I was hurried up with him as they basically carry me to the fort.Questions rush threw my head as  we continue moving.Shots still echoed in the distance.

Once we enter they sit me in the a chair and they hurry and get a doctor.Once one man comes over and asks if I was ok I answer the question with another question "where's my fiancé?"

He looks down and lays his hand on my fragile shoulder and says "he's been captured;I'm sorry."

He slowly leaves and tears come not long after.

//A month later//

"I can't believe you have no idea where he is!How come you haven't looked harder?"

My lady we have but,the war is continued and gotten chaotic!

"More important than you leader; and if you have forgotten My fiancé !"

I point my finger to the door.

My heart raced and my eyes began to fill full of tears.

I haven't slept since he left.My heart still longing for the man that protected me my whole life in the colonies.

My head ached thinking of the last day I spent with him.

I slowly walked to the window of the study the room where I spent his last days in.

The door creaked open and a servant said "lady a letter!"

I turned and proclaimed "from who!"
