Heya!

I couldn't wait till next week to post this chapter. Plus I am busy the whole weekend (exams) so that's a reason too. Yay lucky me! (Note the sarcasm)

The picture of the twins above. Dove Cameron as Amaya and Lucas Till as Rafael. I know they don't resemble but still...

Anyways, on to the chapter

Enjoy!

___

TJ knocked the door of her new dorm room. She prayed that her roommate was not some bitchy, self-obsessed bimbo who has mirrors all over the room.

"Hi!" A cheerful voice greeted her, and TJ looked up and saw a beautiful blonde girl smiling widely at her.

"Hi," TJ greeted unenthusiastically. "This is 301 right?" TJ asked, and the girl nodded with a grin.

"You're my roommate?" She asked and TJ nodded, adjusting the strap of her camper bag. "Oh my gosh!" She exclaimed, and hugged TJ. TJ was too stunned to know what happened. "I have a roomie!" She exclaimed, "Come on, why are you outside?" She said, and dragged TJ inside excitedly.

What was up with this girl? TJ thought to herself, why was she so happy?

"This is your bed and your closet, and this is mine. Sorry about the mess, I'm used to having the room to myself," The girl said with a sheepish smile, and TJ looked around. The room wasn't messy, not like her room was. The room was big and spacious. It had 2 single beds, not bunk beds which TJ was grateful for. There was a closet on the side of the bed, and one single bathroom.

"It's fine, less mess than I make in a day," TJ said as she dropped her camper bag on the bed.

"I don't mind the mess until you keep it on your side," The girl said with a serious expression, opposite to what TJ saw when she came here, and she looked at the girl with a weird look until she laughed. "I'm kidding" She giggled.

"Oh...kay," TJ said with a low whistle. "I'm TJ von Stein," She said extending her hand, and the girl took it cheerfully.

"I'm Amaya Le Doux, and I know who you are! You introduced yourself in the ceremony!" She said cheerfully. "Oh, can we be friends, it would be awesome if we are friends. We could go to classes together, and eat together!" She said cheerfully, and TJ raised her eyebrows at Amaya who was grinning widely. It seemed like she was already dreaming about their friendship. Wow, this girl is weird.

"Uh...sure. I don't really know anyone here so it would be cool to know someone," TJ said casually, and Amaya jumped and clapped her hands.

"Ohmigosh, ohmigosh! We could be best friends! I'll even show you the places to hang out!" Amaya said cheerfully, and TJ couldn't help but smile at the girl. She was a beautiful girl with glossy, wavy blonde hair, and attractive green eyes. She was shorter than TJ, maybe a 5'3" but she wasn't that short. She was cute all in all.

"Yeah, of course," TJ said with a slow nod, and Amaya clapped.

"Oh, have you got your uniform?" She asked.

"No, not yet. I'll get it tomorrow, with the books" TJ said, and Amaya looked happy.

"Oh, can I help you customize your uniform? It would be fun!" Amaya said, looking at TJ with puppy eyes, and TJ sighed. "Yay!" Amaya shouted with happiness, and TJ just shook her head as she dragged all her stuff near her bed.

Amaya helped TJ unpack, and TJ thought that even though Amaya was too lively for a person, she was a good friend. The closet was bigger than TJ thought. It would almost qualify for a walk-in closet but it was a bit smaller than that. There were places for the books, clothes and everything else TJ could think of. There was a study table inside the closet. Amaya told TJ that she could take it out, and place it wherever she wanted. When TJ asked why she didn't get hers out, Amaya said that she was too lazy for homework and studying. If she wanted to study, then she would do it on her bed. TJ just laughed at the girl.

Although Amaya was a tad unbearable because of her cheery attitude, TJ liked her. She was glad Amaya was not the bitchy types.

"So, Amaya, what powers do you have?" TJ asked Amaya as they finished unpacking, and dragging the table outside.

"I can control people's emotions," Amaya said, and TJ looked at her roommate with surprise.

"Really?" TJ asked, really curious.

"Yep, but it's not always good," Amaya said, and for the second time TJ heard her serious voice.

"What do you mean?" She asked.

"You see emotions are really powerful things. If you can control how a person feels, you can practically make them do anything you want," Amaya said with a smile, but her smile disappeared suddenly. "But all this is too hard, and I can't even control my own emotions. I am super happy one moment, and I am crying the next. I have been like this for my whole life, and that's why I don't have many friends," Amaya said sadly, and TJ kept a hand on her shoulder.

"No, you have a friend, and you don't worry, mate. We can work on your powers. I have plenty to learn as well," TJ said and Amaya smiled at her.

"Thank you!" She said and hugged TJ who patted her shoulder awkwardly. Nope, still not a hugger. "Oh, what can you do?" Amaya asked.

"I can open portals," TJ told, "But I have no idea how that works. I just found about them recently," TJ confessed.

