if you asked natalie, she'd probably just say she was plain. she doesn't really focus on her looks too much. though, one of the first things you'll notice about nat is her sweet smile and warm brown eyes. she always seem to be rather calm and sweet. the girl's hair is a rather confusions mix between brunette and blonde, and she never knows which one to say she is. usually she just simplifies things by calling her hair dirty blonde. her locks fall down to her mid back, but you'll usually only ever catch her hair tied up in a bun.

natalie had a rather simple childhood growing up in belcourt. nothing much ever happened. she grew up in a quiet, sleepy town. she was raised by her two parents, ellis and martha skilton in a cute little family home. she was the middle child of three. she has an older brother, eli, and a little sister, anna. natalie never really felt like she fit in with her family. she never fit in with the world of threes she came from. both her parents were college professors, and both her siblings were pursuing academic careers. natalie was the opposite. the girl was scatte-brained, and she never seemed as smart as her family. the only time she felt like she belonged as a three was when she had a camera in hand. yep, that's right. she's into creating films. she always wanted to be a director from the moment she got her first camera. her family didn't take her very serious about this until she turned eighteen and moved into her own little apartment with her best friend. from there, she decided to pursue a career in film. the girl has been living her best life and entering festivals ever since then.

well. it's complicated. natalie is a complicated girl, so of course her reasoning is complicated. natalie had never really fallen for anyone. sure, she's had crushes, but she'd never felt love. now, don't get her wrong, she's pretty positive she won't actually fall in love with a prince at the selection, but she still wants to give it a shot. most of her reasoning for joining the selection besides that is sheer curiosity. meeting everyone from around the country and experiencing what it was like to live in the palace... that didn't sound too bad.
