Winny sat in her college class, her laptop opened up in front of her. She was currently talking to three of her friends back in Indiana instead of taking notes like she should've been, but she listened as she typed her response to her friend. Out of the corner of her eye she saw someone sit down next to her which was near the back of class. Winny didn't really have that many friends in New York, and from what she saw, it wasn't any one she knew. It was a boy, looking to be her age. He had fluffy brown hair, looking like he had just taken a thin layer of gel and ran his hand through his hair. He had brown eyes and he was wearing a simple gray hooded jacket, black shirt, jeans, and Jordan's. A back pack rested into between the two of them.

Winny had never really noticed him in class before, in fact she never noticed any one in her class.

"So, uh, what has he been saying? I just walked in." The boy next Winny had moved the back pack and was closer to her. He was looking at her expecting for her to answer his whispers question. Winny's mind blanked, she never really got a good look at his face until he had moved over next to her. He was attractive.

"Uh, um, Math stuff?" Winny whispered.

"This is History though." The boy smiled.

"Oh, is it? M-my bad. Uh, hold on, lemme think for a second." Winny closed her eyes and put her head in her hands. After a few seconds she reopened them and took a deep breath.

"We were going over the American Revolution, to make sure we knew everything," Winny said. The teenager nodded and looked back to the front of the class.

"I'm Peter by the way." He said after a few moments of silence between them. Winny looked over at him and gave a small smile.

"Winny." Peter smiled, and kinda edged a little bit closer. Peter glanced at her computer screen.

"Who's BremusBrupin, GangsterCaptianAmerica, and ImTonyStarkFearMe?" Peter asked seeing the computer screen.

"Uh, my friends, from Indiana, where I'm really from." Winny answered.

"Cool." Peter smiled.

After what seemed like five hours but was probably just an hour or so, the Professor started to close the class.

"Alright class, we're going to have a project!" The class groaned.

"Hey now, you get to choose the partners this time." The professor said. Winny groaned mentally.

"Don't go about finding a partner yet, wait to see what it's about." The professor continued his speech about what the project is going to be on and when it was due. While she listened, Winny started to look for a potential partner.

"Is that all clear?" The Professor said. Everyone nodded and muttered a, 'Yep' 'Understood' or 'Got it'. The Professor nodded.

"Good, class dismissed." That's when everyone started to look for a partner. Winny had found no one except for Peter.

"Hey, Peter, would you mind doing the project with me? I don't have a partner." Winny said closing her laptop, standing up and, hugging her laptop close to her. "I know we just met and stuff but would you mind?"

"Sure," Peter said slinging his bag over his shoulder.

"What? O-okay, great! When do you wanna meet up?"

"After school, I'll meet you outside this classroom." Winny nodded.

"Okie Dokie then." Winny then left the classroom, feeling more ecstatic about having a partner than usual since usually she'd be forced to pair with someone she didn't really get along with. Winny started toward her next class, hiding her smile behind her laptop.

Winny stood outside of the History Class, waiting for Peter, she had her headphones on and was currently listening to some Dubstep. Winny kicked at the ground, her hands in her pockets. Winny felt something tap her shoulder and she looked up to see Peter, she took off her headphones. You could hear the music from the headphones still.

"You wanna go to my house?" Peter asked.

"Sure, lemme call my Stepmom." Winny turned off her music and pulled out her phone, calling Beatrice.

"Hey hon, I finally moved the dining table so you won't knock it over again." Beatrice said upon answering the phone.

"Beatrice,"

"I'm kidding, I'm too lazy to move furniture. So what's up, how're you doing?"

"I'm fine thank you, anyway, I'm going over to a friend's house for a school project." Winny said.

"What kind of school project?"

"History project,"

"Who's your friend?" Beatrice asked.

"Oh my God, I'm not a criminal, and you're not an investigator. Look, his name is Peter and I'm going over to his house for a while to do the project, I'll be home around six." Winny said.

"Alright, I'll tell your dad, have fun." Beatrice said.

"Thank you, bye."

"Bye." Winny hung up and looked up at Peter. She wasn't as tall as him but he wasn't that tall either, but she was only around 5'5, she doesn't really keep track of how tall she is.

"So, you coming?" Peter asked. Winny nodded.

"Yeah, I'm coming. You take the bus or do you walk?" Peter seemed to hesitate.

"I take the bus." He finally said.

"Cool," Winny then led the way to the bus stop. She had started her music up again and but her headphones still hung around her neck so she was able to talk to Peter if needed.

"So, how long have you been in New York?" Peter asked.

"This Hell Hole? I've been here for two years, and I hate it with all my soul." Winny said.

"Why do hate New York?"

"Well, one, I miss Indiana, I really do, most of my friends are over there. Two, it's too noisy here, and the crime rate is awful."

"Well, the crime rate has dropped since Spider-Man came to town." Winny rolled her eyes.

"Yeah, I guess."

"Do you not like Spider-Man?" Peter asked once the bus came, Winny turned off her music and took a seat, Peter sitting next to her.

"No, it's not that, it's just, my brother Brian, thinks I'm in love with Spider-Man because I once started to look him up all over the Internet because I wanted to know more about him. I want to know about the dude that might save my ass one day."

"Well, uh, I have no response to that." Peter said. Winny let out a laugh at Peter's comment as she took off her head phones.

"Those are really cool by the way."

"Thanks, I got them for my birthday this year." Winny said smiling.

"Cool, when's your birthday?"

"January Nineteenth." Peter smiled.

"Cool." Winny smiled back. It got silent and Winny's eyes were started to droop. Unknowingly her head rested upon Peter's shoulder and she had fallen asleep. Peter didn't do anything, just smiled and waited for the bus to stop somewhat near his house. After about fifteen minutes the bus came near Peter's house and he poked Winny awake.

"C'mon we're near my house." Peter said, Winny got up, Peter helping her out of the bus. They stood on the sidewalk watching the bus go. Winny looked at Peter's jacket and groaned.

"I'm so sorry," she said.

"Why're you sorry?" Peter asked.

"Because I drooled on you. I drool when I sleep, I'm sorry." Peter looked at his jacket sleeve, seeing the small spot of drool.

"It's fine." He said. Winny smiled, grateful that he didn't make fun of her for drooling like a baby. Peter started to lead the way down the sidewalk, Winny standing beside him.
