With control of the Eyes of the World, the eyes that determine destiny, humans could choose their own paths. They awoke to their own identities. Man is but a reed, the most feeble thing in nature, but now we were thinking reeds, and we took our first big step towards grand prosperity. The inheritors of the eyes of Aesir had been granted the power of creation.
But the Right Eye of Light was lost from the world forever, along with its possessor, the last of the Lumen Sages."

Vega remembered those words from the language she thought was something she made as a kid but was a real language among both angels and demons like the fire spider demon Phantasmaraneae and the humanoid demon Alraune that had carried her frail body from the Technodrome as the two alongside the Turtles fled the ship

She still thinks at times that day was a crazy dream but is reminded every morning she wakes up by the various scars on her body from the Kraang experimenting on her for their Project Umbra and the two demons occasionally snoozing with her like they always had after their second summoning

It had been months since the Kraang's Invasion now, alongside Vega's recovery, the Hamato Clans celebration of their victory and Vega's Quinceañera for her sixteenth birthday which the Hamato's had joined as well and all seemed peaceful

But peace doesn't last forever unfortunately

When activity from the Kraang spikes and a ship from Dimension X arrives with boatloads of Mutagen the turtles immediately rush to take it down only during the fight for dozens of Mutagen Canisters to be spread across the entirety of Manhattan

Now Vega helps her turtle friends with finding and recovering every single canister before they wind up in the wrong hands

But with Foot Clan activity spiking as well, various mutations from the missing canisters already happening, a new human allie from Vega's school and even crushes bloosoming

Vega soon realizes what Project Umbra really was with the metallic shards of a broken relic surgically embedded into her very bones from the Kraang as the owner of the relic is a connection to the Spinner of Flame Phantasmaraneae and the Whisperer of Insanity/Dementia Alarune by the name of Cereza

[Author's Note: As of today, July 7th 2023, I am early publishing the prologue and cast chapter for book 2 in the Hamato series. I will not work on other chapters though until I complete book 1 Wings

I make no promises though on my publishing schedule due to me trying to get motivation to work on my drafts, trust me I can literally feel gears moving in my brain just trying to work on Wings (I honestly wish that was a joke, I can actually feel my brain with it) plus alongside dealing with my mental health, looking for a job that'll take an autistic person who doesn't have a driver's license or learners permit (I get anxiety just being a passenger in the car okay?) alongside my other fics, YouTube channel and trying to take care of myself
