They didn't want him. His team had abandoned him. And most importantly Rohit hadn't spoken for him.

His world broke apart that very moment. His team, his family, his everything had appealed for his removal from the team. He was at a loss for words. He didn't know what to do but all he knew that sleep was far from reach.

He awoke from his half slumber with nightmares of them mocking him every half hour his eyes red from stopping himself from letting the tears drop. He had pretend to be asleep when Anushka had woken up in the next morning and she too knew that he wasn't asleep. Ziva who happened to be sleeping next to Virat,woke and saw his blood red eyes. She was terrified as she never saw her Virat Chachu like this.

"Chachu are you ok?" She whispered quietly.

Virat quickly wiped his unshed tears and whispered back "Yeah baccha I'm fine, I was just thinking about how much you all love me and I'm so lucky to have you all." He half lied and half told the truth and his tears slowly started to drop.

Ziva felt really bad seeing her Virat Chachu like that and wiped his tears with her hands and Virat felt extremely happy at himself for keeping this cutie with him for the night otherwise god knows what state he would have been in.

"Ziva baccha come out na I've set breakfast for you and Virat don't be lazy because it's your birthday you hurry up aswell." Called Anushka from the kitchen.

Ziva rushed out hurriedly but Virat just couldn't make himself get out of the bed. He just knew that he didn't want to face the world after this. Anushka and Ziva had to use his own trick on him and pour a glass of water on his head and he felt somewhat normal.

"AAAAH!" he shrieked leaving the two girls laughing 😂. He realised he had to be normal at least until Ziva leaves.

"Ok fine I'm getting up." He said defeated. "Ziva get ready quickly we'll go to the beach today!" He responded leaving a jumping Ziva. She obeyed her Virat Chachu and ran out of the room.

"Virat, I know what happened. I saw your phone last night and I couldn't believe it either. You need to act normal for Ziva and for the world. We need to make them believe that it's all utter nonsense." Anushka spoke calmly.

"B-b-ut Anu i-t-t-s not ok. They don't want me anymore 😭." Virat broke down completely in his wife's arms and Anushka immediately felt so guilty for joining in with their plan. She wiped his tears and planted a small kiss on his forehead and said

"Come you promised Ziva that you'll take her to the beach. At least enjoy that." She spoke with maturity.

Virat attempted to eat his breakfast but ended up just playing with his food drifted in his thoughts of all the memories with his team.

On the side, the entire team was having fun preparing the house for Virat's birthday, little did they know that this prank of theirs has scarred Virat's heart beyond repair.

" Jaddu no. Don't !" Exclaimed Bhuvi running around the house and Jaddu with a mouse in his hand.

"Jaddu kill it!" Screamed Hardik sort of scared.

"No are you mad let it go!" Replied Rohit.

"Rohit please don't tell me your love for animals extends to a mouse. Seriously." Jinks spoke above all the chaos.

"Yes and my life's mission right now is to stop Mr Ravindra Jadeja from killing that poor creature!" Rohit screamed back determined making Jinks slap his forehead in disapproval.

By this time Rohit was trying to get the mouse out of the house and Jaddu was trying to kill it. The whole house was filled with screams and shouts and fortunately for Jinks and Bhuvi the only other 2 sane people - Mahi Bhai and Ash walked into the room. Mahi Bhai sighed at the scene and quickly took charge.

"Jaddu put the broom down and let it go." Mahi Bhai says sighing

"Yay see even Mahi Bhai is agreeing with me." Rohit squealed.

"No Rohit I'm not agreeing with you I'm trying to stop the chaos." Mahi Bhai responded.

"Thank you so much Mahi Bhai I was starting to lose my sanity." Jinks said relieved.

They all immediately obeyed Mahi Bhai. And now with everyone's attention he ordered them to finish the decorations and preps. Then he did something unexpected read an article that was known for spreading rumours.

The seniors dumbfounded and the kids started to shake in fear. Even Jaddu had worry written all over his face. At that moment they realised that someone may have seen the message and not realise it was a prank and had spread the news.

They realised what this prank had come to. The simple prank had caused chaos across the country. Little did they know what effect it was having on Virat.

Virat, Ziva and Anushka were on the beach trying to be normal but that was a catastrophe. The crowd started approaching Virat and he was dumbfounded. He himself didn't know the answers to the questions they were asking. He tried to think if had ever done anything to defame India or had he done something to offend his team.

