Part 52:

" What is this??? I told u na this decor is for the stage.... And this is for the place where Aliya will sit for the mehendi!! Now buck up do it fast!!"

Nandini instructed the team as she moved on checking the arrangements.

Nandini: Hello!!!

Nandini said on the phone as she called someone.

Nandini: Cabir... Hv u checked on the food arrangements??? Arey so what r u waiting for, go check them and let me know..... And yes, take Navya with u for help.

With this she disconnected the call when she saw the time.

Nandini: Shit... Manik must be waiting for me. We hv to rehearse!! I must rush now....

She ordered everyone to finish of the work and rushed to Manik's room as they had planned to rehearse in his room's balcony. She entered the room to see Manik busy in some work, as he sat on the couch surrounded by files.

Manik: Oo Nandini good that u r here.... Come sit!! See this revised contract about the Telecom Project, here it.....

And it went on and on, both of them got so busy in work that the rehearsal was now a long forgotten thing. They went on discussing as they made an important presentation together.

Well, that was another thing very common about them. When they started working, then nothing else mattered to them. No one could say that they were a couple if u see them working. Formal talks, concentration on the files, focus.... They had it all when it came to work.

About about 2 hours, Manik sighed and saved the presentation as he rested his back on the couch.

Manik: Finally!!

Nandini got together all the files and piled them up on his table, as she moved to his bed and started arranging his stuff. As she kept on speaking.

Nandini: Manik... U r such a child. What is this, is this the way u keep a room?? Cloths, files, bed sheets... Everything is scattered!!

She arranged his bed and kept his cloths in the cupboard, when she turned to find him looking at her, no actually staring her intently with a slight smile over his face.

Manik saw her looking at him and got up moving towards her. Nandini looked at him confused when he came closer and her her by her elbows.

Manik: I just love seeing u doing all this for me.... Knowing that u r Mine... And only u could do this or hv the right to do this...

Nandini blushed listening to him and looked down, when he cupped her faced in both his palms and moved closed as he placed a slow kiss on her flushed red cheek.

Nandini closed her eyes feeling him while he moved to her other cheek followed by her eyes slowly everytime. Manik moved his face down to her shoulder trailing slow wet kisses up towards her neck, while Nandini arched her face to give him further access.

Manik moved back and looked into her eyes, who always spoke more of her heart than she did. No matter what, this girl was now his life and he was yet again sure about it.

He moved closer towards her, while Nandini moved her eyes lower eyeing his lips. Manik slowly fused there lips together, and a low moan escaped her mouth as she surrendered herself to him.

Manik kissed her passionately, pouring out all his love while Nandini too reciprocated equally. They kissed each other madly untill they were breathless and finally broke it resting their head together.

Manik took some time as they caught their breath and then whispered,

Manik: I love U Nandini.....

Nandini smiled at his confession all over again. Yes, he always kept on telling her that while she just smiled or blushed at him. She opened her eyes to look at him when her eyes fell over her hand that was cupping his face.

Nandini: Ohh Shit.....

Nandini said loudly and got away from him leaving Manik confused at her sudden behaviour.

Manik: What???

Nandini: Manik its 5:30... The function is about to start in an hour and in all this work we even forgot to practise. What will we do now?? Ayiappa plz help me, I hv to check the arrangements, get ready, then check on Aliya also. How will I be able to -

Manik: Shh!!! Relax...

Manik interrupted her, holding her by her shoulders as he pulled her into the hug.

Manik: Just relax ohk... U go and get ready. I will check on the arrangements till then. And about the performance, chill.... We'll do it directly on the stage, and believe me, we'll be amazing...

Nandini smiled at him still into the hug and sighed as she tighened her girp on him.

Nandini: I Trust U!!

Nandini whispered kissing his heart and then broke the hug.

Nandini: Chalo now get ready fast, I'll see u downstairs and yes, don't forget to select a song on which we will perform I'll be depending on u, cabir wanted to keep the tracks ready.

Saying so she rushed out of the room while Manik smiled at her retrieving figure,

Manik: Pagal!!

Soon they all got ready for the function and the girls went to Aliya, while Cabir Manik and Dhruv had already reached there. Dhruv busy with his parents and Manbir were checking the arrangements.

Navya: Guys... Its time!! I think we should start the function....

Navya said to them as she reached along with Mukti.

Cabir: Woah.... Hi girls!! Looking beautiful..... Yr Mukti tu achchi khasi ladki to thi, kyu ye humesha ladka banti rehti h.... Dekh aaj toh tune yahan ladko ki hi laga di!!

Mukti: Cabir yr... Why can't u leave me Alone?? Concentrate on ur girl friend na... U two do ur Romance, till then Manik and I will start the event.

Navya blushed at her words while Cabir simply smiled and watched Manik going with Mukti laughing.

Cabir: Chalo Mukti ne kuch to achcha kiya.... So My lady, ready for tonight??

Navya looked at him with wide eyes and found him smirking.

Navya: Chii... Shut up Cabir!!

Cabir: What Chii.... Its not like we would be doing it for the first tym na...

Navya: Cabir shut up... See manik is gonna start!!

