The Blue of Pinks
Ballerinas were so pretty to watch,
That's why I was always the tree
The little girls were fond of their tutus,
But I was comfortable in my dad's jackets

Society's appreciated ladies are peacocks
No thanks, already the elephant in the room
Balancing books on their heads in a poised manner,
How about actually reading them?

The way I walk is like a stomp
My feet would kill me if I stand on my tip toes all the time
Looking at me was like I was a boy
Do you see me or are you blind?

Those girls can taunt me all they want
While they sit still pretty, I stand strong
Because what's the real wrong?
Me being me or them being someone else.

In a world full of a crayon box colors,
There's many possibilities besides pink
Red, yellow, orange, black, white, but what am I?
A blue of pinks
