everly is one of the most calm and reserved people you'll ever meet. she tends to keep to herself. she's quiet, calculating, and analytical. she probably won't talk to you unless you approach her. even if you do try to talk to her, she'll keep her words brief, only saying what's necessary.

now, you may be thinking 'wow, this sort of seems like the most boring girl in the world', but that couldn't be further from the truth. while everly is quiet on the outside, she's anything but that on the inside. her mind is constantly working at the speed of light. she's one of the most intelligent people you'll ever meet. she's focused on her studies for her whole life, and she's basically read every book she could get her hands on. everly is an observer. she watches people and figures out everything she can about them from the way they talk, the way they hold themselves, the looks in their eye. she basically will try to figure out a person's whole being in one glance. while you think everly's gaze is cold and bored, usually it's simply curious and analytical.

to outsiders, everly is impossible to get along with. if you're kind to her, it will seem like she doesn't care. if you're sharp with her, she'll still seem like she doesn't care. the truth is, everly prefers herself to most people. she'd rather be alone with her thoughts and her books than in the company of someone else. you'd be surprised, but she does have a certain type of ego about her intellect. she doesn't mean to be arrogant, she just simply thinks that no one can match the constant activity that goes on in her mind. she thinks no one would be able to keep up.

so, yeah, you probably understand by now that everly comes off as an extremely cold and withdrawn person. you've probably already predicted that that's not the whole truth. everly, believe it or not, has a caring side. right now, the only people who have seen everly's caring side would be her parents, a few staff members, and her cat. seriously, though, i swear she can care for someone. when everly cares for someone, she'd do anything for them. she goes out of her way and becomes one of the kindest people you could think of. she might not talk much, but everly speaks through actions. if she knows you well, she'll go out of her way to do little things to make you happy or do something that will help you out. she's a quietly caring person. she often hides any affection she has, but it's there. she simply keeps it under control. in reality, everly is about as loyal as they come. it takes quite a bit for everly to commit to care for someone, but when she does, there's about nothing that can change her mind. she sticks by the very small amount of people she chooses to actually like.

that's everly for you. she's quiet, but there's really a storm going on in her mind. she's got wicked intellect, but she keeps it to herself. she keeps basically everything to herself, even her affections. will anyone be able to truly win this girl's heart?

OTHER

— everly adores her parents. they're the only close family she has, and she'd probably do anything for them. she works as hard as she does at her job as heir to the throne for two reasons: her parents and her duty to her country.

— next to her parents, someone named mae is everly's absolute favorite. mae just happens to be everly's cat who she absolutely adored. while everly is usually silent, you can catch her alone in her room babbling about her day or a book to her cat as if mae was a person.

— you probably wouldn't expect it, but everly has a secret passion for gardening. really, though, it shouldn't be too surprising, because gardening involves taking care of something. in the back of the gardens, hidden away by trees, everly has her own little flower garden that only she is permitted to care for. all the staff stay away from it, as well as her vegetable garden. it's her favorite place on castle grounds, and you can catch her sneaking away to it often.

— it's odd, but fruit is the way to everly's heart. she doesn't have a sweet spot for junk food. it's all about fruit.

— catch everly constantly in her office working or reading. it's basically what she does constantly.

— everly has a really odd fear of horses and ducks. they're just two animals she doesn't have a fondness for.

— because she's basically been studying and trying to be a perfect her whole life, this girl knows three different languages and can play piano

— catch this girl constantly writing down her thoughts or reading poetry. it's what she does. if everly thought she was capable of falling in love, she'd definitely write love letters.

— you've probably guessed, but this girl's never even kissed anyone let alone done more

— everly absolutely hates the idea of a selection. she doesn't want to get married and she really doesn't believe she's capable of romantic love. everly also believes that she'd be perfectly fine being queen without a spouse. unfortunately, everly's parents don't agree, so everly has been convinced to have a selection. you know about her plan though...
