Part 41:
Hello people...
So here I m back with another update for u!! But before that there are a few things that need to be done... So, apparently a few of u are not well aware of the characters of the show and my bad, that I didn't even introduce any of the characters.

So for those, who didn't understand the reason for Manik's hatred towards Harshad in the last part. Here's a brief note for u...

Introducing Abhishek Malik as Harshad Saxena....

Harshad used to study with Fab5 in college and they never really went along. Mainly, due to his evil actions and his bad intentions towards Mukti. Harshad is a womenizer. Manik and he always ended up fighting over something or the other. So, basically Harshad is going to play a Baddie in this story, though he doesn't hv much part. Also, a few shocking facts about him will be shown later.

Ohk then, that was it about Harshad. There is going to be another new entry, probably within the next 2-3 parts, I'll definitely introduce him/her that time. And here goes the part for u, hope u all like it.... Plz, do vote and comment ur views...

Manik: Nandini for god's sake can u tell me why r we letting Aliya go in there alone....

Nandini: Shh... Look there!!

All of them turned towards the garden area where Aliya was. When suddenly, all the lights went off making the entire area pitch black.
Manik: Nandi-

Nandini: Hang on guys!!
And as she said this, the other end of the garden was glittering in lights, with a really large message written there with lights in the centre.

"WILL U MARRY ME??"

Aliya was stunned looking at it and turned around towards her friends to find no one behind her. She turned back towards the msg written by the lights when she saw Dhruv sitting in front of her on his knees...

Dhruv: "Aliya... All throughout my life I needed someone or the other by my side always!! To support me through different phases of life. But no one has ever supported me the way u have. Bearing me and accepting me with all my flaws is what u hv done. And all I know now... Is that, I Can Do Everything In This World Only If U R There By My Side.....

I know we have been together from about 7-8 years and have been living together almost from the time our college ended.... But call me selfish or anything, I still want more of u. I want to be rightfully possessive for u.... I want to be able to shout and scream to this entire world that u r mine.... I wanna make sure that i would wake up to see ur face as the first thing every morning.... So Miss Aliya Saxena, lets put this out straight and simple.... WILL u MARRY me!!! "

By the time he finished Aliya was badly in tears while her face was glowing in happiness with that beautiful smile playing on her lips. She had not expected this coming onto her at all and above that, his pure heart felt love made her feel like to fly.

Without saying anything to him as an answer, she simply threw herself over him, wrapping her arms around his neck and sitting on her knees just like him. Dhruv too hugged her back while all their friends had broad smiles on their faces looking at those two.

Dhruv took out something from his pocket and held her hand making her wear it. Aliya broke the hug feeling his touch and saw an amazing ring shining on her fingers. She smiled further looking at it and found words to express her feelings.

Aliya: I love u...
Was all she could utter at that time.

Dhruv: I love u too!!

Both of them again hugged each other, as tightly as they would ever expect.
When the others couldn't wait anymore.

"CONGRATULATIONS GUYS!!!"
Manik, Cabir and Mukti walked closer towards them while they stood up on their feet and hugged them.

Manik: Salle.... Bataya bhi nhi!! Aur itna kuch kr liya

Aliya: U guys didn't know??

Mukti: No Aliya... This was as much a surprise for us as for u.

Dhruv smiled sheepishly at it and said,
Dhruv: Except for one....
He looked back to find Nandini still standing by the bushes, smiling at all of them. She walked closer and hugged aliya.

Nandini: I m so happy for u...

Dhruv: Sry guys... Actually I wanted to do this all alone. But then, I was confused how to get u all here together without even giving off the idea. I wanted all of u to be there with us on this moment. So, in the end I decided to take Nandini's help.

All of them smiled at him and hugged him again.

Later that night, Dhruliya went for a Romantic Dinner after Dhruv's proposal while the rest of them reached the Malhotra Mansion.

They were all sitting in the Music room and chilling. Manik was playing something soothing on his guitar, Mukti was pulling Cabir's leg as he chatted with Navya. And Nandini was simply sitting there doing something in a dairy. They talked occasionally and in short, were having a gala time. It was then that Nandini got up and walked to the window, looking up at the stars.
The cold breeze along with the soft music from Manik's guitar brought a beautiful smile to her face.
Sun mere humsafar
Kya tujhe itni si bhi khabar

She started humming a song still looking outside and smiling at the cribbing voice of Cabir and Mukti. While the rest three were too busy to hear her feeble voice as she was singing very slowly. And she continued,

Sun mere humsafar
Kya tujhe itni si bhi khabar
Ki teri saansein chalti jidhar
Rahungi bas wahin umrr bhar
Rahungi bas wahin umrr bhar, haaye

She was too much lost in her own world whike this time Mukti heard her and stopped Cabir from saying anything which made Manbir too listen to her soft voice. While Manik continued playing not wanting her to stop.

Muskurana bhi tujhi se seekha hai
Dil lagane ka tu hi tareeka hai
Aitbaar bhi tujhi se hota hai
Aaun na hosh mein main kabhi
Baahon mein hai teri zindagi

She had her eyes closed as she smiled with Manik's face on her mind.

Hai nahi tha pata
Ki tujhe maan lungi Khuda
Ki teri galiyon mein iss qadar
Aaungi ab har pehar

Sunn mere Humsafar
Kya tujhe itni si bhi kha-

But she stopped abruptly this time as she realised mukbir had stopped fighting. She turned around towards them to find all of them looking at her intently. While Manik too stopped playing ass he turned.