He felt as if running into the water that very moment and never come out again. Anushka took charge and told the crowd that they wished Virat wished to be alone at this time and if they were his true fans they would understand and support him through this phase.

They dropped Ziva off with Sakshi Bhabhi and then left for their home. Virat felt as if he wasn't worthy of anyone and refused to come out of his room.

He sat there reminiscing all the times he and Rohit had a fight and Jinks would be peace maker. All the times he had to pour a glass of water to wake Rohit up. All the times he fought with security to get Rohit's lost items back. All the times Mahi Bhai had protected him from the trolls. All the times the kids clinged to him with pure love. All the times he took an interview and had to stop himself from exposing the team. All the masti, all the craziness and all the support through the trolls, but now they had backstabbed him.

He felt as though a thousand daggers were stabbing him and that pain was unbearable. And he was broken beyond repair.

He didn't know how to get over this and started thanking God for giving him all he ever wanted then snatching it away. He started to think at what he had ever done to hurt them. He decided to log into his fan page and put his feelings out there and see what people are saying. Perhaps media knows better than him for once.

Virat immediately felt much better and hadn't realised Anushka being at the door hearing all this.

Anushka quickly messaged the group chat that it had gone too far and they needed to cut it short and also stop any more rumours.

"I can't believe I agreed to this. Just imagine Cheeku's condition. I don't know what to do. I can't . I shouldn't have. Aarggh why I did I!" Mahi Bhai ranted while pacing back and forth.

The entire room was in pin drop silence for a good 3-4 hours. The only interaction was when having food but other than that no words were able to leave anyone's mouth. The kids realised that they couldn't face their Virat Bhai after this and the seniors knew that anything they do after this would effect Virat more than it ever has.

They realised they had to do something. Something quick before it was too late.

Rahul had an idea and quickly blurt it out. The team agreed and took out their phones and posted the goofiest pics of Virat with cute messages.

Virat saw each and every one of them and gave a small sarcastic chuckle at each one. He really was broken beyond repair.

The team knew they had to cut the prank short and they told Anushka to make some reason and bring him to Rohit's place.

"Vi I know this is bad timing but you should go and confront them. After all you will have to face them at family get togethers because I am still related to Rohit." Anushka spoke her heart breaking at her husband's condition.

"Anu you're right. I'm going to confront them and ask them what I have ever done wrong."

The drive was silent. Virat's anger was at it's peaks at some moments and he broke into small sobs at other moments.

They reached and Virat's heart started thumping with anger, guilt and it was all so overwhelming that he felt as if was going to faint.

Anushka opened the door with the spare keys and all of them jumped and attempted to scream SURPRISE. But it just couldn't make it out.

They all stood there heads hung low. Harry, Jassi, Kuldeep all stood there wanting to run up to Virat saying they were sorry.

Virat turned to look at Anushka in surprise to see that her head was hung too. He didn't know what to say. A sudden gush of anger run through him.

"Cheeku we're---" mahi bhai started to speak with guilt.

"Stop there Mahi Bhai. It hurts to even call you Bhai right now. How did you even agree to this ridiculous plan. Jinks what happened to your sanity. Bhuvi have I ever made you this upset that you treated me with this a birthday present. Jassi, Kuliya, Harry did you not once think about me. Just answer my one question. Who came up with this ridiculous plan?" Virat spoke with fire in his voice.

"It was me." Rohit spoke meekly.

"And how your lazy ass managed to convince all these idiots and even Mahi Bhai I don't know and right now I don't want to know. And Anushka how were you in with this plan. Your brother wants me irritated but how could agree with him!" Saying this he stormed out of the house leaving Rohit and Mahi Bhai running after him a minute later.

Jinks and Bhuvi just slumped into the couch. The kids stood there dumbfounded. Jassi and Kul looked as if they we're about to cry and both were snuggling into Shikhar and Yuzi. Even Jaddu knew that they went wrong with this prank.

Rohit and Mahi Bhai ran after Virat with Rohit on the verge of sobs and Mahi Bhai scared as to what his Cheeku will do to himself. Driving after him, Rohit almost had a panic attack.

"Bhai, I'm so sorry I didn't want this. I just wanted to surprise him. Get him back for all the times he irritated me. I didn't want for him to overreact, but I'm stupid I forgot that this is Virat and he overreacts for everything." He started blaming himself while taking deep breaths to stop his sobs.