"I think you'll do a good job doing that. Now let's rush, it's supper time!" Amaya said in a sing-song voice, pulling TJ out of their room towards the cafeteria.

The cafeteria wasn't what TJ expected. She expected something like she saw at her school, but here she stood contradicted. The cafeteria looked like a dining hall in freaking five-star hotels. It was sophisticated, with tables and chairs covered with table cloth, placed throughout the big fancy tiled room, and a buffet table in the corner. There was no lunch lady, but there were waiters along the buffet table, filling the dishes as the food seemed to end in them.

"What the actual fuck," TJ muttered under her breath as she entered the room. It was noisy with the chatter of the students which was the only normal thing TJ thought in the sophisticated room.

"Come on, or there won't be any pasta left for us!" Amaya tugged TJ's hand pulling her towards the buffet table.

"You have pasta for dinner?" TJ asked incredulously. The only pasta related thing they had in school was spaghetti with meatballs, and those meatballs were made of rubber, really.

"Yes," Amaya said as if it was so obvious that school served pasta to their students.

When they reached the table TJ's eyes widened, there were two varieties of pasta there, and a separate one for vegans. 'What the actual hell!', TJ thought. There were soup and bread, and garlic bread.

"Look! It's donut day today!" Amaya said, clapping her hands and TJ thought she was at some restaurant and not a school cafeteria. They had freaking donuts!!

They served themselves and picked donuts; chocolate one for TJ and rainbow sprinkle for Amaya. Boy, TJ thought, with this food, she won't ever want to leave this place, like ever.

On their way to their table, TJ's foot slipped on the spilled punch, and her plate and she fell backward. Amaya grabbed TJ's hand, stopping her from losing her balance, but it was too late for the plate, as the food was already spilled at the person behind them.

"Aaah!" The person screamed, they turned, and Amaya gasped.

The cheese pasta in TJ's plate was all over a girl's clothes, with her own plate too against her chest. TJ wanted to laugh at the scene, but the look on the girl's face made her repress it.

"You!" The girl screamed, and TJ noticed that the whole room was now silent.

"I am so sorry, my foot slipped. I'm really sorry, let me help you," TJ said, feeling sorry for the girl. She was wearing an expensive looking dress, and TJ knew how much girls loved their dresses.

"Stay back!" She snapped back with a dangerous scowl on her beautiful pale face.

"I'm just trying to help. I'm so sorry I didn't realize there was something spilled here," TJ tried to console the angry looking redhead in front of her.

"You did it on purpose!" Her red lips formed into a scowl

"Dude, why would I do it on purpose? I'm new here. I don't even know you," TJ pointed out calmly, was this girl that dumb?

"Now you are calling me a dude!" She snapped angrily, "Listen to me, new girl, you will pay for it soon," She said in an angry low voice.

"I told you, I'm sorry. Do you want me to dry clean your dress for you now? Let me help you get the food off," TJ asked, trying to be nice, but this girl was not helping at all.

"I don't want your dirty hands near me, get the hell away from me!" She screamed and stomped out of the cafeteria.

"TJ! This is really bad!" Amaya said as TJ walked back to the buffet table.

"I know right. I have to get the food again," TJ said coolly.

"This is not a joke, TJ. That's Emilia Naxxremis you dumped your food on!" Amaya said worriedly as TJ filled her plate again with food.

"So?" TJ said as they walked towards a table. By now the room was back to noisy, and some kids were giving TJ a weird look.

"Come on, this way," Amaya said with a sigh. She looked very worried, and TJ was confused why. Honestly, TJ could take care of herself, if this Emilia girl was like the Queen B at her previous school, she would have no problem taking her down.

Amaya led her to a table in the corner of the room, as they approached TJ saw a blonde guy sitting there with his head down looking into his tablet, while the fork in his hand which was filled with pasta was in midair .

"Raffy," Amaya called, and the boy looked up. He looked almost like Amaya, same glossy blonde hair, but with blue eyes, and specs, unlike Amaya. There were also light freckles on his face if you look closely.

"Amy," He said with a grin as his eyes fell on TJ, and he squinted his eyes at her for a moment.

"Raffy, this is TJ, my new friend, and roommate," Amaya introduced, but Raffy's eyes were still squinted.

"TJ this is Rafael, my little brother," Amaya told TJ and Rafael or Raffy looked at his sister with a questioning look.

"You're not older than me. We're twins!" He pointed out with an annoyed sigh.

"Yes, I am. I am whole 5 minutes older than you. Say hi to her Raffy, it's rude!" Amaya said as she and TJ sat down.

"Hi TJ, I saw what you did there. Are you scared?" He asked and TJ frowned, why would she be scared?

"Why would I be scared? Does she eat humans or something?" TJ asked and Rafael laughed and Amaya giggled.

"No silly. She's one of the most powerful Enchanters here. Most powerful in the batch," Amaya said, worry appearing in her voice.

