What are you supposed to do when it seems like your whole world came crashing through the door? Percy could hardly even move, but somehow he managed to usher his friend through the door, pulling him aside.

"How are you here? How did you find me?" Percy whispered, green eyes wide. "And what do you mean your running too?"

Leo just looked at his friend. "I needed a place to stay, I knew you could help me. Plus, new kid around your age seen with Tony freaking Stark a day before Grover found out. Kinda surprised no one else figured it out."

"I guess when you put it that way it's kind of obvious," Percy admitted. "Why are you running? What happened back at Camp?"

"It doesn't matter. What does matter is the fact we're in the same boat, we both don't want to go back. So can I stay?"

"Yeah, of course. I'll ask Mr Stark if we can get you a room across from mine." Percy began to lead Leo down the hall.

"Speaking of, how do you know Tony Stark?" Leo asked.

Percy scratched the back of his neck nervously. "Oh, uh, funny story. I maybe kinda sort of used to be someone else and then met Chaos and was given new memories and a new life and also new powers but then something happened and so then I came back and now both of my lives are crashing together and tearing apart everything I worked so hard to build because I don't even know what to do anymore. But that's all that up with me, what's up with you?"

Leo just stared, standing there with his jaw dropped. Finally, he managed to speak. "That was. . .not what I expected you to say."

Percy laughed and the two walked to meet the others. Leo let out a sigh of relief and moved to stand next to Sally and Paul, too awkward to say anything around Tony.

"This is my friend, Leo. He's running from camp too, could he stay here?" Percy asked.

Tony ruffled his Percys hair. "Sure kid."

Percy couldn't help but laugh. Leo looked around. "Hey, Perce? Where's Annabeth?"

The room fell silent, all knowing what happened to the blond. Finally, Percy managed to speak. "That's what came up. She—She's dead." Percy looked over at Tony. "They're both dead, and it's no ones fault."

Leo knew there was something going on, even without understanding the human heart well, he could tell that much. He stayed silent and let the moment pass before turning to Percy.

"Camps looking for you, but I know one place they won't check if you ever want to get out for a few hours. I know a certain god who won't rat you out,"

Percy didn't hide the mischievous glint in his eyes as he grinned at his friend. "And where would that be?"

Leo couldn't help but grin. "Well I trust you know how to drive a boat, Percy."

Is it short? Yes. Do I care? No.
