Your POV

I walked into the small library at the Hill Valley high school as I looked for a certain Martin McFly. I found him and walked over to him before I put my books on the desk as he looked at me. "I'm surprised that you showed up." I said as he smiled shyly. "I thought about it but Doc knows about my grades and told me that if I wanted to go on anymore trips with him I would have to get my grades up." he said.

I hummed gently as I looked at him. I sat down and leaned back a little. "You talk about this "Doc" quite a bit. Is he a friend of yours?" I asked as I opened a textbook and my notes from class that day. He nodded. "Yeah. I've known him for a while." he said as I glanced at him before sliding my textbook over.

He sighed gently as he looked at it. "If you would have done the work when you were supposed to rather than running around with this Doc character, you wouldn't have to play catch up now." I said as I smirked. He glared at me and I chuckled.

"What is it Martin? Something you want to say?" I asked as I tilted my head. He looked at me and sighed. "For the last time, call me Marty." he said and I rolled my eyes. "Whatever you say McFly." I said as he started doing the work he should have done months ago. I looked at him before he stopped what he was doing.

"Why did you agree to help me anyway?" he asked and I hummed gently. "Can't have Jennifer Parker's boyfriend get held back because he doesn't know how to do his work like he's supposed. But I'm beginning to wonder if that Doc person is a bad influence." I said and he rose a brow. "Bad influence? Now you sound like Mr. Strickland. How about I introduce you two after we get out of here?" he asked and I shook my head.

"If you can get the chapter done in the next hour, I'll consider it." I said and he nodded before he started working. I grabbed my Shakespear book and started reading as he worked. I was torn from my thoughts not too long after as he was done. I put my book down after I folded the corner down and looked at his work. I rose a brow.

"How did you get done so quickly?" I asked and he smirked. "Don't worry about it, get your stuff and let's go see Doc." he said as he stood up and grabbed his stuff. I grabbed mine quickly and caught up with him. "Why are you so eager for me to meet him anyway?" I asked. He glanced over to me as we walked.

"I want you to see how good of a person he is. Everyone that I know think that he's a bad influence but he's a pretty cool guy. Little crazy but you gotta love him." he said and we turned the corner as we could see his house. We walked up to the house and he hit the garage door before the door opened showing an older man with unruly hair walking hurriedly around the garage as he mumbled to himself.

I looked at Marty and he smirked before he caught the older man's attention. He turned around and took the goggles off as he looked at the younger man. He furrowed his brows as they talked before he looked at me. He took off the goggles and threw them on the table next to him before he walked over to me.

"Good afternoon, I'm Emmett Brown. But everyone calls me 'Doc'" he said as he held his hand out. I took it slowly as I shook his hand, glancing over to Marty who was leaning on something that was covered with a tarp.

"I'm (y/n)" I said and he smiled before he looked at Marty. "This is the girl that tutors you?" He asked and the boy nodded. I looked at the two and tilted my head.

They looked to me and smiled "Wanna see something cool?" He asked and I rose a brow as they pulled the tarp off of a DeLorean? I looked at the two. "A DeLorean? Really?"

They looked at each other and nodded. "Wait until you see what this baby can do" doc said as he opened the door. I moved as he pulled it out of the garage. I glanced to Marty who was smiling. The car had a lot of wiring and other mechanical mumbo jumbo on it.

Doc got out of the car and looked at us before we got in. "This car is really a time machine. When did you want to go?" He asked as he flicked on the dash that showed our date and a date that it was previously at. I looked at Marty who nodded happily.

"I've always wanted to go to the wild west" I said and smirked a little. Doc punched in the date as I watched. October 22nd 1885. I smiled a little wider as we sped off into the street. I looked at Doc as he glanced over to me.

"When this baby hits 88 miles per hour, you're gonna see some serious shit"
