To begin with, it is accepted that robots and modern machines have proved their significant roles in our civilized society. Robots have long been used in industry as well as improve our work productivity. In addition, some robots can perform many dangerous on complex tasks that humans hardly do such as working in extreme weather conditions or space exploration programs. They can also be used in surgery to save many lives and case the patients. At home, labour-saving   devices actually robots and they help us to have more free time to pursue our interests. It is also predicted that in the near future scientists and technicians can create more cutting-edge robots with many functions and their roles are increasingly important some people even think about to humans or share our feeling when we are in the bad mood.

As far as the second view is concerned, it is seems that this view is right in some cases. Firstly, it is accepted that robots need the power to supply to operate. It means that the use of electricity will rise when people use more robots and modern machines. The result is increasing pollution. In addition, human appear to depend too much on such machines for their life as well as their work and they cannot even work without robots. For instance, when there is power cut, all work in the factory has to be stopped. In an office, people will not work anymore when there are some problems which machines used commonly for their jobs such as computers, fax machines and so on. Moreover, as people use robots and machines more, they lost some their basic skills such as working with hand or even face-to-face communication. Another problem is that when those robots are not used any longer, they will be thrown anyway and this creates a huge amount of waste which is surely a terrible problem to our environment.

In a nutshell, robots will certainly be even more essential for us in the coming years. However, there are not totally free from problems and case need to know how to make full use of such tools to serve people.
