why do people value appearance so much?
why is your romantic preference any of anyone's business?
what makes them think they have the right
to ask you these personal questions?
a person's writing is the
greatest
most expansive
window to their soul
it reveals who they truly are
and tells you so much more than their speech could
speaking is not nearly as effective
as writing is
when it comes to people like me
and i say it all the time
but can't say it enough
words matter
words have power
words can uproot mountains
rip apart hearts
but mend them too
they can break things and heal them too
and that's what's so beautiful about them
a venom and an antidote
a killer and a lifesaver
words are so much more powerful
than people realize
