Move, Izuku!

Despite the temporary braces Uraraka made for Izuku's arms, pain still shot through them and the rest of his fatigued body as he pushed forwards and forced himself to move. The sight before his eyes made him never want to see this again: Katsuki being dragged away from him and slowly disappearing through the portal that the villains were retreating through. He knew that if they took Katsuki, no one would know where he would be at next, but he was willing to let his body move on its own if it means he can save him.

Lightning flickered around Izuku as he summoned One For All and used the last of his strength to bolt towards the disappearing Katsuki, just fast enough to force his crippled right arm to swing forward, grab hold of the collar of Katsuki's shirt as he let out a painful cry at the crunch of his broken fingers, then use his body to swing the blond out of Dabi's hold and out of the portal. While he swung his childhood friend out of the portal, the momentum flung himself into the portal just as Dabi reached back through the portal to grab hold of what he thought was Katsuki, only to grab Izuku instead.

He's given just enough time to see the panicked and horrified looks of Katsuki and his friends before he disappears through the portal, with Katsuki and Todoroki especially reaching for him, and a small part of him hoped that they would be able to grab hold of him and pull him back to them, but that reassuring feeling never came.

Izuku could feel his consciousness finally slipping as the adrenaline swiftly drained out from his body from the use to OFA, and he could barely register the dimly lit bar room that the League resided in before his eyelids became too heavy to keep open. With his crippled arms throbbing in pain that was beginning to grow numb due to his fading consciousness, and his heart feeling heavy in his chest for now being the one captured, Izuku's mind slipped and he went limp, unable to keep awake for any longer. All while within the villains' hands.

Author's Notes: I've been really wanting to rewrite this story for quite some time now, as I don't like the old one, lol. I kinda forced myself to write this first chapter so apologies if it's sloppy, I just wanted to get it started before I procrastinated or lost interest once again. I hope that this one will be better than the last, as I tried my best to flesh things out more and to have better solutions to the original's issues. And just a little spoiler-side note, for both the future of my story and possibly the manga if you haven't read that far, I made AFO play more of a role in this story than before because of what happened in the manga with him and Shigaraki, and because I feel like it would fit his character more than Shigaraki. That and it just makes sense for AFO to want to get back at All Might rather than Shigaraki who at this point of the story (when the Forest Training Camp Arc happens), doesn't really start doing much of the bigger stuff.

I hope all of this rambling makes sense, lol
