Y/N

hey dumbass

i'm here !

can you see me?

where I can't see your face???

look up stupid

Alex raised his eyes just as you were frantically waving at him. You pulled your mask down to your chin so you're able to breathe.

He mirrored your wide grin and took your body in an embrace once you were in front of him. You hugged him just as tight as he hugged you. It felt quite relieving after those months of long distance. Voice calls and FaceTime just don't suffice, the physical touches cannot be topped.

"Have you ever washed your beanie? Smells so bad, dude."

Alex's smile was immediately wiped away and flashed into a blank look. You tried not to turn into hysterics in the middle of an airport but the tears are threatening to come out any second.

"This is what I get? I just got to see my girlfriend after like- 5 months."

"This is what you get for not washing your hat, you smelly."

Instinctively, he took your laptop bag from you to his right hand, while his left grabbed your hand. "I'm not smelly! I literally picked this beanie up from the dryer."

"Okay, smelly."

"I'm not!"

The two of you climbed inside of his car in comfortable silence. While he was driving, you were annoyingly taking pictures of his side profile and the streets you were passing. He told you this before, but you have just experienced what traffic was like in Mexico. (Spoiler: there were a lot of interactions from the people outside)

Before you knew it, Alex stopped the car.

"My parents aren't actually home right now, so you have a few hours to breathe." He chuckled.

"Thank God," you let out a sigh of relief. In all honesty, you wanted to meet his mom and dad, but the pressure can be kind of anxiety-inducing. You have a knack of trying to reach other people's expectations of you, trying to impress them. So when it comes to your boyfriend's parents, you have to give your all.

You followed Alex until the two of you reached the door. He gently opened it with ease and lead the way inside, waiting for you to enter until closing the door.

You smiled a bit upon seeing his house for the first time, imagining little Alexis running around the living room. You chuckled a bit when you saw the kitchen, remembering his pizza making stream which was a hilarious disaster.

"I'll take your bags, ma'am." Alex shuffled beside you and took your laptop bag and backpack.

You snickered and flushed slightly at the gesture. "Thank you, sir."

Alex flashed you a grin "You can sit down on the couch if you like," he said before retreating towards a hallway where the bedrooms were located. The couch looked comfortable so you might as well sit down. You continued observing the glass menagerie by the high shelf until you heard a very familiar meow!

You took a sharp intake of breath and looked down beneath your legs. "Tiger!" The pitch of your voice went up an octave higher as you leaned forward. You're going to admit that you were a bit scared of it when you witnessed the particular stream in which the exact creature had sliced the corner of Alex's mouth open so you have to be careful.

But from the looks of Tiger scratching its head against your ankle, it seems like it woke up and didn't choose violence today.

You began petting its head and the one spot behind its ear. You beamed upon hearing the purr from the cat. "Oh ho ho..." you muttered maniacally. "You like that, don't you."

Tiger leaned forward as its eyes remained closed while you continued scratching its ears. You lifted your hand a bit higher and felt satisfaction as you watched it follow. You withdrew your hand until it was situated on your lap, wondering if the cat would consider following.

It did.

Your brows lifted in surprise when Tiger suddenly jumped on the soft cushion beside you. You wondered if the cat was actually allowed to sit on the chair but you are too afraid to shoo it way.

It silently pawed at your hand. Wordlessly, he was seeking for your attention. "Oh my gosh." You breathed out, giving up and letting your hand rest on its furry head for much longer.

Tiger found itself getting on your lap and you are literally about to combust from the cuteness this fluffy ball provides. Like the look of this huge ass cat, heavy and big, all curled comfortably on your legs is a flipping blessing. You didn't want to move because it is quite comfortable as well. Plus, you didn't want to disturb the cat.

You continued petting Tiger because all his wish is your command. You owe your life to this little creature now. You would die for Tiger.

It is so fat.

You want go pinch its chubby little cheeks and take a bite out of those big tummies but the consequences might hurt a bitch, aka claws and fangs.

Admiring a furball was legitimately a task that you have to focus in. You have to comply very seriously. Just stare at the cat falling asleep, purring every now and then, their cheeks being squished against your jeans and their paws clenching and unclenching. It was absolutely really cute.

"Hey, babe, I just finished setting up your room so- holy fucking shit cute."

You looked up at Alex who was holding himself up by the hallway frame. "What?" You asked innocently, but the corners of your mouth are twitching upwards.

"What the fuck."

"What?" You whined, now slipping out a chuckle.

"You have no business being this cute, what?" Why are you so cute? And with Tiger? Oh my- shit-" Alex placed his hand on his chest where his heart was, clenching his hoodie. "I think I'm gonna have a heart attack."

You rolled your eyes, but you couldn't help but blush under the compliments he just thrown at you. "Stop. You're not gonna have a heart attack."

"Ugh-" he just groans, using both of his hands now. His knees were bent and his eyes were squeezed closed. "M-my heart..."

"You're so dramatic."

"Y/N, I'm dying of cuteness. Help me!"

"You're so fucking cringe, dude." You deadpanned.

"Shut the fuck up!" Alex exclaimed with a laugh. He walked towards you and laid down carelessly, situating his head full of beanie on your lap besides the furball which can be kind of dangerous. "Ah, I'm living the life." He muttered, placing his clasped hands on his stomach.

"Uh, won't he scratch the heck out of you?"

"Only if I'm loud, so... yeah."

You hummed in understanding before slightly grimacing at his headwear. "Why are you still wearing a beanie? It's so freaking hot."

Before you could manage to pull it out, he grabbed your wrist. "No!" He quietly whined. "I don't want to show you my hair. You have to wait a bit longer."

"Aww." You pouted, letting him release your hand. "No worries, babe, I'm still gonna love you, lice and all."

"I DON'T HAVE LICE-"

meow!

Tiger sprung out of your lap that it made the both of you jump. It gracefully landed on the carpeted floor and swiftly made its way to the other beds; which is everwhere.

You and Alex shared surprised looks before laughing at the incident. After a moment, he easily shifted to the seat the cat took earlier.

"What do you wanna do for the rest of the week?" He asked you after a minute of comfortable silence.

Your fingers began to play with the minority clump of hair that managed to escape out of the hat. Alex involuntarily closed his eyes at the sensation. "What I came here for. Ya know, stream, surprise your friends and fans, play games..."

"Sounds good." He sighed. He then hummed as if hesitating whether to ask this now or later. "You... wanna meet my mom and dad?"

The familiar anxiety came once again. You took a breath. "If you want me to."

"I want you to."

His immediate reply sent a flutter to your heart. "Yeah?"

"Of course, yeah. Why wouldn't I?"

You couldn't stop your mouth from smiling so hard. Your heart was beating so rapidly that you have to place your left hand to physically calm it down, while your other hand was still threading through his hair. You stared at his relaxed and peaceful expression. Eventually, you stopped hand-combing his bangs.

"Why'd you stop?" Alex spoke softly as he slowly opened his eyes and gave you a confused look.

"I wanted to give you something," you only smiled before leaning down and land a chaste smooch on his lips.

You pulled away and watched as his smile grew and his cheeks turned rosy. He even let out a short laugh. You loved watching the expressions he make after kissing him, and the 5 months of waiting was definitely worth it if you could get to see his eyes shine and his bashful grin.

"Wait. Y/N." Alex wore a mischievous simper.

"Yeah?"

"I'd like to return something of yours."

"Oh yeah? What is it?"

Before you knew it, he propped himself up on his elbow, held your cheek and kissed you back.
