It had been 5 days since Sergio had heard anything from Jill on any update of his mother, father, and baby brother. To say he was worried was an understatement. He knew his parents could handle themself they were trained for god's sake. But Domi? He was still a baby. He wasn’t in any means naive or stupid, but he was worried about him being able to defend himself. He sighed as he tried to call Jill.

Chris was sitting on the plane with Mia, Leon, Dominique who was slumbering on Leon’s lap, and baby Rose. Who was safe and sound. And Ethan? He didn’t make it. Mia was heartbroken, Chris hated he couldn’t save him as did Leon, and Dominique. Well it just broke his heart. He had come to trust Ethan and the male went out of his way to protect Dominique. Despite looking for his own child. It was going to be quite the ride back so Chris decided to lay down for a bit and Mia and Rose had also fallen into a deep slumber. Domi was stirring on Leon’s lap and Leon looked down. Domi whimpered as he moved a bit.

“Shh… I know. We’ll get you checked out as soon as we are home.” Domi nuzzled more into Leon as the omega gently ran his fingers through his hair. “Mama… I’m scared…” Domi admitted.

“Scared of what baby? We are safe now.”

“I’m scared to tell you my secret… you’re going to be disappointed. I hate when I disappoint you…”

Leon looked at his little one and he cupped his cheek. “I know. And I’m not disappointed. I know you’re pregnant.”

Domi was surprised. “...but…how do you-”

“You’re my child. Even when you think you’ve been hiding something from me and your Dad. You haven’t been. I’ve known for weeks. I just wanted to give you the chance to tell me.”

Domi looked up at Leon, in the eyes and he teared up. “...I’m sorry Mama…”

Leon shook his head and he kissed his forehead. “It’s alright. Let’s just get you and the baby checked out… I’m worried about the bruising on your abdomen and how much pain you’re feeling. Until then… just rest.” He said, stroking Domi’s cheek. Domi nodded listening to his mother as he closed his eyes back trying to get a bit more rest. As soon as they got back Chris had to go give a report to BSAA he promised Leon as soon as it was done he’d race home. Domi got checked up by Rebecca and she told Leon, Domi’s ribs were fractured. She was surprised he was standing up right. Rebecca wrapped his abdomen as good and tight as she could without bringing harm to the baby. The good thing was that the baby was only 6 weeks so it didn’t cause as much damage as it could have if he was further along. Once he was checked out and given approved pain medication he could take without harming the baby Leon got him home.

Sergio heard the door open and he saw his mother holding Domi up and helping him walk. “Domi! Oh my god what happened?!”

“Fractured ribs.” Leon commented. “Sese go get that pregnancy pillow out of the closet and one of the nice fluffy pillows out of the guest room.” Sergio hurried to get those items and Daisuke was just coming in from smoking and when he saw Domi he rushed over immediately. “Oh baby…! Are you both alright?”

Domi winced. “I… I have fractured ribs… it hurts to walk… breathe… and stand for too long…”

Sergio came back with the pillows and Daisuke took Domi for a moment as Leon helped him set it up. Domi shook his head.

“C’mon baby this will be the most comfortable.” Leon took his hand and he and Daisuke helped Domi lay down as comfortably as they could. Leon looked as Daisuke took off Domi’s shoes and sat them to the side. Daisuke grabbed the blanket over the couch and he covered the omega up and Domi smiled as he held his hand. “Let me get you some water okay?” Domi nodded and Daisuke got up going into the kitchen and he opened the cabinet grabbing a glass and when he closed it Leon was right there. The alpha got startled.

Leon leaned on the counter. “Take good care of my boy and that baby in his stomach.”

Daisuke looked at Leon as he turned the tap off. “I will.” Daisuke said, looking him in the eye. “He told you already?”

Leon nodded. “On the plane he told me. Even though I’ve known since the beginning.”

Daisuke was shocked. “You have?!?”

Leon walked over and patted Daisuke’s shoulder. “Friendly tip, in the Redfield household even if you think it’s a secret. It’s not.” Daisuke looked mortified. How much did they know?

“Now get in there and give my pregnant son his water. Go.” Leon nudged him forward and Daisuke walked out the kitchen albeit a bit shaky. Sergio came into the kitchen chuckling. “He’s a mess. Exactly what did you tell him?”

“That secrets are not really secrets in this house.”

“Man don’t I know that too well.”

“That’s because you were always into everything.”

“I was not!”

“You so were. You were my most rebellious child beside Domi.”

Sergio pouted and he crossed his arms. “I was a good kid.”

“I never said you weren't, you still got into a lot of shit though.” Leon said, pinching his cheek and Sergio whined.

“Argh…! Mama I’m too old for that!”

“Not in my eyes.” Leon rebutted as he walked out of the kitchen. Leon went over to Domi kissing his forehead before he went to take a steaming hot shower. Chris came home and all was quiet. The fire in the living had long since died and Chris saw Domi asleep on the couch with Daisuke asleep on the floor beside him.

“Dad…?” Domi said groggily.

“Hey kiddo… Sorry I woke you.” Chris said, coming over and he kissed his cheek. “Are you feeling okay?”

He shook his head. “Fractured ribs suck…”

“They do suck but as you heal it’ll hurt less. Here…” Chris helped prop him up a bit more. It seems like he slid down in his sleep and Chris grabbed Leon's old heating pad and he got it plugged up and turned on laying it on his abdomen.

“How’s that?”

“Mn… nice. Thanks Dad… I’m sorry I didn’t listen to you.”

“Don’t worry about that for now. Just get better.”

“I love you.”

“I love you too kiddo.” Chris smiled and kissed his forehead one more time and he held Domi’s hand much like he used to when he was little. And he held it until Domi fell asleep by his side protectively as he always had been.