Navya said with a dark read blush making Cabir laugh out loud as he wrapped his arm around her shoulder.

Manik: Good Evening Ladies and Gentlemen.... I take the pleasure to Welcome all of u officially for this Memorable Union of our dear friends Dhruv and Aliya...

Mukti: So Guys.... Without wasting much time, lets start the Sangeet and Mehendi Ceremony!! And what would be better than starting it with our lovely star couple.

Everyone hooted for them while Manik continued,

Manik: As we can clearly see, our groom getting restless out there, waiting for his lady love. Buddy... Ur wait is over, come up on the stage.... Ppl a big round of applause for the bride and groom.

Saying so Manik and Mukti moved down the stage as the lights were turned off. The slow Music of the song started as the flash light shined over the magnificent couple on the stage.

Both of them danced gracefully, lost into each others eyes. Hundreds of emotions visible in their eyes, celebrating their togetherness. As soon as they finished their dance, the entire area was flooded with claps and hooting.

Manik: Love is in the Air Haan.... Wow Dhruv, I never knew u were such an amazing dancer.

All of them clapped for the couple and Mukti continued,

Mukti: So guys.... Before proceeding with the event as our bride shall sit and start with her Mehendi ceremony.

Aliya moved down the stage to the place specially set for her Mehendi. She was made to sit there as Dadi and Dhruv's Mother applied a bit of Mehendi on her palms which was followed by professionals.

Dadi: Navya beta Nandu kahan h??

Dadi asked finding Manik's gaze moving all around the venue.

Navya heard her and then looked around,

Navya: I don't know Dadi... I saw her when she came downstairs with Aliya, don't know where she went after that...

Aliya: Dadi she said she had to check onto the gifts for the guests... She must be back soon...

Dhruv's Mom: God bless her... She has been working all throughout the day!!

Manik smiled at her words feeling proud over her when he saw her walking towards them still talking over the phone.

Nandini: I would request them to contact personally, other than that I don't think any meeting is possible for at least a week. U might hv to wait..... Yes yes, I'll give u the conformation by tmrw... Sure!!... Ur welcome...

Nandini disconnected the call and rushed to stand by his side.

Nandini: Sry sry sry... I got late!!

Dadi: Its ohk... Chalo Manik!! U go and continue with ur event. Aliya will watch it from her only.

Manik nodded at her and walked up to the stage.

Manik: Ohk guys... So lets continue!! Next up on the line we hv our Dramebaaz Cabira with his sweet girlfriend Navya.... But before we start I hv a request, guys as u all know we hv kept this wedding as a very personal affair so I would like to request u all to plz do not post any of the pics of this event on social media...

Soon the spotlight fell over Navya who stood there as Cabir walked up the stage lip sing the lyrics.

Both of them started dancing in an ever so energetic way, totally enjoying themselves with Cabir's fantastic expressions as he chase Navya.

The performance continued as everyone enjoyed to the fullest.

Mukti: Wow... Vese Cabir, Bach ke rehna... Tu dilliwali girlfriend chhod ke aaya, kahin Navya tujhe na chhod ke chali jaye.....

All of them laughed at it and Cabir ran up to the stage and snatched the mike from Mukti.

Cabir: Yr... Tujhe mere se problem kya h!! Kyu meri love life ke piche padi h...

Mukti: Arey teri harkate hi esi h... U know what, u should take up some training for being a good boy friend!!

Cabir: Yeah right... From who... U??

Cabir said sarcastically making everyone laugh.

Mukti: No no... I hv an even better option for u!!

Mukti: The cutest couple I hv ever met.

Saying so Mukti got down the stage oulling Cabir with her as the song started in the background with Manik under the spotlight.

The crowd hooted for him when he felt Nandini wrap her arms around his waist from the back and he turned around while the lyrics started.

They danced together, lost in each others eyes, forgetting the entire world that was watching them. Nothing else mattered to them at that point of time, except for each other.

While Manik continued leading Nandini with him and she surrendered herself following all his steps, as she felt him pouring out his heart through the lyrics.

He had chosen the song, specially just for her and it indeed touched her heart. Though they had not practised for it even once, but no one could say it looking at them perfectly in sync with each other. Talking through their eyes and turning the entire ambience into a Romantic one... Soon the song finished and they were bought out of their la la land by the huge applause.

Mukti: Amazing... Seriously guys!! Cabira... Tuitions le le yr tu toh...

The entire crowd bursted in laughing while the event continued as next came up Dhruv's parents and present a short dance on a 90s song. As they finished Navya took up the mike.

Navya: Well... If I ask u all about one thing special about this wedding then what would be the answer. Fab5.... Right???

Everyone cheered for them while Navya continued,

Navya: Friendship for everyone has different meanings... But the best one that I hv ever seen!! Is Fab5..... There couldn't be words to describe these ppl. They can smile through a hundred tears if they are together. They can fight for each other, die for each other..... This wedding is not just special for Dhruv and Aliya... Its equally special, for these three who are so happy for their friends that nothing could be expressed. So lets welcome, Manik, mukti and Cabir....

