Okay, now onto the good stuff-

Citrine's gem is shard-like in her back because of an incident when she was young.

The ORIGINAL citrine gem was battling a monster/mutated gem and trying to protect a young orphan girl who had run away into some woods (whose human name shall not be disclosed) at the same time. The young girl had been accidentally been caught up in the action. OG Citrine managed to defeat the giant mutant but at the cost of their gem shattering. As the young girl behind her cowered in fear, her back towards the explosion, shrapnel from Citrines gem impaled her in the back, digging into her spine and fusing her DNA with that of the gem. Remove the gem, and she would die but at the same time, kill the girl, and the gem couldn't be by itself at the threat of it becoming a monster. So they (?) are almost like a forced fusion turned co-dependant relationship.

Her weapon is (THIS IS MY FAVOURITE THING OMF)

A bow (as seen above) which is made of crystal. She pulls arrows out of her gam in her back like a quiver.
