Maki Nishikino's POV

I didn't really expect that we'll win that competition but I'm glad. I guess our song is the very best among the sub-units. It's not like I'm boasting or anything..

It was already late in the afternoon and the only ones inside our clubroom right now are me and Nico-chan. Neither of us is talking or making a noise. I stared at Nico-chan and noticed that she's pretty as usual. I unconsciously stood up from my seat and all of a sudden, I gave her a small kiss on her cheek. She got surprised at what I did but smiled.

"Maki-chan, those lyrics that you made for our song, is it based on your feelings for me?" Nico-chan asked me. I felt my cheeks burn up when she asked me that. I quickly averted my gaze and said, "W-wh-what a-are you saying, Nico-chan? O-of course that wasn't based on my f-feelings.."

"Maki-chan, you're lying."

"N-no, I'm n-not.."

I didn't hear her stand up since I'm blushing too hard. I gasped when she pushed me against the table. Our faces is only inches away from each other. I can feel Nico-chan's chest brushing against mine and my heart is pounding so loudly.

My amethyst eyes and her ruby ones locked on each other. Those ruby eyes of hers is so full of emotions. Nico-chan's face came closer to mine and soon our lips met. I closed my eyes and I put my hands on her nape. The kiss went deeper and passionately. I immediately pulled away when I heard someone pass by the door of the clubroom.

"N-Nico-chan, w-we need to stop. Someone might catch us kissing each other." I panted. I was still trying to catch my breath because of the intense kiss from earlier. I saw Nico-chan pout and I let out a little chuckle. I pinched her cheeks and then went to get my bag.

"Come on, Nico-chan. Let's go home together."

She blushed and I smiled. I grabbed my bag and opened the door. I stepped outside and waited for Nico-chan.

Nico-chan held my hand the moment she closed the door behind her. I blushed as we started walking.

"Hey, Maki-chan, want to grab something to eat?" Nico-chan asked all of a sudden. I started thinking if I have important things to do.

I gave her a small smile and said, "Sure, I don't have anything to do anyways."

Nico-chan grinned at me and grabbed my hand. She then started dragging towards a small shop. When I looked at the sign, I can't help but smile to myself.

We went inside and ordered some food. The waitress said it will take a while before our order will arrive.

I yawned a little and Nico-chan noticed it. She touched my hand and made me look at her.

"You sleepy, Maki-chan?" She asked. I only nodded. I closed my eyes for a bit and heard Nico-chan stand up and sat beside me.

I let out a sigh then leaned on Nico-chan's side. I don't care if other people sees us. I'm here with Nico-chan and that's what important right now.

The food that we ordered arrived after a few minutes. We chatted while eating. Every word that came out of Nico-chan's mouth makes me happy. I just wish this lasts forever.
