Stan is the most common monster, and he can be found in all the mazes. The easiest way to stop him from attacking you, is to just look at him. If you look at him he simply cannot move. It is pretty hard to escape him, as he just latches onto you.

 He will also make a loud screaming noise, which honestly kills your ears when he is attacking you. When you hear that noise, you have to run. Just quickly move forwards a bit, then turn around to look at him.

The First Method:

I'm not completely sure if this will work for everyone, as I have done it before, and it worked, done it another time he just killed me. But the first method is to go behind his back while he is on a angle, but you must be staring at him. And he just disappears off to find another player.

But just warning you this could get you killed. And he will come back after a while.

The Second Method: 

If you want to have him chasing you for the rest of the game, just walk backwards staring at him. He's gonna still be chasing you, and it's pretty annoying. But at least he's not gonna end up killing you.

The Third Method:

Look away from him. 

Then walk backwards and bump into him, let him make the scream noise, then run. This should get him to latch onto another player.

I personally hate this, because you hear the horrible scream. 

The Fourth Method:

This I find one of the best. And is simply to wing it. Yes you read that right. Simply wing it, do the second method but turn around occasionally to see who is in front of you, or just never look behind you, and eventually who gets bored of you, and looks for someone else. 

Now Stan will get more aggressive once you get closer to the end. Just beware of that.
