The day passed away like that. Everyone was busy with their work. Some had gone outside to have meetings with their clients while others were working within the office premises. Avu had meetings as she was handling Akshit's clients now. Sid was also focused on the screen typing something while Hazel was sleeping with a cute pout on her face. Sid had covered her with his blazer so that she didn't feel cold. Though he was engrossed in his work, he kept his eyes on her. He was looking at her from time to time.

This time when he looked away from his computer and turned his face towards her, his lips curved up and a wide smile came on his face. She had woken up and was sitting on her knees rubbing her eyes with the back of her hands that were folded in small fists. She was scrunching her nose. His blazer was still wrapped around her. She looked around and immediately realized where she was. It was her favourite place after all. She ran her eyes to find him. As soon as she was, she got excited. Sid got from his seat and walked towards her.

He bent down and sat down on his knees on the floor in front of her. He kissed her forehead and rubbed his nose with hers.

Sid: Good morning baby

Hazel chuckled.

Hazel: It's eveing. Siddoo ko nhi aata. Haww

She said putting her small hand on her open mouth.

Sid: Achha nhi aata

He started tickling her. She was not able to control her laugh. His cabin which was filled with typing on the keyboard or turning of papers just a few minutes ago was now filled with laughter of that small girl. He finally stopped and let her take a breath. She calmed down.

Sid: Chalo abhi I am busy. Thoda kaam hai. Aap betho idar. Toys ke saath khelo. No shaitani. Okk?

Hazel forwarded her hand. Sid raised his eyebrow.

Hazel: Chocy?

Sid: Bass chocy khatam ho gayi. Aur nhi hai

Hazel: Nhi chocy laakar do

She was about to cry so Sid raised his hands.

Sid: Okk. Mujhe kaam finish karne do. Fir I will take you out. Tab le doonga. But you have to be a good baby till then. Okk?

Hazel nodded and forwarded her small finger.

Hazel: Pinky promise?

He intervened her small finger with hers.

Sid: Pinky promise

Sid got back to his work while she kept playing. Then he brought her chocolates. Akshit came out of his cabin for coffee. He heard Hazel's voice from Sid's cabin. He peeped in to see her laughing her heart out while Sid tickled her. He smiled and went to his cabin.

After some time, Avu came and took her. Sid also bid them bye and went to his home. They completed their daily routine and called it a day.

Next morning

Sid: Di chalo aa bhi jaoo na ab. Kya kar rahe ho?

He was shouting from the living room while Zalak was getting ready.

Zalak: Hnn aa rahi hu

Sid: Jaldi karo na yrr

Ram was busy reading newspapers so he didn't notice but his mother who was sitting on another sofa frowned.

Vibha: Itna bhi kya utaawla ho raha hai? Aa hi rahi hai. Aur saara din ek saath hi to kaam karte ho

Sid: Mom agar jaana hi hai to time se nikalte hai na. Poora din to mile enjoy karne ko. Aur waha to kaam karte hai

Vibha was about to say something but Zalak came.

Zalak: Chalo

Sid: Finally. Thank God. Mujhe to laga shaam tak nhi aaooge aaj

Zalak hit his arm.

Sid: Aapke ke lie konsa ladka dekhne jaa rahe ho jo aap itna tyaar ho rahi thi. Hnn?

He said teasing her.

Zalak: Shut up. Abhi late nhi ho raha?

Sid: Hnn chalo

They left pulling each other's leg while Vibha felt Sid's behaviour was a bit odd. Zalak rang the bell while Sid was parking his bike. Avu opened the door and smiled widely seeing Zalak. They greeted each other with a hug. Hazel came running from inside.

Hazel: Siddoooo

But she didn't find him.

Zalak: Hii Hazel

But she didn't reply as she was busy looking for Sid. Zalak and Avu understood.

Zalak: Baby Siddoo to aaj nhi aaya

Hazel: No he said to come

Zalak: Hnn but wo busy tha to nhi aaya

Avu: Hnn Hazel usko kaam tha to sirf didi aayi aaj

Her eyes teared up listening to them.

: Who is making my baby cry?
