I made this cover for another brilliant writer Allison Jae who goes by the profile name Spark187 she is an amazing writer who is really dedicated to her research. You really get a sense of being taken back to the 1920's when this story is told about a woman searching for her independence and trying to create a new life for herself. 

I offered to make the cover for her. Showing the main character Zorell Dupree (Great Name right? I know I love it too!) Thankfully she accepted : )

Story Summary:

Takes place in the 1920s

The story Zorell Dupree, a young twenty year old nurse who moves to the city working for a prestigious hospital, is a small time girl thrown into the fast-paced world of the city. Her childhood friend Leland Freeman learns of her appointment and asks for her help. The woman he loves is a patient there and he asks that she look after her. The two women become friends and Shanee Lavene, her newfound friend plays matchmaker with her old time friend Gavin Lorio. Thinking that Zorell is working much too hard she asks Gavin the take her out and show her a good time.
