Chapter 10

Jessie's POV

Time Skip... A Few Days Later...

I'm ready to go back home for the time being. The trip out here despite its rocky beginning  was much needed. It gave Buzz and I both a better sense of clarity. I think it even strengthened our bond to some degree. Bullseye is coming back home with us too. We were going to alternate between riding on his back and walking by foot. We know Bullseye gets tired so we don't want to overwork him and/or take advantage of him. We say our goodbyes to our new friends and let our goodbyes with Woody and Bo linger a little longer. Woody motions for me to join him over on the side for a moment while Bo and Buzz talk. I raise an eyebrow at him but do as he asks.

"Is everything okay Woody?" He smiles. "Everything is fine. I'm just thinking about all of the fun we've had the last few days. I'm also so proud to see that you and Buzz have worked out your dilemma. Don't hesitate to come back and visit us again. We're planning on staying here for awhile. Next time you do though, be sure to use your words to tell the gang rather than just writing a short note and leaving in the middle of the night. We both know that you're better than that Jessie." I nod. "I promise. Take care Woody. You're one of my best friends and I love you very much." He pulls me into a hug and kisses me on the forehead. "Jessie, you're a stand up gal inside and out. Buzz loves you so much and is so lucky to have you as his girlfriend. Don't ever forget that. Okay?"

I hug him even tighter as tears begin to cloud my vision. I wipe them away when we pull apart. I then join Buzz and Bullseye. Buzz looks at me lovingly before helping me up onto Bullseye's back. We take one last look at our friends, both old and new before riding off into the horizon. Bonnie's probably worried sick about us as is the rest of the gang. Hopefully Dolly won't lecture us too much. No guarantees about that though...

 Woody's POV

I wrap an arm around Bo's waist as we all watch our friends ride off into the horizon together. This feels exactly the same as when we said goodbye to Andy and became Bonnie's toys. I shed a couple of tears but don't bother to wipe them away. I've never been afraid to publicly express my emotions. No one should be. Our emotions are a major aspect of who we are as individuals. There was a movie I watched with Bonnie once that taught me that. I think it was called "Inside Out." A girl named Riley had conflicting emotions about moving across the country because her father got a new job. Her emotions ended up conflicting with each other literally and caused even more chaos. Yet the deeper meaning behind it was profound, hands down one of the best children's movies I've ever seen.

Bo pecks me on the cheek. "They're okay now Woody. I have very good intuition. I also helped get the two of them alone to finally speak what's on their mind. What a world of difference a little communication can make." I blush and pull her even closer to me. "That's my girl. I'm proud of you. Thank you for helping them Bo." She bows playfully. "You're very welcome." When Bullseye, Jessie, and Buzz are out of sight, we all decide to go for a swim. Though the fish are a little annoyed with us because a certain someone *cough cough* Buzz threw a ton of pebbles into the lake the other day. *Sighs* You take the good and the bad and learn to roll with the punches.
