Your POV

It was 1931. My family and I moved to Hill Valley, California only about no more than a mere month ago. Adjusting to the move was rather simple. I didn't have many friends, so all I had to do was keep my head down and stick to my studies and everything would go smoothly. That was until I was in the court yard on Saturday morning.

Sitting on a bench that over looked the gazebo I kept my nose in my book as I glanced over to a tall redhead that came out of the court house. Shaking my head as he walked by I looked at my book and continued reading.

"Excuse me, Miss?"

I looked up from my book to be met with none other than that redhead. He wore a vest and a bowtie as he held a couple law books in his hands.

"Yes?"

"Pardon the interruption, but I wanted to infer onto what you were reading" he said as he glanced to the book and then back to me.

Closing it onto my lap I looked at it before I looked up to him. "What about it?"

"That wouldn't happen to be the book 'From The Earth To The Moon' by Jules Verne? Would it?"

Looking at it as I smiled gently I nodded. "It is, have you read it?"

He sat down next to me as he held the books on his lap. Nodding he looked at me and grinned. "Read it? I admire Jules Verene."

Turning to have him I smiled sweetly. "I don't believe we've properly met, I'm (y/n) (l/n). And you are?"

Looking at my hand he stretched his arm out to meet mine and smiled gently. "Emmett Brown. It's a pleasure to meet you Miss (l/n)."

Smiling I let his hand go as I folded them onto the book. "The pleasure is mine, Mr. Brown."

"Tell me, what's your favorite book by Jules Verene?" he asked as I thought for a moment and smiled. "I have a couple favorites that I like the best. So far, my top favorite would have to be '100 leagues under the sea' Dr. Nemo is a wonder to behold."

He smiled wide as he looked at me. His eyes gleaming as if he were a little boy. "Mr. Brown? What is it?" I asked as he looked at me.

"I've never met a woman who liked Jules Verene before" he said as he looked up at me. Blushing gently I smiled and looked at the book

"I've never met a man like you before" I said. He smiled as his ears turned a light shade of red with his cheeks. He stood for a moment before he turned to look at me. "Correct me if I'm wrong, but do you like science?"

Looking up at him I nodded and smiled. "I do, why do you ask?" he looked around as he bit his lip for a moment. "Can you meet me here tonight, say around, midnight?" he asked and I blinked gently as I looked at him.

"Whatever for?" I asked as I stood. "I'll show you when you get here, just please. Tell me you'll be here." he said as he looked at me. His brown eyes seemed to be begging for me to agree. I nodded gently. There was something about him that I couldn't place. He smiled wide as he looked at me. "You won't regret it, Miss (l/n)." he said before he ran off to the small law firm by the soup kitchen. Looking to the building I hummed gently. Whatever did I get myself into?

~Later~

Walking down the street in the crisp night air I looked around as I sighed gently. I had snuck out of the house and if my father found out about this he would surely be furious. He would probably give me the worst lecture I've had in my life. About how a woman should never sneak out to see a boy, or how that this isn't something a young lady should be doing.

Shaking my head I turned the corner by the police station to see the gazebo. There were a couple of lights around it as I walked up to it. Looking at the lights I noticed that there was a control console on the gazebo and a rather odd car on in the grass. Tilting my head as I went to examine it I jumped as I heard a voice.

"You made it." Turning around I saw the redhead from before. He smiled as he stepped around the gazebo rails and walked over to me. Grabbing my hand gently he looked at me. "I want to show you something" he said as he pulled me to the gazebo. With a hand on my lower back he started to tell me what he was doing out here so late.

Looking at him I smiled gently. He glanced over to me before he blushed gently and grabbed the remote control off the console. "Do you want to do the honors?" he asked. I looked at the remote for a moment before I looked at him. "We can do it together" I said and he nodded before he pulled me to the rail of the gazebo. Handing me the controller I held it before I looked at him. He stepped behind me and looked over my shoulder as he put his hands over mine.

He flicked the switch on the remote to turn on the car and smirked as we watched it. It took off before it spun around in circles. He hummed gently as he looked at it. Letting me go I watched as he slammed his fist on a button and turned off the machine. It fell onto the roof of the soup kitchen and I watched as he ran his hand through his hair. Sighing deeply he looked over at me. "That was"

"A disaster" he said as he shook his head. "I was going to say that was amazing." he turned to look at me as he smiled wide. I stepped over to him as I looked up at him. He pulled me closer to him as he looked at me. "Since I met you this morning, I haven't been able to stop thinking about you. I've always thought that love at first sight was romantic nonsense, but I think I fell for you"

Blushing deeply I looked up at him. Feeling my heart jump a couple times I smiled as I was on my tippy toes to kiss him. He looked at me for a moment before he blinked. He leaned down as I went back to a normal stance, with my hands on his shoulders. He kissed me back and smiled gently.

"I feel the same, Mr. Brown"

"Mr. Brown is my father, call me Emmett"

"Well, Emmett. Please, call me (y/n)."

"Well, (y/n). That's a beautiful name, fitting for such a beautiful young lady"