Mukti: Nandini... U can sing???

Nandini looked here and there at that and then simply said,
Nandini: It's time for dinner... I'll see if it is ready or not...
But Manik could easily make out her voice choking in between, making him worried.

And before anyone could ask or say anything, she ran out of the room...
Cabir: Nandini.... Listen-

Manik: Cabir, No!! Let her go!.

Mukti: But what happened to her all of a sudden. Right now, she was humming a song, smiling peacefully and then, such a weird behaviour.

Manik was still looking at the door, and said,
Manik: To be true... I have no idea, and I m dying to know it!! But.... I won't ask her!!

Cabir: Why??

Manik: Coz I know whatever it is... It gives her pain and thats the last thing, I could wish for her.

Mukti immediately smiled at him mentally saluting his love when she heard someone's voice.
"Guys... Where r u all??"

Cabir: Aliya....

They all moved out of the room and reached downstairs only to find Aliya and Dhruv standing there, waiting for them smiling brightly.

Manik: Oo our love birds are back so soon!!
Manik teased them as Nandini too moved out of the kitchen and smiled when Dhruv said,

Dhruv: We have news for u all...

Aliya: And we just couldn't wait to share it, so we came back early.

Cabir: And that news is??

Aliya: We have decided to get married..

All of them looked at her as if she was an alien when Mukti said,
Mukti: OoooooooK... But I guess we all know that already, whats the big news that u-

But she stopped right in the middle when Aliya continued,
Aliya: In the middle of the next month....

All: WHAT??

Both dhruv and aliya smiled as they nodded and all the others jumped over them to hug them.

Soon they were all sitting on the dining table as they had dinner while Dhruliya simply sat there.

Manik: But seriously guys.... This is really amazing!! I mean we hv hardly 25 days left.

Nandini: But that's enough... We'll arrange it all...
Nandini said with a new excitement on her face which didn't go unnoticed by Manik.

Mukti: Yes... Aliya u just wait and watch. I m gonna get the best wedding planners of the country for u guys!! This wedding would be so grand that each and every single soul will remember it.

All the others smiled at it fully and soon they decided to call it a day and start the preparations from the next day itself.

Next morning, Manik was getting ready when he noticed that again Nandini was late as she didn't come to his room. He smiled at it and made a she_can't_change look as he moved downstairs and sat at the table for breakfast.

Manik: Simi... Breakfast!!
He called and opened up the Business Times.

A few minutes later, he heard the voice of a pair of heels walking towards her and he instantly knew it was her. A smile touched his lips as he heard her bubbly voice.

Nandini: Good mrng Manik....
Manik looked at her and he was again stunned by her beauty.

She placed one of the two cups she had in front of him, and took a seat.
Nandini: I know... I know I m late again, but don't u dare spoil my mood with ur Monster Talks ohk...

Manik: As u order Ma'am...
Manik mocked making her smile at herself, which was reflected over his face immediately. When suddenly he noticed some change in her. Her eyes seemed to hv darkened and she looked tired.

Manik: Nandini.... Are u fine?
Nandini: Yes!! I m absolutely fine!
She said not even looking at her which made him hold her hand and stop her.

Manik: Look at me...
Nandini looked up this time straight into his eyes and said slowly,
Nandini : Manik.... Relax!! I m totally fine... I m always fine when u r around.

Nandini pressed his hand assuring him once again and then said,
Nandini: Ohk now relax and have the coffee before it gets cold.

Both of them had their breakfast and were all set to leave for work. Manik got up from his chair when by mistake a glass full of juice spilled over his shirt and jacket.

Manik: Freak!!!
Nandini: Shh shh... Its ohk!! U go change, I'll wait for u here itself.

Manik nodded at her and moved upstairs while Nandini sat on the sofa, waiting for him. As he changed, he received a call from Cabir about some new Album launch details. By the time they finished the call Manik realised that he was half an hour late. He rushed downstairs in a hurry only to stop abruptly in his tracks as he smiled at the view in front of him.

He saw nandini sleeping peacefully resting her head on the back of the sofa. He walked closer towards her and was about to wake her up when he remembered her tired face at the breakfast table.

He touched her head to make sure that she is well or not and sighed a relief. And the next minute, she was in his arms as he walked towards her room making sure not to wake her up.

He made her comfortable on her bed and sat down beside her watching her lovingly.
Manik: How can someone be so beautiful...

He slowly kissed her forehead and removed her heels as he covered her with the duvet. Who would hv even imagined, the Manik Malhotra taking care of someone like this. But here he was, in an ever so different form only for this simple girl who had now taken up ever his mind, heart, and even his soul.

With this Manik left for work. He reached the office and went straight to his cabin. And within an hour itself, he realised how badly he was addicted to her presence. It didn't matter if they stayed busy in their respective cabins all throughout the day but knowing that she isn't in the next room made him restless.

He remembered about the time when she had injured herself and the way he had missed her. Those days though hard but were very special for him as it was the time when he actually came close to her. That was the time when he realised that he actually loved her. It had hardly been 2 months since then but they hv grown a lot lot more closer to each other than he could hv ever expected.

That's all for today ppl... I know its a short update but i hv been a way too much busy these days due to my College Fest. But still something is better than nothing right!!
I'll try my best to write the next part sooner.... Pakka promise 😂😂
