Reagan Jimenez' POV

I was busy studying the proposal of a merger with our company when my phone rang.

I saw my best dude's, Park So Young, name appearing on my screen.

I smirked when I saw how desperate he was.

He hung up the call and after five minutes, he called again.

I answered his call and put it on loud speaker.

"Anak ng teteng, dude! Bakit ngayon mo lang sinagot?" So Young complained and I could only chuckle.

"I'm busy. Bakit?"

"Mama mo busy. Shot tayo mamaya! I need youu!"

"Geez. Hindi ko alam, iba na pala preference mo. Kelan ka nagdecide mag-out?" Pang-aasar ko pa.

"Gago! Dali na! Alas onse mamaya sa  Hot Spot ha! Pag hindi ka nagpakita, ilalabas ko scandal mo." Pananakot pa nya.

"Tsss. Fine. See you later. " I sneered and hung up the phone.

I did my usual routine in the office and got out as soon as work hours are done.

When I got inside my condo unit, I pulled out my clothes and changed into more comfy ones before diving into my bed.

I did not bothered to eat dinner coz I'm still full from my late luncheon meeting with the board members.

I woke up to my phone ringing and swiped it right to cancel the call.

I realized that I overslept when I saw 28 missed calls from Park.

I went straight to the shower ignoring his calls.

I soaked myself in the bathtub and let my body rest.

After some time, I wore my usual midnight green muscle shirt and ripped jeans. I brought a leathe jacket in case it starts to rain.

I grabbed my phone and car keys and took off to Hot Spot.

When I arrived, I spotted Park with some of our old friends in a VIP lounge inside the bar.

We immersed ourselves into booze and music and engaged in a conversation.

"Nga pala, bro. Pwede mo ba ako tulungang maglipat ng ilang gamit bukas?" Park asked.

My forehead creased and looked at him as if he suggested to go out to space.

"Lilipat ka?"

He shook his head and drank his beer. "I'm helping my girlfriend's friend. I offered my town house for her to stay for a while."

"Huwawww! May girlfriend ka?" I laughed in disbelief and drank my vodka.

"Gago. Magiging kami din! Who you ka pag naging kami, tamo to!" Binatukan ako ni Park na iiling-iling sa akin. "Besides, may mga anak na yun. I'm faithful to my girlfriend."

"Now, this is getting interesting. " I grinned. "Consider it done. Text me the time and the address. Doon na tayo magkita bukas sa bahay nila."

Park grinned and clapped my back.
"Thanks bro! Alas diyes tayo magkita ha? Sa condo ko na lang tayo magkita para sabay na tayo pumunta dun."

Intrigued as I was we continued enjoying the night and separated at around two in the morning.

I called my driver, Ernesto, to get my pick-up truck and have it parked  in my second parking space.

Being one of the biggest shareholders of the company wherein this condominium I am staying at is its sister company, I was able to have two parking spaces and one of the best penthouses.

I arrived at Park's condo unit at around nine and drove to his girlfriend's friend's house.

I was mesmerized when I saw how beautiful she is. Her long light brown hair perfectly accentuated her small face.

Her smooth skin is glowing as she approached us.

"Thank you talaga, Park ha. Medyo marami-rami gamit namin lalo na yung kambal." Oh, damn! Even the way she speaks sent amazing shivers to my spine.

"Wala yun. Ano ka ba. Nga pala, best buddy ko nga pala, si Reagan Jimenez." Park said and I was really awestruck.

Park had to nudge me to shook me out from reverie.

I almost lost it when she smiled and looked into my eyes.

"Hello! Olivia nga pala." She extended her hand for a handshake but when I was to take it, two cute kids ran to her and hugged her legs. "Nako! Mga batang to!"

"Nice meeting you, Olivia. " I cleared my throat and she returned her attention to me while smiling.

"Mga junakis ko nga pala, Olga and Oliver." She introduced her two very cute offsprings.

"Hello po!" The twins chirped in unison.

I let out a smile and waved back.

"Tama na ang introduction, magbuhat na tayo dude!" Kantyaw ni Park sa akin at sabay na kaming pumasok sa bahay nila Olivia para magbitbit ng mga isasakay sa pick-up truck ko.

Weeks passed and we bumped into each other at the park inside their subdivision.

We got along well and I finally confessed to her.

She allowed me to court her and I was over the moon after the longest time.

Then Park So Jin, So Young's older brother, entered the picture.

That was also the time when I started getting so busy and almost have to stay for months abroad attending to business seminars and conferences.

With my business flourishing, I began losing time with her and the kids.

I get to home once or twice every two months at the most.

I also get to work as an endorser of a clothing line which makes me go around the country and sometimes abroad.

We see less and less of each other and when I can't take it anymore, I went home unnoticed to her.

I saw her and So Jin having lunch together with the kids at Jolibee.

I was brave enough to face and greet them.

The kids were even happy to see me.

I started investigating why So Jin became obsessed with her and found out that he is the kids' biological father.

From afar, I watched her fall in love with him.

I watched her having fun and even getting cozy with him.

I saw her smile with her eyes.

Yes, she laughed with me but it never reached her eyes.

I guess, the love which we felt for each other was platonic.

But it was I who fell.

Deep.

And, I don't know when I could come up from being drowned.

We talked and cleared things out for the last time at the place which our friendship started.

I brought her to the park and had a nice closure.

It was simple but heartfelt.

I would have given her my all.

But she was never mine.

I would have moved heavens and earth for her.

But she's not mine.

I would have loved her with all my heart.

But she's not mine.

I walked away and wished her well.

I know I'll find love soon.

Maybe, it's just not the right time.

I drew a deep breath and sighed.

It has been more than a year already and I stepped inside one of the condominiums I bought.

It was Green Heights, one of the highest towered condo in the metro.

Someone got my attention in her wide-rimmed spectacles and brown hair in a ponytail.

She was asking about the rent per month to the receptionist and I silently stepped out to avoid being seen by her.

Is this Shaniah Suarez?

The girl from college?

I smirked when I confirmed it was her.

Looks like my return will be interesting after all.
