in which khun disappear for a while, and baam screwed up.

over there!

baam cries out khun's name, hands shaking and eyes twitching as he fumbled on dried-out grasses, vaguely overriding skeletal tree limbs. as a man of action, he dared not to mistake khun's scent, dared to forget or to be forgotten by his significant other.

but behind distant woodlands winds and overlapping spurs of mountains stood a dominant, prideful pale white moonflower. its smell lingered around the tip of his nose sickeningly sweet, almost familiar scent that could make him tear the tower apart just to search for its owner.

"baam?! what the hell was that?" leesoo didn't spare time to catch his breath until he reaches baam, and a hand grips tightly at his shoulder.

"i-" baam paused, regretfully hesitant before he finally spoke "..scented something, i think it was this flower, this moonflower. or whatever is lingering in the air that smelled exactly like khun. leeso, i-"

he gasped, choking in the fragrance that he once adored, or not, maybe he just likes it because the stronger the smell, the closer he was to the cradle of it, to khun, his khun. the scout looks at his companion in misery, his hands reaching out only to be forced to be back once he heard him yearn—with desperation filling his larynx to the point that he could barely realize his voice.

"..leeso, what did i do?" was it an unforgivable mistake? what could he possibly do that even khun couldn't stand it? what kind of terror had he caused, what kind of crimes had he committed to letting him slip away?

just how many more times does he have to lose him again?

"baam..you did nothin-" leesoo frowns, no words coming out from his tongue that could at least spare baam some sanity, shaken fingertips left crescent crimson marks on his palms, an unspoken sign that was clearly shouting out loud his helplessness. but baam—baam was having no time for any of that craps.

"then what didn't i do?!"

baam broke down, drowning himself to the ground as his eyes swelled with tears.

"please.." he pleaded, "it's not fair that only you know where he is, leesoo, couldn't you just tell me? i won't mess his plan up this time, please, please.."

leesoo sighed, he knew this would happen, no, he was sure that this will happen if that bastard decided to leave the team, screw you, khun aguero agnes.

he grunted his teeth as he was trying to explain, "baam.." leesoo mumbled, "don't you believe him, your light-bearer for a bit? he especially told me not to tell anything to you, don't you trust him enough to follow that?"

"i would.." baam choked on his own tears, "if he wasn't gone for two whole years!"

as baam started to ramble, leesoo had to mentally face-palm himself, gosh, how many times has this happened? just as he was about to get baam up, then, a message quietly appeared on his pocket.

it was khun.

"all things accorded to plan.." he could quite literally hear the sneaky cat's voice in his head as he read the message, "head to the next floor as soon as you can, we'll break into the territory to get the colorless december for baam."

leesoo smiled as he gets baam up from the ground, struggling to even pull him on the first place.

"baam," he instead said, "let me tell you what: finished the test tomorrow with us, and if you scored an exact one hundred and fifty-four points on the ball test.."

he had to hold back a burst of laughter at baam's glimmering eyes.

"then i might tell you something about khun's whereabouts, so, do we have a deal?"

as baam's face hardened with determination, leesoo knew he won.
