So im assuming most of you have probably already heard about it, but the new trailer for the sonic movie dropped a few days ago

And it loOKS REALLY GOOD ACTUALLY

Like it genuinely looks like a funny movie

And

MOST IMPORTANTLY

THEY FIXED THE BOY

SONIC LOOKS GOOD NOW

I actually like the redesign a lot, hes so fluffy and cute

And just from comparing the old and new trailer, it looks like they completely reanimated him as well. They didnt just paste a new model over the old animations, they actually redid him entirely and it looks great. Huge kudos to the animators for being so timecrunched and probably underpayed and still managing to bring the boy to life in a good light

But of course, when i see something fluffy and cute i am legally obligated to draw it, so here you go my children. Sustain yourselves for i have delivered.

Maybe its just cuz im a furry but he just looks so fucking cute and precious and i love him. He looks like a stuffed animal i wanna hug him

Anyways, art rambly time

I decided to leave the sketch in the finished picture, its a bit faint but its there. I dont really know why actually, i think it just looks cool

And i did a sorta sketchy lineart style where all the fur is a bunch of lines and stuff, and i think it turned out pretty nice with the colored lineart. It kinda looks painted in a way

Im excited for this movie, hopefully i can see it in theaters with sora when it comes out. Im not waiting for any dvd bullshit i wanna see my blue boi on the big screen
