"I still don't see why you like soccer so much, Sakuma." Y/n told her best friend.

Y/n was a very feisty girl, but somehow she'd become best friends with Sakuma Jirou.

They were sat in class together, and since the teacher had gone, Sakuma moved his chair to sit with his best friend. "What? Y/n, soccer is awesome! I still don't see why you find it boring." Y/n wasn't a huge fan of soccer, and Sakuma was, so more often than not they would argue over it. "Whatever, eye patch boy." "Hey! I'll have you know my eye patch is very fashionable, hmph." "Keep telling yourself that. I'll tell you what, I'll come to your practice today, and I'll try seeing soccer how you do. I still think it's boring though." Sakuma grinned. "Finally! You never come to my practice, so I never have you to cheer me on. You will today, won't you?" "Hell no. That's your boyfriend Kidou's job." "Y/N!" "Oh I'm sorry, I meant to say your sweetie pie, lovey dovey, sugar, honey bun." "I hate you." "Love you too, eye patch boy."

"Hey Sakuma, who's this?" Kidou asked. "Oh, this is Y/n. She's the one who thinks soccer is boring." "Oh, then if she finds it so boring, then why is she here?" "I'm here cos eye patch boy wouldn't stop pestering me." Y/n spat. She didn't want to be there, and this boy with dreadlocks and goggles seemed like a major snob, so that didn't help. "Y/n, be nice!" "No no, she's alright. Tell me, Y/n, why do you dislike soccer so much?" "Because, goggle boy, its extremely boring. You kick a ball around some grass with other people and try and get it into a net." Y/n mocked. Kidou simply laughed. "Well then, we'll show you just how interesting it can be. Is there any other reason you dislike it?" "Well, snobs like you don't help." "Y/n!" Kidou frowned at this. "Kidou, maybe Genda should handle this?" Sakuma asked. "Yeah, sure. Genda! Come here!"

Y/n POV

I watched as the snob called over a tall boy in a goalkeepers uniform ran over to us. He reminded me of a lion. "What is it Kidou? Oh, who's this?" He had a really deep voice as well. "This is Y/n. Mind telling me your name?" I spat. "Woah, someone's feisty. I'm Genda. Sakuma, I'm guessing this is your soccer hating friend?" "Yeah, this is her. She's here to try and see if soccer is interesting. She's been here for 5 minutes and she's already pissed of Kidou, so we thought you'd be better to deal with her." Genda grinned. "With an attitude like that, I'm not surprised." I glared at him. "Okay, Sakuma, I think I want to leave now." I turned around and started to walk off, but Sakuma grabbed me and pulled me back again. "Oh no, you decided to come, I won't get a chance like this again." "Sakumaaaa!" The boys laughed and I have never wanted to punch anyone so much in my life. "Fine I'll stay, but for the love of God get off me!" I wrenched myself from his grip. "Okay, go sit over there and watch the game." Sakuma directed me over to a set of benches.

About halfway through the game, I was done. "F*** this I'm leaving!" I thought. Making sure no one was looking, I quickly got up off the bench and ran towards the exit. I heard yelling behind me and rolled my eyes. "So much for no one looking." I exited the soccer pitch and ran towards the school building. I got inside and went to the nearest empty classroom. I ran inside and shut the door, ducking under the window. "I think she went down there." I heard Kidou's voice and then several footsteps passing by. "Hehe, idiots." I said to myself. I sat down by the wall, and rested my head against it.

CLICK!

I froze when I heard the door open, and I heard a deep laugh. "I thought I'd find you here. You need to find a better spot next time, Y/n." I groaned. "Genda. I should've gone somewhere else." I looked up at him. He grinned and sat beside me. "Hey, it could've been worse. I'm not going to give you away to the others." "Thanks, I guess?" He laughed. "Not so feisty now we're on our own, are you?" "Hey, I could kick your ass if I wanted, don't underestimate me!" "Oh? Is that so?" "Yeah!" "Aw, you're actually pretty adorable when you're worked up." I blushed. "Wha- mph!" Genda had kissed me, catching me completely off guard. When he pulled away, I was bright red. "You... Why.... Huh...?" He laughed. "I couldn't help myself, your the cutest girl I've ever seen. If you keep looking so adorable, I might have to kiss you again, by the way." He stood up. "Genda..." "See ya round Y/n. And keep being feisty, it makes you cuter." And with that he left.