Manik and Cabir got onto the stage looking dapper as they started along the lyrics.

And then Mukti joined them, earning a loud noise from the crowd.

All three of them twirled around dancing in happiness. Finishing with one song they proceeded towards the other song,

The crowd erupted in enthusiasm and soon the entire garden was filled with people dancing their hearts out. Soon they ended and got down the stage.

Dhruv's Mom: Chalo Bacho... Now that ur performances are over!! Navya, Mukti, Nandini.... U too sit and get ur mehendi done.

All the three girls nodded at her and were about to go when they heard someone playing the guitar. They turned around and were shocked to see Manik standing there playing his guitar.

Ho..

Everyone smiled at him while Cabir and Dhruv too joined him as he started,

They ended the song, irritating the girls to their full while everyone clapped for them. Manik smirked looking at Nandini, when Nandini slowly whispered something to Mukti who smiled at gave her a hi-fi.

Manik stood there laughing with Cabir when he noticed Nandini walking towards him in slow seductive steps. He was confused to see her when she suddenly came closer and roamed around her finger down his face and kissed his cheek. Manik literally lost his senses looking at her. But the next minute he felt her move away.

By the time he got back to his senses, his guitar was with Mukti as she started playing,

Manik noticed Nandini wink at her as Mukti sang sitting by a side while Nandini and Navya matched their lips with her words and moved towards him dancing,

Manik smiled at her words and held Nandini's hand as he pulled her towards himself,

Nandini got startled by the sudden pull and banged onto his chest. As he caressed her cheek,

Manik: Well u definitely got back on me..... I never knew u had this side as well!!

Nandini tried to free herself from his grip as ppl looked at them.

Nandini: Manik... Leave me!!

Manik: Umnnn... No...

Nandini tried a lot but then knew that he was in no mood to let her go as she slowly whispered to him,

Nandini: Mani Plz....

And as she expected he immediately left her and she ran away blushing hard while everyone laughed out loud.

Cabir: Ohh ho... Majnu Manik!! Wah!!

Manik glared at Cabir and soon they all dispersed as the girls sat along with Aliya to get their Mehendi done. The guests moved forward to attack the food, while the girls happily gossiped.

It was then that Nandini noticed something and said to Aliya,

Nandini: Aliya... Are we missing out on something??

Aliya was confused at her when she followed her gaze and they saw Mukti busy on her phone as the mehendi artist held one of her hand. But what caught their attention was the deep red blush adorning on her face.

Navya too noticed the same and the three girls shared a look.

Navya: Mukti??

Mukti was still engrossed in typing her msg as she simply replied, Hmn...

Navya: Usse baat kr rhi ho??

Mukti: Haan...

And the moment she realised she looked up,

Mukti: What... Kisse?? Me kisse baat kr rhi hoon??

Nandini: The same person who is making u blush so hard!

Mukti blushed again at her, failing miserably to hide it and said,

Mukti: Shut up u girls there is nothing like that!!

Cabir: Like what girls??

Cabir asked as the three boys joined them sitting beside them.

Nandini: Mukti is just talking to someone and Blushing hard looking at her phone...

Aliya: I mean... U know, maybe she..

Mukti: No ways.. Shut up aliya!!

The guys too noticed Mukti's blush when Cabir snatched her phone.

Cabir: Woah... Blush and all haan... Lets see!!

Mukti: CABIR... Gimme my phone back...

Cabir: No first lemme check...

He opened up her phone and found it password protected.

Cabir: Password!!! From when did u start keeping passwords...??

Mukti: Cabir just give it back to me....

Mukti snatched it from him while Aliya said teasingly,

Aliya: Woah Mukti!! Blushing!! Passwords!! Whats up haan??

Mukti heard her question and looked at her with a straight face,

Mukti: Aliya.... Its nothing!! Believe me...

Manik was about to say something to her when Nandini blinked her eyes at him stopping him. She looked at Mukti and smiled,

Nandini: Whatever it is Mukti.. Hang onto it... It makes u happy, we can see that on ur face.

Again a blush crept over her face as she looked down which was noticed by everyone. But they opted to stay numb at it. Soon Dadi called the boys back to attend the guest while the girls sat their gossiping.

About half an hour later, Nandini noticed both her hands fully clad in a beautiful mehendi when the designer asked her,

"Ma'am... Do u want any name to be written??"

Nandini heard her and blushed. But before she could say anything she heard a voice,

"Manik.... U write Manik!!"

She always knew that they loved each other but It was then that she knew that THIS WAS FOREVER.... She looked up to see him standing by her side, and immediately tears welled up in her eyes. Manik sat next to her and wiped her tears.

Nandini: Forever???

Nandini whispered, more like a question to which he slowly kissed her forehead and replied,

Manik: Humesha!!

Fresh stream of tears flowed down her eyes as she smiled brightly.

Mukti: Aww...

Aliya: U guys r so cute!!!

Nandini giggled at her words, while Manik looked up to see Dadi standing a little far away and smiling at them with tears in her eyes.

She saw him looking at her and passed a flying kiss to both of them, showering her love and blessing to their FOREVER... HUMESHA!!
