"CONGRATULATIONS! I am so proud of you, Natsu!"

I was holding a bouquet of roses for Natsu. He looked at me with disbelief written all over his face. I gave him an impish smile before I handed him the bouquet. Today was our high school graduation and I was just watching him the whole time, smiling. I felt like a big sister watching my younger sibling reach another milestone in his life.

"Really? A bouquet of roses?" he said as he looked at the bouquet before glancing at my face again.

I chuckle "I'm just being proud of my best friend getting his diploma"

He let out a sigh before he handed me the bouquet. A frown embedded into my face and was about to speak when he speak first "Congratulations too, Lucienne"

I winced when he mentioned my name. A full name, really. Not to mention that his pronunciation was correct unlike the others that keep on calling me Lu-si-yen which is wrong because the correct pronunciation of my name is Lush-si-yen. Right! I know it was cozy but it wasn't my fault, my grandmother is the one who gave me my beautiful name.

"Can you just call me 'Lucy', Natsu" I said, pouting my lips "Calling me by my full name is weird!"

"What's wrong with your full name?" he said frowning "It is beautiful"

"Of course it is beautiful. It is my name after all"

He let out a deep sigh before massaging his temple. What really I admire about my best friend was his patience with me? After all, I'm really stubborn and a brat sometimes.

"Do you have a party?" I asked him innocently.

He shrugs "I'm not sure—" he couldn't finish his own words because some of his friends called his name "Damn!" he mumbled as he looked at his friend currently running towards our direction. Natsu looked at me and I gave him a confused look, "Lucienne..."

I chuckle "It's okay. You can talk with them, Natsu" I mumble under my breath "After all they are your friends."

He didn't say anything instead he stared at my face before nodding. I just watched them talk and I was just standing there, smiling. As I looked at his face, I knew for a fact that he was enjoying their company. Aside from that, I'm really happy about being part of another chapter of their lives. My heart felt so full already.

"Hi, Lucy, how's my favorite model? Are you finally adjusting?" Gray teased while we were all eating lunch for their graduation part. The lunch time is for friends while the dinner time is for their families.

"I'm still adjusting. It was hard but my manager and the company I'm working with are really nice with me" I shrugged and giggled.

"So you were planning to continue being a model?" it was Jellal who said it. It was a rare sight to see him speaking. Well, he was entitled as a man – with – few – words.

"Yeah" I said before I reach for my water "I can still handle my schedule very well"

Natsu pouted his lips and then frowned. Which is a weird combination by the way, he stared at my face as if he was trying to see if I'm lying or not. I gave him a reassuring smile before I continued eating my food.

"Ehem..." Gray cleared his throat which made me frown "Please have pity on us—" he could finish his words when he suddenly groaned in pain "Ouch! Damn!" he suddenly glared at Loki before reaching for his leg below the table.

I bit my lower lip to stifle a laugh "How about you, Loki? Your plans?" I asked like a mother. Well, I'm the only girl in this group and probably they see me as their sister or mother perhaps. Wait, that's a super weird thought.

"He probably started womanizing," Gray said while laughing.

"I'm just using my handsome face in a more useful way" he wink at me before looking at Gray "It's so sad that you can't do what I can do" Loki said with a smirk before sipping on his glass.

"Boo! Asshole" he raised his middle finger to Loki which earned a laugh on us.

I just continue eating my food as they continue with their own version of lovey – dovey. I couldn't help but smile, watching them. This moment might take some months before we could do this. After all, we are going to college – and for sure we will have a hard time adjusting, especially me. I'm not really sure if I'll be okay without my best friend by my side.

I WANTED to cry. My schedule really sucks! I'm not even sure if I can handle it for a month. I looked at my manager and she gave me a reassuring smile. A smile that told me I can do it – which I had a doubt. She handed me another paper which when I take a glance at it – my mouth instantly parted. I look at her silently begging her. Damn! My diet plan is... Urgh!

"You have to do it, Lucy" she gently said.

"I'm not even sure if I can do it" I mumble under my breath "And my schedule..." I close my eyes tightly then I massage my temple. I heard my manager chuckle which I don't know how she found this amusing.

"This is just for three months." Three months my ass. I remained myself mute and just stared at her while pouting my lips. She smile at me before gently patting my shoulder "I will help you, I promise"

I let out a sigh before I nodded. Even I argue with my schedule and my diet plan. It was actually a waste of time. My manager is just doing her job to keep me healthy and of course to boost my career, "Oh by the way, a guy named Natsu Dragneel..."

I lift my head and look at my manager waiting for her next words. She chuckle before getting something on the drawer "He told me to give you this invitation"

My mouth parted a little as I gave my manager an innocent look. She handed the invitation before she excused herself and left the room – probably giving me a little privacy.

I carefully remove the envelope which contains the invitation. When I opened the envelope I first noticed a dry baby blue eyed flower placed on a piece of paper and wrapped in epoxy. It looks like a keychain. A small smile formed into my lips. Natsu is probably the one who did this. I carefully get the card inside the envelope and read it.

It was a celebration of his parents wedding anniversary that will happen this coming Sunday. I immediately checked the schedule that my manager gave me – and thank God I am free that day. After reading the invitation I immediately picked up my mobile phone and called him. After a few rings - he finally answered.

"Lucienne..." he whispers under his breath.

I smile hearing my name "I receive the invitation, Natsu" I said "But..."

"You're not free?" his voice was too low which made me bite my lower lip. Why the fuck his voice sounds sexy? His voice is not like this in person.

"I am free. I'm just wondering why you didn't give it to me personally."

"I did give it personally—"

"Correction" I cut him off "You gave it to my manager. Not me" I say.

He chuckled "I see you working, Lucienne. I can't disturb you. And I can't stay for too long," he explained.

"But I didn't see you" I whine "I wanted to see you!"

Something went through us causing us both to be silent. I bit my lip so hard when I finally understood what I said. I opened my mouth to speak but no voice came out.

"Then..." his voice is too low "Open the curtains on your room"

I did what he asked me to do. This is how movies look like. The heroine sees the man below and waves it and smiles. Wow, I didn't know my best friend had the potential to be romantic.

But...

The studio and my room is on the twentieth floor. I close my eyes firmly. I heard a laugh on the other side of the phone and I know that he was making fun of me. I frown embedded into my face and my temper is slowly reaching the max level.

"I hate you!"

He laughed "I didn't know that you will do what I say" he said innocently. I didn't speak and continued sulking. This man -_-

I am taking back what I said about him having a romantic side. All he has is craziness that will take him to a mental hospital someday.

I was about to speak when all of a sudden someone knocked on the door, "Excuse me, Natsu" I said "I think my manager came back, Wait" I said and left my phone on the table then went to the door.

When I opened the door I could not believe I was staring at the figure in front of me. There was a smile on his lips as he looked at me then he raised his bright hand and gently traced his finger through my hair.

"Natsu..."
