Your POV 

I clenched my fists as I drew in a deep breath. I had to calm down, I had to stop shaking, I had to play it cool. I was walking over to Doc's rather quickly as I tried to calm myself down. This happened every once in a while and when it did I would drop what I was doing and go over to Doc's. He understood how to help. How to calm me down. 

I did everything but walk up to his door as I fumbled with my keys. I dropped them and sighed shakily. "Shit" I mumbled before I bent down to pick them up. I managed to unlock the door and stepped inside. I bit my lip as I felt my heart pounding. My hands were still shaking. I slipped my shoes off as I went to sit in his chair and pulled the blanket over me. 

It didn't take long for Doc to walk in and see me. He walked over quickly as he sighed gently. He picked up the top of the blanket that was over my head as he knelt down in front of me. "Look at me" he said before I looked at him hesitantly. He smiled a little as he looked at me. "Will you come out?" he asked and I shook my head before he stood and picked me up. He sat me on his lap as he sat in his chair. He grabbed his paper and opened it as he sat there with me on his lap. 

He let me lean into his chest as he read his paper. He hummed lightly as he read. I closed my eyes as I listened to his humming and his heartbeat as I stayed still. He often did this if he knew that I wasn't going to be moving anytime soon. It got me to calm down rather quickly when he did it. 

After some time he folded his paper up and wrapped his arms around me as he rested his chin on my head. He rubbed my back a little as we sat there. He stood after I calmed down completely and held me. He put me on the couch before he ruffled my hair a little. I smiled gently before I grabbed his hand. He looked at me as he tilted his head before he knelt down and looked at me. I leaned forward and kissed his cheek before I hugged him. 

He hugged me back tightly before we heard the door slam open. He let me go and stood. "Doc! Have you seen (y/n)? She ditched school earlier and I haven't seen her" we heard as we saw Marty turn the corner. He sighed gently as he saw me. "What happened?" he asked and Doc put his hands in his pockets as he looked over to me. 

"Just my anxiety" I said as I pulled the blanket closer to me. They sat down on either side of me before they hugged me. I rose a brow as I looked at them. "I'm fine you two" I said.

Einstein ran into the room and jumped up on us. I hugged him as he laid on me. I leaned on doc as he was behind me as we sat there. I rubbed Einey's ears as we sat there.

"Are you boys getting hungry?" I asked as they nodded and smiled. I stood and rolled up my sleeves as I went to the kitchen. I stopped as I heard a car door slam. Doc rose a brow and stood as he went to check who was outside.

I heard yelling and went to check who was at the door as Marty met me in the hallway. "Where is she? I know she's here" I gulped as I knew who it was. Marty put a hand on my shoulder as we watched doc step outside as the arguing continued.

"She's not going anywhere with you. You've done more than enough to her." We went to the window to watch as Doc walked towards the guy as he pointed at him. "I'll have to ask you to get off my property before I call the cops" he said.

The guy looked at me and Doc noticed as he reeled back and punched the guy in the face. He narrowed his eyes at doc as his nose bled. He got in his car as he held his face before he sped off. Doc shook his hand as he watched him drive off before he came inside.

I grabbed his hand as I looked it over. Marty followed as I dragged him into the kitchen for some ice. "That was insane! Where'd you learn to throw a punch like that?" Marty asked. I glanced at doc who sighed gently.

"It's a long story. But I want to know how you know him" he said as he looked at me. I bit my lip before I stood. "He's, an ex of mine" I said and they looked st each other before they growled a little. This would be interesting
