Part 54:

The party started in full swing, with the best arrangements. Amazing music, food, a champaign fountain, breathtakingly beautiful scenery, expensive chandeliers, what else was needed. Every soul present in the party was in aww with the view in front of them. And the cherry on the cake was the beautiful couple taking on the limelight. Dhruv and Aliya.

The theme of the party was kept to a ball room theme, having an amazing dance floor in the middle.

All of them were moving around attending different sets of guests, while Nandini choose to stick around Dhruv's mother and other close relative looking into their comfort. While Manik kept on looking at her in every few minutes. Cabir was busy with someone when Mukti went to him.

Mukti: Cabir...

Cabir: Yeah....

Mukti: Come here

Cabir saw her serious face and excused himself as they walked to a distance. When Mukti looking somewhere,

Mukti: Cabir... Manik was right!! This guy is really a bad news....

Cabir followed her gaze to see Harshad sitting on the Bar counter gulping down his drink while his eyes where fixed at someone in the crowd.

And to confirm his doubts, Cabir found Nandini standing right there.

Mukti: Just look at those expressions he has on his face.

Cabir: We can't tell this to Manik right away... Lets just keep an eye on him, and on nandini too!!

Mukti: I guess u r right.... Manik might end up handling things aggressively!!

Soon the hosts requested all the couples upon the stage when Nandini felt a hand around her waist. And immediately her smile broadened knowing the touch. When she heard him saying to Dhruv's mother politely,

Manik: I m so sorry Aunty, but can I plz steal My Girl from u all for a dance!!

Dhruv's Mom: Off Course.... After all she is all Yours...

Manik smiled at her as Nandini looked at him,

Manik: Shall we??

Nandini: Sure...

Both of them walked towards the dance floor to see all the couples already there as a romantic track was played.

Manik placed both his hands around her waist while Nandini wrapped her arms around his neck.

Manik: Nandini.....

Nandini: Hmn!!

Manik: I don't wanna go back!! Its so beautiful, so peaceful out here..... All day, its just us!! No work, no pending albums, no concerts... Once we go back, we will get so busy. Office, then the International Music Concerts... It will be all so hectic!!

Nandini: Manik... Wapas toh jana padega na!! After all thats life.... We can't be on a break forever!!

Manik smiled at her and then simply whispered,

Manik: Just be there with me.... I'll make it a break anywhere!!

Nandini smiled in response and they continued dancing so did the others while Mukti stood at a side recording everyone on her phone.

"Could I hv a dance with u beautiful lady!!"

She turned around hearing the voice to find Harshad standing there....

Mukti: Harshad... I seriously pity u!! U can never change....

Harshad: Ohh not at all !! I will never change and u know that very well.... So now the answer to my question??

Mukti: U r still on it.... Dance, n that too with u... Not even in the next 100 births..

Saying so mukti walked away from there when someone offered her a hand.

"Dance??"

Mukti looked up and smiled at the person as he lead her to the dance floor. Both of them got to the center, when Mukti asked,

Mukti: Where is ur girlfriend that u got time for me idiot??

Cabir: Hmn... Lemme think!! Maybe I got time for u coz I know that no other guy would dare to ask a jungli billi like u for a dance....

Mukti glared at him for a second while they both burst out laughing.

Soon the dance got over and it was finally time for the rings to be exchanged. Dhruv went up to the stage when the bride was finally invited. Aliya entwined her arm with Harshad as they walked up together. They reached up and Dhruv extended his hand forwards as harshad gave off her hand to him and moved to a side.

Soon the rings were taken up on the stage and Dhruv sat down on his knees as he said,

Dhruv: Aliya... U know me much more than I know myself, but today I promise u that I will understand u more than anyone else can do and be by ur side always... So, will u allow me to do so??

Aliya simply nodded at him smiling ear to ear with slight tears glittering in her eyes. Dhruv slid the ring on her finger followed by her and the entire arena could be heard thundering with applause. Dhruv took aliya in a hug making everyone smile and soon they were joined by their friends too.

