"Are you sure about this, Yoongi?" Aunt May asked in a gentle voice.

I chuckled, nodding my head. "I have never been so sure of anything in my life."

She sighed before holding up a small finger, rushing inside the small house before coming out a moment later, a picture frame in her hands.

"Before you continue..." she took a shaky breath. "I need to tell you something."

I hummed, growing increasingly anxious the longer I waited.

She turned the frame so I could see the photo. In it was a man, a woman, and a baby in the women's arms. I stared intensely at the photo, recognizing it from the house that I used to live before... well... everything happened.

"How do you have this picture?"

Aunt May cleared her throat. "I've wanted to tell you this whole time, but I wasn't sure how I was going to go through with it. This baby, as you probably can tell, is you. This man, is your father, and this woman-" she pointed to the woman holding my small body. "This woman is me. I-I'm your mother, Yoongi."

I shook my head, unable to wrap my mind around this. "No... no no no. My mother... I've seen pictures. She has a large scar across her thigh, shaped like a lightning bolt. Father always said it was from an abusive father."

She chuckled. "Your father would be correct." She bent down and pulled up the hem of her skirt, just enough to reveal the lightning bolt-shaped scar on her thigh.

"Oh my God."

"Yoongi, are you out here?" Hoseok chimed from the doorway, too anxious to come outside after the previous events.

"Yes, babe, I'll be right inside," I responded, once again facing Aunt May, the woman who now has proven to be my mother. "We'll finish this discussion later."

She nodded solemnly as I turned on my heel, going back inside towards Hoseok.

"Sorry about that, babe. Aunt May needed to talk to me about something," I explained as I kissed Hoseok's cheek.

He blushed slightly as he gave a slight nod of his head.

"Do you have a moment actually?" I asked. He turned his head and eyed me quizically before nodding again.

I grabbed his hand and brought him into our bedroom. Jimin and Taehyung had helped, decorating the space with freshly picked flowers from the garden. It was the best we could do given the circumstances.

Hoseok giggled as he eyed the different flowers, some in vases, others scattered along the bed and floor. I reached over and grabbed one off the bed and placed it behind Hoseok's ear.

"So, I asked Jungkook to do me a huge favor prior to leaving Auralia."

Hoseok hummed, still admiring the flowers, giving my hand a squeeze.

"And I have been waiting for the right time to use this as a surprise for you, and I feel like the time is now." I said. Instead of bending down on one knee, I took Hoseok's other hand, giving them both a squeeze.

"You are my sunshine, my light, my angel, my hope. You- My God, you made me feel like I was worth something. I was content with dying, until you became the reason for me to live once again. I-I'm no good with words, or expressing how I feel, but I really do love you, and I will until the end of time, if you'll allow me." My hand let go of one of his, reaching into my pants pocket and pulling out a small ring. "I-It's not in a box, I'm sorry. But it's a quality ring, and I think it'd look gorgeous on your left hand, if you agree to marry me."

Hoseok chuckled, small tears falling down his cheeks. He nodded aggressively before jumping into my arms, not even waiting for the ring.

"I would've said yes without a ring, Yoon! H-H-How did you manage to get a ring?"

I released a deep breath, feeling relieved he had said yes. I kissed along his hairline. "Honestly? When we were planning the last part of the escape plan, I asked Jungkook to steal some money from the palace and buy you a ring. I wish I could've picked it out myself, but it's better for me to have been in hiding, otherwise I wouldn't have had the chance to even be around you and propose."

Hoseok laughed, wiping his tears before leaning back and examining the small ring in my hands. It was a silver Tungsten ring, with a diagonal strip, full of blue and silver diamonds. The blue brought out the color of Hoseok's eyes beautifully, making me smile wider than I already was.

"It's beautiful. Jungkook did a good job." Hoseok said, slipping it onto his ring finger on his left hand. "We're fucking fiancès, Yoongibear."

I chuckled. "Holy shit, that sounds oddly satisfying."

Jungkook burst through the door, Namjoon behind him, clearly trying to hold the male back. The rest of the group, including Jimin and Aunt May, stood near the door as well.

Jungkook landed on the floor, quickly shuffling to get on his feet again. "Um, sorry. Uh, I wasn't eavesdropping, I swear!"

Hoseok and I laughed, holding hands while facing the group.

"It's okay, Jungkook. You chose a beautiful ring," Hoseok said, showing his blinged out hand to the group, who all cheered, even Jimin.

"Damn. I'm sorry I tried to kill you," Jimin explained, wiping a tear from his eye. "This is so sweet."

I shook my head, letting the group admire the ring and give us all hugs or head pats.

"Let's go, gentlemen! I baked a special cake for this beautiful occasion!" Aunt May clapped her hands, Jungkook's and Taehyung's eyes growing wide as they shoved everyone out of the way, running down the stairs towards the fresh cake.
