Introduction:

Shubhmaan was sitting in the college canteen with his college bestie, actually she is more than a bestie to him, Jahnvi. Jahnvi said, "Maan that was an awesome knock played by you that day. Your knock that day shows that your inspiration is none other than Captain Kohli." Shubhmaan suddenly stood up with disgust when he heard Virat's name. Jahnvi said, "What happened Maan?" getting scared. Shubhmaan realized what he did and suddenly hugged her to comfort her. Shubhmaan pulled back, caressed her cheeks and said, "Anvi dekh tu h na mereko kisi se bhi compare kr lena lekin uss Virat Kohli se compare kabhi mat krna samjhi!" Jahnvi said, "Lekin kyu Maan?" Shubhmaan started saying... 

Past:-

A ten year old cute girl named Ayushi comes to Delhi. She takes admission in 5th standard and her brother Subhmaan takes admission to the upper kindergarten in Saviour Convent Pashchim Vihar. Another boy a very bright and an attentive student named Virat Kohli took admission to the same school in ninth standard with his sister Aishi, who took admission in Upper Kindergarten. Ayushi and Subhmaan were going to the school when some seniors come to their way, they were ragging her baby brother Subhmaan and she was trying to save her brother. Virat, who took new admission to the school in ninth grade saw this and went towards them the boys were from seventh grade. Virat said, "Why are you people ragging her and her baby brother? Don't you know ragging is a crime? I will report you all to the father." The boys ran away to their class. Ayushi said, "Thanks!" Virat said, "No need! A friend in need is a friend indeed. So Friends?" added "Virat, Virat Kohli!" forwarding his hand. "Ayushi, Ayushi Gill!", shaking hands with him. Virat said, "So are you a new admission?" Ayushi nodded her head to which Virat said, "I'm a new admission too! Where do you live?" Ayushi said, "I live in this locality only my house is just 10 minutes away from here." Virat said, "I'm also from this locality. After school wait for me, we will go together, okay?" Ayushi nodded her head agreeing to him. Virat bowed down to her baby brother and said, "What's your name and in which class you took admission in?" The baby Shubhmaan said, "My name is Shubhmaan Gill and I took admission in U.K.G."  Virat said, "Oh really even my sister took admission in U.K.G, Ashu bachcha go with him." Aishi and Subhmaan became good friends, they held hands of each other and entered the school gate while Virat and Ayushi entered the school gate with each other. Ayushi liked her senior a lot. 

After that Subhmaan and Aishi became best of friends and so as Virat and Ayushi. Virat was elder to Ayushi but still they were best friends. They knew each other so well that even they themselves didn't know. Virat used to play cricket and had a dream of getting selected to the Indian Team. 

After 2 years

Virat got selected for the under 19 team of Delhi. Ayushi, Shubhmaan and Aishi were too happy. Subhmaan was moved by Virat's selection in under 19 Indian Cricket Team so he also wanted to play cricket. Virat used to teach cricket to Subhmaan. Virat and Subhmaan now shared very good bond. In school Aishi and Subhmaan were famous and were known for their friendship. 

After an year Virat passed out his higher secondary and left studies for pursuing his career in cricket. But their friendship remained the same. This was the time when Virat first grew feelings for Ayushi. He knew Ayushi was only 13 years old so she won't be able to understand his feelings for her so he decided not to let her know about his feelings as he thought that it may effect his friendship with her which he didn't want.

After 2 more years (Virat's Father's Death)

Virat's father died of brain stroke. Virat broke down fully that day. A person who was more broken was Aishi, she was only 10 years old. The little girl was sitting like a statue, her father's dead body was lying in front of her but she wouldn't cry. Virat tried to make her cry many times but each time he failed. This broke Virat more and more as his sister wasn't crying. Suddenly Aishi lost her senses which made everyone in the house worried. Saroj(Virat and Aishi's mother) finally started screaming and crying more. Virat unable to understand what to do ran towards Ayushi, who was sitting in a corner to console the 10 year old Shubhmaan who couldn't bear to see his best friend like that. Virat kept his head on her lap and started crying bitterly. That was the first time Ayushi felt a jolt passed through her body, she ruffled his hairs lovingly with tears in her eyes. She picked his head up and kissed his forehead. Ayushi said, "Virat you have to be their support, Aishi is a baby, she is only 10 years you have to be strong, not for yourself for Aunty for Aishi. Shubhmaan ran towards Aishi and jerked her senseless body repeatedly. Shubhmaan said, "Aishi if you don't wake up I will break our friendship, I swear." The doctor came and checked her up. The doctor said, "Her little mind couldn't understand the loss so she needs something to which she is very much connected to." Aishi regained her senses, she was still sitting like a statue. Shubhmaan hugged her and tried to make her cry by crying himself but she was still sitting like a statue. Virat said, "I will play the match against Karnataka, tomorrow." Everyone looked at him with utter disbelief except Saroj and Aishi.