"Okay, whatever. I can take care of myself. She doesn't even know what I can do. I bet she won't mess with me. All she knows I can make bombs," TJ said nonchalantly as she ate her food. "Nice to meet too, Rafael," TJ added, and Rafael smiled.

"You can make bombs?" Rafael asked, finally eating his food, keeping his tablet aside.

"No, I can open portals," TJ said and saw Rafael's eyes widen. "What?" She asked him.

"No...nothing," He said shaking his head. He was one weird kid.

"So what can you do?" TJ asked Rafael.

"I'm a Technopath," Rafael said proudly and TJ furrowed her brows at the word.

"It means that he can manipulate the binary digits. The technology and everything connected with it. Radio waves, electronic signals and make gadgets and software too," Amaya explained with a smile.

"That is so cool!" TJ exclaimed, and Rafael grinned.

"Thanks," He said, and they all went to eating their food.

"So are you into video games and shit?" TJ asked once they were out of the cafeteria. Somehow everyone was still giving TJ weird looks because of what happened with Emilia.

"Nah, video games are for children. I play in simulation," Rafael told her and TJ was interested.

She liked what she saw in the simulation room. If Dean wasn't throwing stuff on her, it was kind of a video game live.

"You mean Call of Duty in the simulation room?" TJ asked and Rafael's eyes lit up. Finally, there was someone who understood him.

"Yes! Any game you name it and we can play in the Sims," Rafael said with a big grin.

"Oh my gosh! Can we play?" TJ asked. She loved video games or more like Asher loved video games. The only thing TJ liked to play was Mario Kart on her X-box. While Asher was more into Call of Duty, Counter-Strike, and Assassins Creed. The only thing they played together was GTA, but TJ would sit with Nat and Asher, and watch them play.

"Yeah, sure! You're awesome!" Rafael exclaimed with a wide smile.

"You both can play, but tomorrow," Amaya said strictly, "It's 9 already, Ms. Thorton won't like us roaming the in the boy's dorm this late. It's not allowed," Amaya stated, and TJ and Rafael groaned.

"Don't tell me you follow rules," TJ groaned again and Amaya nodded. "Well, I don't," She added with a smirk.

"It's your first day here TJ! First the accident with Emilia, and now you want to break the rules! You'll be in trouble," Amaya scolded her, and TJ grinned shamelessly.

"Puhlease, I am the troublemaker. Go to Riverisle, and ask anybody. Everyone knows that I don't follow rules, or is afraid to mess with anybody," TJ said with a proud smirk, and Amaya huffed in annoyance.

"Hey, what if we do this tomorrow? After class? I'll keep whatever game you want to play already set up, so no time would be wasted," Rafael suggested, and Amaya clapped with happiness and hugged her brother who wrinkled his face, and pushed her away gently.

Boy, she really did have to work on her powers, she had too many mood swings under a minute.

"Alright. But I don't care how tired anyone is. I want to play Call of Duty," TJ said as Amaya giggled and Rafael just smiled.

After they reached their dorm TJ was restless, she hadn't seen Asher since she said goodbye to her parents and he didn't even talk to her.

"Asher?" TJ called in her mind.

"Yep" Asher replied, and TJ sighed in relief, she was scared if she lost Asher.

"Where were you?" She asked as she changed into her night clothes.

"Just roaming around. That Emilia girl was pissed, but don't worry she's harmless," Asher told her.

"Can I see you?" TJ blurted.

"I don't think so Annie, your roommate is still awake, and I don't want her to think of you as some lunatic who talks to herself," Asher said making TJ smiled.

"Ugh, I don't care Asher. I want to see you. After today, I feel like I truly am some lunatic," TJ said with frustration as she brushed her teeth.

"You are not crazy Annie, but okay. Just wait alright?" Asher told her, and TJ nodded her head.

As she came out, TJ saw that Amaya was already asleep, the light on her side was switched off, and TJ sighed. TJ lied down on her bed, and switched off the lights, making the room pitch dark.

She felt her bed dip and turned to see Asher's silhouette, who was now preparing to lie next to her. TJ smiled and made a place for her boyfriend, and turned to face him as he faced her.

"I missed you," TJ whispered softly.

"I know, I missed you too, but you made friends," Asher pointed out and took TJ's hand in his. "Listen to me, Annie. I know there would be a time when you would be frustrated, and can't see me, but remember this, 'I might not always be there, but I am always there'," He said and TJ realized that there was nothing she could do to stop loving Asher.

"I love you," TJ whispered slowly and softly. She leaned towards Asher and kissed his forehead slowly making Asher grin widely.

"I love you more," He said, and kissed her nose as their foreheads rested against each other.

Asher wrapped his arms around her, and TJ did the same as they slept peacefully in each other's arms.

Drama, drama! I wanted a catfight but that wasn't possible in any way.

Did you like the twins? I know this chapter didn't give away any mystery but there are many chapters to come. Can Asher get any cuter? Believe me, yes he can :P
