I was feeding my kids when my phone rang.

"Hello?" I answered, the phone between my ears and shoulders.

"Meet me after an hour at the coffee shop across your house. " The man said.

"Ha? Teka, sino ba t'o?" I asked and put down my spoon and fork.

The twins looked at me and then returned to eating their foods again.

"It's me. Peter. We have something to talk about. See you later." Peter said and hung up.

I looked at the clock and saw that it's 12pm. I still have an hour to prepare and drop the kids at Odessa's house.

"Thank you, Des. I really appreciate this. " I said to her gratefully as she walked me out of her house.

"Wala yun. Sinu-sino pa ba ang magtutulungan kundi tayo-tayo din." Odessa smiled. "Sige na, baka hinihintay ka na ng asawa mo sa date nyo." She teased me with a wink.

"Loka! Balik ako agad." I laughed and waved at her.

Since, the coffee shop is only two blocks away, I decided to walk and save money.

I saw Peter's back from the glass window of the shop and looked at both sides of the street before walking across it.

"Hey. Did you just walk?" Peter greeted me when I sat down across him. I nodded. "What do you want? I'll order for you."

I told him I want a mocha frappe and he took off to the counter.

In just a matter of fifteen minutes, he was back with our coffees.

"Ayoko ng pahabain pa. Kaya tatanungin na kita, kailan mo balak sabihin sa'kin na anak ko sila Olga at Oliver?" Peter asked and I met his eyes in surprise.

"Excuse me?" I asked, irritably. I sipped my frappe before turning to him. "Saan nanggaling yun? At, anak mo? Sila?"

Peter placed a brown envelope on top of the table.

"See for yourself." He said and sipped on his iced macchiato.

Frowning, I opened it and what I saw drained the color off my face.

The report says that Peter is indeed the father of my kids!

And the specimens used were the twins' hair strands and his.

"Ha-how did this happened? Pano? Kelan?" I asked still dumbfounded as I stared at the truth in front of my eyes.

"We had sex. About five years ago. And then they came." Peter said simply. "Or do you want me to elaborate how this happened?"

"This is impossible! I didn't even remembered you! Hindi nga kita kilala! Tapos bigla kang susulpot para lang iclaim na anak mo sila??" I exclaimed and glared at him.

"Anong imposible? Anong hindi mo ako kilala? We even met at Singapore months ago! We probably met at one of the bars in Hongkong five years ago! Asan ang imposible don?!" Peter was almost yelling.

I halted when his frustrated voice silenced everyone at the shop.

"Look, Olivia. Willing ako tustusan ang pangangailangan ng mga anak ko. Just let me spend time with them. Ako na nagmamakaawa sayo." Peter said in a soft voice.

I was trembling. I always knew my tears want to fall down but for some weird reason, they managed to refrain from showing themselves to him.

"Please, Olivia. I'm willing to give up my riches just to be with them. Just let me into your lives. Let me be a father to them." Peter begged and his usual stern eyes welled up with tears. His voice was breaking as he speak.

I never wanted to make a scene but what I am seeing now makes it impossible.

"Fine. Let's talk about it on Tuesday. Just let me think. And give me some space." I said in finality.

Peter wiped his tears away and nodded now with a smile on his handsome face.

"I will be waiting for your call. Please grant my request." Peter said just as heavy rains fell.

"I have to go. My kids are waiting at home." I said to him, my voice quivering.

"Hatid na kita. Malakas ang ulan." Peter offered and stood up.

I didn't argue anymore and let him do what he wants.

I was silent on our way to our house.

"I will be waiting, Olivia."

Those were Peter's last words before he drove away.

I ran to Odessa's door and went to my kids to hug them tightly.