Manik, cabir, mukti, Navya and Nandini joined them shouting,

"Congratulations Guys!!"

They all broke the hug soon and then individual hugs and kisses started when Dadi came up and scolded them,

Dadi: Arey leave them for sometime Kids.... They will be married tmrw!! U all hv to stop behaving like u used too.... Now they will need alone time as much as they spend time with u all!! Things change with Marriages....

Fab3 smiled at her and backed off a little. They all were about to get down the stage when they heard a voice.

They all turned around to see Dhruv singing as he forwarded his hand towards them to join him. Manik, cabir and Mukti picked up the mikes and rushed to them while Navni stood there with a smile.

All of them ended the song with another group hug while the crowd cheered for them to the loudest after witnessing their true bond with each other.

After this the party went on in full swing, as all of them enjoyed to their most, especially Dhruliya. The guests left and it was quite late when they all finally decided to get back to their rooms as the next day was the wedding.

As the realisation came across, nervousness took its tool over Aliya, after all she was a girl and it was the biggest day of her life. She decided to spend the night with Mukti, so they both together went to Mukti's room. Manik too left to freshen up in his room after telling Nandini that he would join her soon.

Nandini went to her room and entered her washroom with her nightwear. She came out a few minutes later and stood in front of the mirror applying moisturizer on her hands.

When she heard a voice,

"Beauty in its raw form today haan!!"

She turned around with a jerk to see someone standing at the other end of the room.

Nandini: What the hell are u doing here?? How did u get in??

"What? How? Where? All these r just waste of time baby... U should ask Why m I here!!"

Nandini: I don't care... JUST GET OUT from my room right now Harshad!!

Harshad: Woah.... Guts hann... U got it!!

Nandini looked towards the door and found it locked so she immediately moved forward to open it but before she could Harshad got hold of her hand as he pushed her over the bed.

Harshad: Um hn... Not so soon baby!!

He moved forward towards her but before he could hold Nandini pushed him away and moved towards the door again as he grabbed her hand and pinned her to the wall.

Harshad: This time I m not leaving u...

Nandini kept on trying to free herself while Harshad was trying to get closer to her, when he tore off her sleeve in a go.

As Nandini realised it she immediately held onto his shoulder and before he knew it her knee hit hard between his legs.

Nandini: GET OFF ME U MORON!!

Harshad fell off on his knees shouting in pain.

Harshad: AAAAHHHHHHH....

While on the other side Manik freshen up in his room and moved out to go to Nandini's when he met Cabir in the corridor..

They talked about the details of their flight as they all were leaving the next evening just after the ceremony. When they heard Nandini's shout,

"GET OFF ME U MORON!!"

Both of them looked towards her rooms when they heard Harshad's yelp in pain. They rushed towards the room but found it to be locked and immediately broke the door to see Harshad trying to stand as he again started to proceed towards Nandini, this time in anger. Nandini shivered looking at him and closed her eyes as she tried to find something to save herself when she saw Harshad lying on the ground again as he received a hard punch. Nandini looked up to see Manik standing in front of her with red blood shot eyes.

He turned towards her as his eyes softened seeing her danger stricken face, torn top. But the moment he turned back and saw Harshad his anger was back.

Manik: YOU FUCKING BASTARD.... HOW DARE U TOUCH HER!!! HOW DARE U?? I HAD WARNED U TO STAY AWAY FROM HER.... WARN KIYA THA MENE TUJHE!!

He continued beating the shit out of him when nandini ran forward and held his hand from the back.

Nandini: Manik... Stop!! Calm down.... Manik...

Manik:Nandini leave me...

Nandini: Manik plz....

She came in front of him and took him a bit backwards when Harshad stood up on his feet and laughed,

Harshad: Haha... But Manik!! There is definitely something in this girl right, I mean u r fighting for her, u r listening to her words.... Nyc yr!!

Manik glared at him while Nandini moved closer to his chest, staying close to him, trying to calm him down.

