Dan's POV
📱📱📱📱
Emma stayed the night and slept in the gaming room.

"Be right back I need to pick something up." I told Emma as I ran out the door.

-TS-

I closed the door to my flat behind me. I hid the present behind my back.

"Emma!" I yelled. No answer.

"I know you've been feeling bad. So I got you something!" I yelled. Again, no answer. I made my way to the gaming room. The door creaked open. There she was. On the couch. Eyes closed. A note next to her, an empty bottle of sleeping pills on the floor, and an empty water bottle. I dropped the present and ran to her side. I didn't know what to do. I grabbed the phone and dialed '999'. I gave them the information and waited for them to get there. My eyes made their way to the note. I hesitated but read it.

'Dear whoever finds me first,
You might be asking why. Guilt was catching up to me. The death of someone was on my hands. A life for a life, right? Just remember to give these messages to these people. Tell Phil he was like a brother to me. Tell Dan to move on. Tell Natalie to watch her back, and don't let anyone catcall you. Tell them all that I love them, even if I didn't show it. Thanks.' I shoved the note in my pocket. I took Emma's cold, lifeless hand and kept whispering;

"Emma ... don't go."

-5 days later-

Beep. Beep. Beep. The noise of the heart monitor was driving Dan insane, but it was the only thing he had to know Emma was alive. (A/N Sorry Galactic_Hitchhiker it was the perfect time for it). Dan paced around the hospital room as he waited for the doctor to give him the news. The doctor knocked on the door and Dan's head shot up.

"Everything is fine. If you would have found her a couple minutes later it would have been too late." The doctor explained. Dan sighed with relief.

"Although we do have to assign her someone to looks over her." Doctor James informed. Dan looked over at Emma, sadness in his eyes. Why would she do something like that? He continued staring at her unmoving form. He wanted to see her electric blue eyes full of life again.

"Who will have to look after her?"Dan asked.

"Most likely a personal nurse."

"No it has to be someone she knows."

"Do you want to look over her?"

"Um ... Does the hospital allow that?"

"As long as you check in everyday with records it should." Dan nodded.
