Gorilla Apocalypse

Tensions were already high in 2015. The massacre in America by gorillas did not help. When 'gorilla' was used in that sentence, it did not mean that gorillas were killed by humans, it meant that humans were killed by gorillas. To put it more specifically, they were killed by highly intelligent, gun owning, gorillas.

The gorillas became highly intelligent due to a serum that scientists had been testing on them. The serum was supposed to make humans smarter, but SOME genius just had to suggest testing them on gorillas. It was harmless at first until the gorillas started to rebel, break free, learn how to make the serum, take the serum, learn how to shoot guns, and kill almost everyone in the town the lab was in.

Thankfully, somehow all humans started to get stronger. An example would be if someone got shot in the arm, it would still feel as painful, but the damage would actually amount to a hard, bloody punch.

Gorillas would mostly target groups of people because their scent was stronger. The gorillas would usually have a set time that they would always follow when they went to try and kill that targeted group. The set times were most commonly known as,"Gorilla o'Clock." 

There was also one day each month when the gorillas would fall asleep for the whole day. These days had the most guaranteed safety where people could go out and gather materials and food.

The first day of living in the cave was cramped, smelly, and dangerous. After all it was a group of two preteen girls, five half dragon half humans, who knows how many teenagers, and one adult.

It just so happened that most of these people were from books. How did they all appear? One of the preteen girls, Lina was a writer. And writers could paint pictures from words, and transport a reader to faraway lands. Somehow in this weird apocalyptic world, Lina managed to make the book characters appear.

From Pyrrhia were the five half human half dragons. They still had wings, tails, and talons. Because they were half human they had the same stronger bodies now. The five characters were, Qibli, Winter, Moon, Kinkajou and Lina's OC Ocotillo the Sandwing.

From the Maze Runner was, Gally, Alby, Minho, Thomas, Brenda and Teresa.

The next group of teens were from Percy Jackson and the Heroes of Olympus. They were, Leo Valdez, Jason Grace, Piper McClean, Percy Jackson, Hazel Levesque, Frank Zhang, Nico Di Angelo, and Annabeth Chase.

The other preteen girl was Eri. Ron Weasley and Harry Potter was also there. The adult was the one and only.... ABRAHAM LINCOLN!

On the second day of living in the cave, they had got things more situated. They had cleared out more rocks and dirt to provide more room. Now there was lots of room. Whenever Gorilla o'Clock came by, the group would just hurl stones at the gorilla. They would aim mostly at its eyes.

"Stupid bloody shucking gorillas,"Newt muttered as he climbed up a mountaintop, not sure where he was going.

He did not expect a random young girl to suddenly talk to him as he walked.

"Newt!" Eri exclaimed,"Get in here before the gorillas kill you!"

Newt raised an eyebrow, "How do you know my name?"

"Do you know that you're a character in a popular book series? My friend probably summoned you with her magical author powers!" Eri replied.

"Wh-what? What are you talking about?!"

"Get in!"

"Seriously? Are you not concerned that I should be dead now? Or a crank that's going to rip your heart out?" Newt asked.

Eri moved the rock door out of the way and waved her hand as a gesture to go in and said,"Lina probably fixed that also."

"Um... Ok?" Newt said as he stepped inside.

"Ah, welcome to the club." Qibli said when he saw Newt,"Just a heads up, our Gorilla o'Clock is at noon."

Newt raised his eyebrow again,"Is that a bloody half dragon?"

"So you like the word bloody too!" Ron exclaimed.

"Sure," Qibli replied,"My name is Qibli though, not bloody half dragon."

"Ok..." Newt said.

"Woah. You've weirded out Newt. Quite the accomplishment." Teresa congratulated Qibli. 

"Can I kill the gorillas?" Gally asked.

Eri asked," Do you have a weapon?"

"... My fists." Gally replied.

"Gally that won't work." Thomas said.

"No. You will die." Qibli agreed.

"I could ask WICKED for some weapons." Brenda said.

"Those people are still here?!" Eri asked with a look of dismay.

Lina literally had flames in her eyes and yelled at Brenda,"NO EVERYONE HATES YOU LEAVE NOW BECORE I CAST YOU OUT TO THE GORILLAS!" Then she added,"And yeah WICKED is still here."

"NO! KEEP HER HERE!" Eri yelled at Lina.

Not paying attention to the drama from the two girls Newt muttered, "Dang, WICKED is still up and running."

"IT IS NOT CALLED BEING SKETCHY IT IS CALLED BEING A DOUBLE AGENT!" Eri argued.

"She is evil." Lina frowned.

Teresa glared at Brenda. Brenda glared back.

"A divided house is dead to me." Abraham Lincoln said as he walked into the room.

"Good mornin' Abe." Alby said.

"Listen to the man kiddos," Qibli said gesturing to Abe.

Noticing Newt's shocked expression, Abe also said,"Yes it is me. But do not worry. Booth is not here."

"Why is there a president here?" Newt asked.

Abe shrugged,"So? I should be dead and so should you, yet we are both still here."

"So bloody true. Fair point," Newt said,"But my question is, are there still those bloody cranks out there?"

Eri shrugged.

"If there are cranks that is even more trouble to deal with," Brenda said.

"Here Gally, have the gun I,ahem 'borrowed' from resurrected John Booth." Abe said offering the gun.

"KILL BOOTH!" Lina exclaimed.

"Thank you very much," Newt said and swiped the gun out of Abe's hands.

"Okay Gally you still have your fists. And I have already gotten revenge on Booth." Abe said.

"Yeah! Good job Abe," Lina said and high-fived the former president.

"Haha!" Newt chuckled,"That's payback for acting insane Gal-"

But he was interrupted by the roars of a gorilla. They hadn't realized it had been so close to noon.