Harshad: Wese Manik.... All that u r doing for her, or bcoz of her... Isn't all this a bit too much for just a personal secretary. Or something else is happening in there...

Manik: I LOVE HER... U heard that, I LOVE HER!!

Manik shouted out loud at him but to their surprise Harshad started laughing at it loudly.

Harshad: Love..... The Manik Malhotra is in Love and no one knows.... The guy whose each and every detail is known in the world, he has hidden his love from everyone... Why Manik??

Manik said nothing to him and kept on glaring at him when he continued,

Harshad: U hv a company worth millons and in that entire company the only post that u got for her was ur p.a..... When the entire world knows she is much more capable professionally. Or u hv some other reasons for hving her as a p.a.

Harshad added the last line in a husky tone making Manik's anger increase.

Manik: You...

But Nandini again held his hand stopping him.

Harshad: Ohk fine Manik... Lets play it fair this time!! Just name the price and back off. Name her price and let me have her..... I will give her all that u r giving her and Nandini believe me, u will enjoy much much more in my bed than his!!!

Nandini's grip on Manik's hand increased to its most as she closed her eyes at his words but Manik's anger had now no limit. He immediately let go off Nandini's grip and marched towards Harshad.

For the next few minutes Manik was beating Harshad while Cabir was trying to stop him. And Nandini stood there rooted at her place s Harshad's words kept on ringing om her mind. She heard Harshad yelp when she came out of her thoughts and finally saw Manik. She immediately rushed towards them and tried to stop him.

Nandini: Manik... Manik stop!!

Manik: Nandini... Not this time!! I m going to kill him.

Nandini: Manik shut up and come into ur senses.... Its Aliya's wedding tmrw!! Plz stop for her sake!!

Saying so she pulled him away with Cabir's help while Manik kept on protesting.

Nandini: Manik plz... For Aliya!!

Manik groaned in frustration when they heard someone's voice.

" Don't stop him today Nandini.... This guy deserves far more worse than this...."

The four of them looked at the door to see Aliya and Mukti standing there. They had witnessed the entire seen as they too had heard Nandini's shout when Manbir did and had came running.

Aliya: U know what.... I m ashamed to know that I hv a brother like u!! I can't even imagine the words that u uttered right now.... And that too for this girl, the only one who invited u here for my happiness, and even after all this all that she has on her mind is that my day shouldn't get spoiled and You.... Uhh Forget it!!

Tears flowed out of Aliya's eyes while Harshad stayed there numb.

Aliya: U know what... Its good that I m getting married tmrw atleast now I can say I hv no relation with u.... And don't u even dare to show me ur face ever again. GET OUT FROM HERE RIGHT NOW!!! OUT......

Harshad stumbled in his steps due to all the pain but simply left from there. Aliya cried at it and ran back to her room.

Nandini: Aliya wait....

Nandini immediately picked up a jacket and walked out behind her with mukti after telling Cabir to be with Manik.

Aliya kept on apologizing to her for Harshad as she cried, nandini consoled her and soon got back to her room leaving her to get her much needed sleep while Mukti stayed back.

As she entered she saw Navya sitting there who told that Manik went back to his room along with Cabir. Nandini simply changed her dress and then went to his room knowing he might be angry.

As soon as she entered the room, Cabir left them alone. Nandini walked in to find Manik standing in the Balcony with his back facing her. She slowly went closer towards him and said,

Nandini: Manik....

But before she could continue, she was pinned to the door as Manik placed his lips over hers taking her in a hard kiss. Nandini stood shocked by his sudden move until he pinched her waist making her wrap her arms around his neck as her fingers clutched his hair and she kissed him back in equal favor.

Manik held her waist tight, closer to himself as he continued kissing the day light out of her. Both of them broke the kiss feeling out of breath but Manik was not ready to leave her as he dug his face in her neck, giving her trails of kisses.

In between of those kisses itself, they both moved inside the room and soon they were lying on the bed with Manik over her still kissing her neck.

