an embrace.

Evan chuckled, "I'm the dork?"

"Shut up." Connor scoffed, "You look absolutely, positively, fantastically adorable."

Evan let out a squeaky breath, "O-oh, o-okay."

Connor pressed a gentle kiss to the shorter boy's head, "You're getting back into scouting right now, I don't care how old you are."

"Connor there are rules-"

"Evan who cares."

"O-okay."
