Soon3 weeks were over& AvNeil were back to Mumbai

In khanna house-

Bebe did AvNeil's aarti& told them to rest
Neil took avni upstairs

In AvNeil's room-

They both sit on the bed next to eachother

Tho they refused at first as avni shudnt stay up for long, she pouted sadly &everyone gave up

They put on a comedy movie
Everyone laughed their hearts out while munching on snacks
75% of movies was over when neil noticed that avni had fallen asleep on his shoulder
He took her to their room& others also went to bed

He laid her on the bed &put the duvet

Another month passed& avni was 7months pregnant when neil decided something

Soon they shifted to the ground floor& explained to bebe shweta &prakash the reason

Everyone had kept few names ready- some of a girl& some of a boy
AvNeil had also thot of names but didnt tell eachother

Another 2months passed& avni's date of delivery was nearing
Everyone had become extremely careful
They had all alloted jobs to everyone that had to be done at the time of labour (ali-riya& aman-kareena included)

But often thing dont turn out as we plan/expect them to be-

The date was still little far when
Shweta, prakash &bebe needed to visit a relative for some emergency reasons who lived in US& the visit would take them at least a week-
They tried alot to refuse but cudnt

AvNeil were ralaxed as the had aman-kareena & ali-riya with them sothe trio left for US the very next day, thinking that they will return soon

To be on the safe side, aman& kareena shifted to khanna mansion till the delivery

And finally came the day-

Everyone was peacefully sleeping in the rooms when suddenly
Avni was peacefully sleeping in neil's arms when suddenly her sleep was disturbed- of extreme pain

She winced in pain

He ran upto aman& kareena's room& informed them
They also ran downstairs when aman tripped on a stair& sprained his foot

There wasnt any time to argue so neil& kareena agreed

On their way, kareena informed in the hospital to keep a stretcher ready on the entrance along with the labour ward

As instructed by the doc, neil& kareena kept on talking to avni so as to keep her awake

Though avni was terribly wincing in pain, she still tried& thankfully it worked

Finally they reached the hospital where ali& riya were already waiting for them (cz the moment kareena left with AvNeil, aman informed ali& riya)

They were filling the form& completing the initial formalities
On the way to the OT, avni was hell scared& was holding neil's hand tightly while he was giving her assurance that everything will be ok

Till the time of birth, everyone had decided not to tell bebe shweta& prakash anything as they didnt wanna give them unnecessary stress or tension

Everyone else was either sitting or standing outside the OT, taking a look at avni at intervals while neil was pacing back& forth outside the OT
Ali returned with coffee for everyone & around 25 mins later, the docs came out

Everyone got up& bombarded them with their questions

D-the baby has turned in the stomach& hence avni's condition is very serious

They looked at eachother in shock

The docs continued-
We are afraid we will be able to save only 1- either the mother or the child
You will have to decide soon

Everyone broke down
Aman who was on video call with kareena since she entered the hospital, also collapsed to the floor in shock

Neil went numb at the mention of choosing between his wife& his child
Still after gaining all his courage, he went back to the doc& said-

Do anything but save my wife
I can live without anything& everything but not her

They signal the nurse to bring the form& she followed suit

Saying so, the docs went back in the OT while neil signed the form

After some time everyone heard the sound they had been craving to hear since so long

But the happiness soon turned into silence- was avni ok?
The docs came out& everyone again stood up

Its a beautiful girl
They all were happy but still there was utter silence

D-and mrs khanna is ABSOLUTELY ok

Everyone burst into splits of laughter& tears of happiness

They all were rejoicing while the docs left but not before telling them that they can meet avni

Neil was the first one to enter the room

He saw avni already pampering the baby

Riya- this calls for a selfie (being the selfie addict she is)

They all take selfies& spend time with the baby
AliYa had contacted bebe shweta& prakash who were now on video call
They blessed the baby &AvNeil

AvNeil looked at eachother in surprise& so did others while AvNeil shared an eyelock

N-btw, i hope our daughter turn out to be more like me& less of my ms ajooba- who is always a sleeping beauty

Avni glared at him in anger while everyone bursted into laughter

Soon everyone left AvNeil with the babies& they spent time together- staring at the baby lovingly

Avni rested her head on neil's chest while he sat on the bed, beside her With wide smiles on their faces, they soon slept off