He moved up from her neck as he gave her kisses all along her jaw line, her cheeks, her eyes, her forehead when Nandini again pulled him for a kiss.

This time the kiss was much softer, filled with all emotions and passion as his hands entered her top, moving his cold fingers over her waist. Nandini lifted up his vest a bit and they broke the kiss as he got rid of it and again attack her neck, this time lying over her bare chest.

Nandini moved her arms around him holding him close as he slid her top down her shoulder and kissed her there. Both of them were flowing on in the moment, in need of each other, feeling their desires at its peek.

Manik moved to her other shoulder and did the same when he reached her collar bone and bite her over there. Nandini moaned his name in pleasure rather than in pain.

Nandini: Manik....

But this got him back to his senses as he suddenly got up leaving her. Nandini took a minute to realise his sudden back down when he turned to the other side not wanting to make her feel uncomfortable as she straightened up her clothes.

Manik: Umn... I... I m sorry!! I didn't mean to, u can sleep here, I'll take up another room.

Saying so Manik was about to get up when Nandini held back his hand.

Nandini: Manik.... Plz stay here, U know I need u!!

Manik stopped listening to her words but didn't turn to face her so Nandini pulled him back down making him sit on the bed and cupped his face making him look at her.

Nandini: Plz... Hold me close to u!!

And that was it for him, Manik immediately hugged her tight in his arms as they both lied down on the bed. None of them said anything for a long long time after which Manik felt her breathing slow, indicating that she had fallen asleep. He lay there looking at her sleeping figure, while Harshad's words kept on repeating on his mind.

His thoughts were broken when sun rays entered the room making him realise that the entire night passed away. He looked at Nandini, to see her in peaceful sleep and tried to get up when he saw Nandini clutching his waist tightly. He tried to free himself from her grip but failed as she held onto him tighter and snuggled closer to him. He gave up on his attempts and decided to wait for her to wake up.

An hour later, Nandini slowly moved in her sleep and slowly opened up her eyes to see him staring at her face. She smiled at it and whispered,

Nandini: Good morning Mani....

Manik immediately made her loosen her grip around him and got up saying,

Manik: A lot of arrangements are left, We should get ready fast.

Nandini opened up her eyes at his movements and sat up straight looking at his expressionless face when she remember the happenings of the previous night. Manik kept his phone at the bed side table and was about to walk away when Nandini held his hand,

Nandini: Manik.... We need to talk!!

Manik: We r getting late and i-

Nandini: Manik... I said we need to talk!!!!

She said more sternly this time making him finally look at her. She made him sit on the bed and before he knew she took her place on his lap.

Manik: Nandini what r u doing??

Nandini: Exactly Manik... What r u doing??? Why r u letting that one person's words matter to u??

Manik looked up at her staring straight into her eyes when she continued,

Nandini: Manik... Do u really think that anything that the world says matter to us, until and unless we both know what we r to each other.

Manik: He was right... I should hv made this relationship public, I should hv offered u a better post long long back.

Nandini heard him and immediately snapped out on his words.

Nandini: Ohh shut up Manik... Seriously, A post..... Do u really think a name is gonna change anything. We know what work I do for the Malhotra Industries, our employees know and the work is going on alright. Then why the hell do we hv to make changes in the God Damn Post.

Manik: Better post gives better standards and better salary.

Nandini: Standards... I m sitting in the head office of the company with each and every power of a CEO in my hands bcoz u gave that to me and a post will give me more standards than this, which I don't even think is possible. And salary, my old salary is lying untouched in my accounts with no use and I need more than that. Wow.!! Thank for the information Mr. Malhotra!!

Manik: Fine... And what about making this thing Public. What about showing 'US' to the world.

Nandini finally calmed herself down and cupped his face.

Nandini: Our world lies here Manik.... In each other, in this family and in our friends. They all know 'US', and this is all that matters to me.... I love u, u love me... We know this, what else matters!! Why can't u understand such a small thing??

