I know it's not a lot compared to other stories but for me it's a lot so thank you! <3

  The girls were in a hurry this morning. It's was only 7:30 am and there was already complete mess in their house. Leaf was already ready by this time since she woke up at 6 all she had to do was wait and eat some chocolate cookie dough ice cream. May had just gotten out of the shower and was currently trying to blow dry her hair and eat a chocolate muffin. Misty didn't bother to shower in the morning since she takes her showers at night and was trying to figure out how to fix the birds nest on her head. Serena was making breakfast for herself which was a lightly toasted piece of bread with peaches and cream on the top. And Dawn was still sound asleep with only 30 minutes to spare before school starts.

   " AAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!" "Did you guys hear that?" Serena asked. "Sure did." Misty replied. Dawn came crashing down the stairs in her uniform and sporting a messy hair look that she did not intend for and snatched the ice cream from Leaf and started gobbling it down. " Jeez! You didn't have to snatch it!" Leaf yelled. "I DON'T CARE!" Dawn screamed back. " I suggest we leave her alone." Serena whispered. "Yeah." May whispered back. The girls all made it out of the door wearing the same uniforms and into the car on time as Caroline and Max waved goodbye.

   When they arrived at school they rushed out of the car and ran to their first class. It was now lunch time and most students rushed to drama class for tryouts. "Alright everyone, I want everybody to line up backstage and one at a time come when I call who is next." Ms. Ketchum stated.

   "Is Sharpay really, really mad at me? I said I was sorry." May spoke some of the lines. "That was great! Now can you please sing a song?" Ms. Ketchum asked eagerly. " Sure ahem  . . . It's hard to believe that I couldn't see, that you were always right beside me -" May started. "STOP! That was incredible! NEXT!" Ms. Delia called.

   "But seriously, you have an amazing voice. You're a singer right?" Drew said one line "AMAZING!" Ms. Ketchum said. "Yeah, me too. I mean, not your mom. My mom... and dad. Uh... I'll call you. I'll call you tomorrow." Gary read his line. "Great!" Ms. Ketchum said. "I guess I better go find my mom and wish her a happy new year." Dawn spoke her lines. "BRILLIANT!" Ms. Ketchum said amazed. "The ice princess returned from the North Pole." Ash said reading his line. "Amazing sweetheart!" Ms. Ketchum said proud of her son. "Our scholastic decathlon team has it's first competition next week, and there is certainly a spot for you." Misty read off her paper. "Just Great!" Ms. Ketchum said. "Troy, they have a kids party downstairs in the Freestyle club." Leaf spoke. "Excellent!" exclaimed Ms. Ketchum. "Wow! An Einsteinette. So why do you think she's interested in our musical?" Barry read his line. "Hey, so, um, the whole team's hitting the gym during free period. What do you want to have us run?" Rudy said his lines. "No, ma'am. That was the warning bell." Serena spoke her line.

   "YOU ALL WERE INCREDIBLE! I will post the roles on the poster board after school. I will see you all tomorrow to practice for the play for the first time. Now everyone go to your next class!" Ms. Ketchum stated. Once said the students raced to their next class.

*Time skip to after school by poster board *

"I wonder what role I'll end up with." Serena sounded worried. "Serena, chill. Your most likely not going to get a leading role so don't worry about too much attention being put on you." May stated. Serena breathed a sigh of relief. "Hmm look who else is here Ms. bandana banana, Ms. I'm single so date me, Ms. too shy for her own good, Ms. ugly orange head, and Ms.  . .woah haha someone doesn't brush their hair!" Barry said laughing as well as his friends Ash, Drew, Rudy, and Gary who found his joke funny. "How rude of you! Take that back!" Dawn yelled at the blonde. "Mmmm . . . no." Barry said simply. "I AM NOT UGLY!" Misty screamed. "Really just look in the mirror." Rudy said clearly not minding Misty's anger. " The village called. They'd like their idiots back. You better get going." Serena said fed up with them. The boys looked surprised by the usual shy girl's comeback.

Ms. Ketchum finally arrived interrupting the chaos and posted up the results for the roles of the play. "Yes! I got Gabriella!"  exclaimed May. "I knew I would get Troy." Drew stated. "What?! Then who did I get?!" Gary said confused. "Hahaha Coach Bolton! Hahahahaha!" Ash laughed. "UGH!" Gary stomped away. "Oh yay! I got Kelsi" Serena said glad. "I got Taylor and Dawn it looks like you got Sharpay and Leaf got Mrs. Bolton." Misty stated. "Well I'm happy for May." Dawn said a little disappointed but happy for her friend. "I can't believe I have to pretend to be married to that stupid playboy jerk!" Leaf said annoyed. "Sweet! I got Ryan, oh and Rudy you got Chad and Ash got Zeke." Barry said excited. "You think you have it bad Leaf? I have it way worse!" Misty said angry finding out who she was eventually going to have to kiss. "Cool." Ash said not really caring about his role in the play.  And with that they all went home.

*A couple hours later  *

"Sammy you made us late again!" Melody said irritated. "Yeah! And now we missed tryouts!" Miette complained. "Well maybe Ms. Ketchum will know that I'm the best person for Gabriella and picked me." Brianna stated. "Come on let's look at the list!" Ursula screamed impatient. "YEAH!" Sammy agreed. "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! I got Ms. Darbus!" Melody screeched. "YOU THINK YOU HAVE IT BAD?! I got MARTHA COX!!" Miette screamed. "I got Mrs. Montez. Is that a good thing?" Sammy asked stupidly. "NO!" They all replied. "Aww." Sammy said disappointed. " Oh I got  . . wait WHAT?! A CHEMYSTRY TEACHER!" Ursula yelled. "Wow that more worse than mine." Miette said. "SHUT UP!! I GOT THE LIBRARIAN! THAT MAY GIRL IS GOING TO PAY!!!" Brianna screeched. "Let's go. I'm done playing games. First, she thinks she can steal Drew, and Now she steals me part in the play! Come on let's go to my house I have a plan." Brianna said with an evil grin.