"Rohit we know. It's cheeku he can't be mad at us for that long. If you saw the look on his face it seemed as though he was relieved that it was prank. He was shook Rohit. He thought we had left him forever. He's just a bit mad at all of us." Mahi Bhai tried to responded calmly.

Mahi Bhai tried to keep his strong facade up but in reality the guilt of hurting his Cheeku was eating him.

They finally reached the secluded beach that Virat visited only when he was extremely upset and that was rare.

They both knew his favourite spot and ran as fast as they could to that spot to find Virat's head resting in some girl's shoulder. And a boy ranting about something trying to make Virat laugh but failing.

A gush of jealousy took over Rohit and he was about to go and punch that guy's face. Mahi Bhai being Mahi Bhai had faster reflexes and stopped him and shook his head indicating to go and approach him slowly.

They went up to him and the boy stopped whatever he was saying and looked star struck for the second time in a day.

"Nikhil why do you look like when you saw me earlier today?"

"M-m-mahi sir and R-r-rohit." He blurted star struck.

"Huh?" Virat said genuinely confused and both him and Vaishali turned at the same time.

"Vaishh don't have another panic attack!" Virat teased and just increased Rohit's jealousy and mahi bhai was relieved that Cheeku was with someone and not by himself in such state. Then it struck him- WHO WERE THESE PEOPLE WITH HIS CHEEKU! He observed how Virat talked to them and he had never even heard of them before and suddenly realised that these people were his fans. He felt a gush of pride upon his cheeku because Virat was treating them how he treats the team.

"What are you doing here can I not have some peace." Virat scowled at Rohit who was glaring at the boy and girl that were taking his place in Virat's life.

"Well the way you ran out of the house like that scared us all and we came to find make sure you are ok." Rohit responded equally annoyed.

"Well you can see that I am PERFECTLY FINE and YOU are not needed here!" Virat shouted standing up in rage back. It made Mahi Bhai shake his head in despair that even in such situation these idiots are fighting. Vaishali and Nikhil moved towards Mahi Bhai in fright and he gave them a reassuring look.

"Oh yeah I can see that, mingling with two strangers!" Rohit scowled back at Virat.

"Well even if they were strangers they are better friends than you. Wouldn't think of ever hurting me like that." Virat exclaimed.

"Well you idiot decided to react like that. It was a prank for goodness sake!" Rohit retorted.

"A prank that made me feel like trash. You do you know that even media know about this stupid prank of yours. I'm being viewed as an idiot and I'm being looked down upon." Virat responded upset.

"And luckily for me I have fans such as these two who started a hashtag #wewantvirat and #wewantexplanationsbeforesuspensions." He carried on tearfully.

Rohit felt extremely guilty but the jealousy got the most of him .

"Oh wow Mahi Bhai did you see that self praise🙄," Rohit spat with fire.

"Don't drag me into this, it's your fight leave me out of this." Mahi Bhai spoke in a way that made Vaishali and Nikhil chuckle slightly but they stopped by one glare from Rohit.

"See even Mahi Bhai knows you are wrong so he didn't take your side." Virat spoke gloating.

"And why is me being friendly with your and my fans bothering you?" Virat spoke slightly teasing finally understanding what was bothering Rohit. Virat wasn't really mad at them after finding out it was a prank it was just in the spur of the moment and he was extremely happy inside that the team did love him but the anger got most of him.

"What do you mean? I have no problem!" Rohit stammered.

"Yeeaaaahhh suuuure. We can all definitely see that." Mahi Bhai teased making everyone including Virat laugh.

"Sorry!" Mahi Bhai spoke in a defeated way after seeing Rohit's whining face.

"I repeat what problem do you have with me being friends yours and my fans." Virat spoke teasingly yet again.

"Wait hold up did you say that they are my fans too?" Rohit asked in admiration.

"Yup Rohit sir me and Vaishali here are your huge fans even bigger than his pointing to Virat." Nikhil introduced. 

"Um oh ok. I don't know how to react that's a huge compliment!" Rohit chuckled. " And what is this sir, after giving me such amazing news you deserve to call me by my name not that I don't let any fan call me by name but you get the point!" he teased.