Manik sighed and melted in her touch as she said slowly,

Nandini: Manik... Plz lets just forget everything that happened and enjoy this day.

Manik looked up straight into her eyes and asked,

Manik: Can u forget it?? Can u forget all his dirty words about u, about us?? Can u say that it didn't affect u even a bit when he said all that crap??

Nandini broke the eye contact and looked down as she replied,

Nandini: I don't care!!

Manik: Yeah... U can lie to the world but not to me Nandini. U were holding me close all night as if ur life depends on it. Ur mind might keep on telling u to stay strong, but ur heart does fall weak in front of me Nandini.... Ur eyes said it all when u heard his painful and disgusting words.

Nandini looked back up at him and cupped his face again.

Nandini: Was there a percent's truth in his words??

Manik: No..

Nandini heard him and said sternly,

Nandini: Then why should I cry and remember it again and again!! Manik.... Get one thing straight and clear U might be Sorry for what happened between the two of us last night in this room, on this same bed. But for me those were one of the most special moments in my life, as are all the other moments that I spend with u. And if I would hv never stopped u from doing anything, u know why... Not only coz I love u but bcoz I Trust U!!!

Saying so she immediately got up from his lap and before he even knew she was out of the room. All of them got ready as it was finally the big day. Nandini changed into casuals as she went down looking into all the arrangements. An hour later, the entire family got down for breakfast after which they would get ready. They all sat for the breakfast when manik came down to see Nandini missing while Aliya seemed disturbed. As soon as Aliya saw Manik coming, she walked towards him and asked directly,

Aliya: Manik.... Is Nandini fine?? Is she Ohk!!

Manik smiled at aliya and took her in a hug.

Manik: Nandini is absolutely fine..... But I m not sure if she would be fine after knowing that u r wondering about her when u should be enjoying this day to the fullest....

Aliya sighed a relief and finally smiled hugging him back after which all the others too relaxed knowing everything is fine.

Aliya: But where is she???

Manik: Hmn... Madam is busy in the arrangements!! Even I don't know why does this girl has to do every single thing herself.

All of them laughed and joined the elders fpr breakfast after which the girls went to get ready as the beauticians arrived and the boys except dhruv went to help Nandini. They all started the work while Manik kept on trying to talk to Nandini. It was almost afternoon when all the work was over and Manik saw Nandini going to her room to get ready, he finally got the chance and pulled her behind a pillar.

Nandini: Manik what the hell is this?? Leave me!! I m getting late, we hv to get re-

But she was interrupted as Manik placed his lips over her taking her for a soulful kiss. Nandini responded to him immediately, pulling him more closer to herself. Both of them kissed each other taking out all their love for each other. Manik broke the kiss feeling her breathless and rested his forehead along with hers as they caught their breath back.

Manik: I m Not Sorry for any time that I spend with u..... And all those moments of ours are equally special for me as those are to U..... I Love You A Lot Nandini Moorthy!! More than what I ever thought I could Love anyone......

Nandini smiled at his words as she hid her face into his chest, tears making their way out her eyes,

Nandini: I Need You To Be There for me Manik.... I can't live without u!!

Manik broke the hug wiping off her tears as he kissed her forehead. He was about to say something when they heard Mukti's voice.

Mukti: Oohh God!! Here are these two....

Both of them moved a bit far as they saw Mukti and Cabir walking closer.

Mukti: Nandini, u r here and there Aunty(dhruv's Mom) is finding u everywhere...

Cabir: Kya yr Manik... At least leave her for sometime... Jab dekho tab romance!!

Manik glared at him while Nandini blushed.

Nandini: Come Mukti lets go!!

Nandini said moving back when Manik held his hand.

Manik: Arey where??

Nandini: Manik... Aunty ke pass!!

Manik: But-

Nandini: No buts u go n get ready... I'll see u soon!!

Saying so Nandini walked away with Mukti and Manbir went to get ready. Soon it was finally the time for the ceremony to take place.