"Gosh the way these two fight and make is the one thing that even I cannot understand!" Mahi Bhai exclaimed dramatically and as on cue everyone burst into fits of laughter. 

They spent the time on the beach well and Vaishali and Nihkil gelled with Rohit well. It was almost 9 at night and they were still here. They realised they should get going because everyone must be dead worried while Rohirat are fighting over which ice cream flavour is better and Mahi Bhai, Nihkil and Vaishali are watching them with adoration. Once they dropped the two fans home Rohit took no time to ask the one question that was bothering him. 

"How did you meet them? First of how do you even know them?" Rohit asked inquisitively.

"I was going to ask that to too." Mahi Bhai said.

Virat was just there scratching the back of his neck sheepishly not wanting his secret to spill.

"Hurry up and tell us then we don't have all day!" Rohit whined.

"Umm.... well...." Virat spoke unwillingly.

One glare from Mahi Bhai and his way of saying 'Cheeku' threateningly made him speak up.

"Well you see I have this fan account and it's a fan club and I met them there." Virat spoke quite shy.

"Oooooh. I wanna see this fan club! Let me see!" Rohit exclaimed excited.

"Well you can't!" Virat retorted back feeling his cheeks going red.

"I don't care! I'm seeing it right NOW!"and he snatched Virat's phone of him and opened the fan page.

Shock was written all over his face and he was overwhelmed with emotions. Mahi Bhai took a quick peak at the phone and had a huge smile on his face. Virat could feel his cheeks getting warmer and warmer.

"Give it back!" Virat half shouted. He quickly grabbed his phone back because Rohit was numb.

"I told you he loves you." Mahi Bhai whispered lovingly in Rohit's ear and this brought Rohit back to his senses. 

He just engulfed Virat into a huge bear hug and whispered a sorry and Virat whispered the same while mahi bhai was adoring them.

"You have a fan page on my name?!" Rohit asked gleefully with tears in his eyes still in the hug and Virat just hummed as a response.

Eventually after Mahi Bhai's teasing comments they broke the hug and they left for Rohit's house.

Upon entering the house the kids jumped upon Virat mumbling their apologies over their sobs.

"We're extremely sorry Virat Bhai. We only wanted to surprise you!" Kuldeep sobbed.

"I love you Virat Bhai I won't ever upset you again!" Jassi sobbed innocently.

Harry just stayed in the hug too guilty to even speak.

Virat broke the hug and said

"Out of all these idiots I know you three wouldn't do anything to hurt me on purpose. I love you three too and Harry stop thinking that I'm going to blame you because I'm not."

This shocked Harry because Virat had just read his mind.

"I'm sorry." Harry muttered meekly and Virat just ruffled his hair as a response.

The others were too guilty to speak. Jinks finally mustered the courage.

"Virat...we're really, really sorry, man." Jinks spoke sorrowfully.

"Yeah Cheeku we're really sorry." Ash spoke miserably.

"Virat you know I love you just the way you love me. None of us wanted you to react like that." Guilt was layered in his voice as Bhuvi spoke.

Anushka just ran up to him and hugged him and he kissed her forehead lightly.

"Hey hey stop I forgave you all ages ago. I was just scared thinking that I lost you all forever." Virat spoke cheerfully.

They ended up partying and talking about what happened on the beach. That resulted in Jinks telling Rohit and Virat off for leaving them in the dark and complaining to Mahi Bhai. Neither Virat not Rohit wanted to tell them about the fan club and just wanted it to leave as a sweet memory between the two of them. Eventually everyone retired to sleep and that meant some sleeping on the floor and some on couches but nobody really cared. As long as they were together they were happy.

Before sleeping Mahi Bhai, Rohit and Virat were sitting in the bed talking when Virat yawned but neither of them saw the yawn but saw the tears and immediately asked him if he was ok.

"Guys I'm fine I just yawned😂!" Virat laughed. The other two joined in and it ended with Rohit saying that he was too tired to talk anymore. He took Virat into another bear hug and said sorry once again. Before Mahi Bhai went to sleep too he ruffled Virat's hair and whispered a small "sorry baccha," and left.

Virat was contended. His heart was happy again. A little weak now but he was sure that he would be back to normal very soon. He fell asleep between Rohit and Mahi Bhai smiling like an idiot. He was happy because they were all there together for each other.

When the team was together they would let nothing would break them apart.
