Hi guys!

So, as everyone knows, the Ramayan anime doesn't have any Lakshmila. It doesn't have any Urmila, actually. 

The grievance! The horror! The terror! NAUUURRRRRR-

But the art is beautiful, and despite anime drawings not being my style, I kind of wanted to do fanart to see what Lakshmila would be like if it were in the anime. 

So I kept the character design of Lakshman the same, and I tried to study the physical characteristics of other female characters in the anime to get a better idea. 

This drawing is kind of from the Roaming with the Fishes chapter. It also took me a few weeks, but I barely worked on it, so it's not very complex. 

It's not complex at all.

It's literally just shape shading. 

No effort.

But still, I hope you like it!

Let's all collectively choose to ignore the little lines and coloring out of boundaries and instead focus on how Lakshman's skin is dark purple (??) Yeah, that wasn't supposed to happen, but oh well. Sets the scene. 

There's Urmila in her signature (??) coral sari, and Lakshman in his (Ram's) favorite maroon. 

And of course, Urmila is decked out in jewelry in the middle of the night, because that's Urmila for you. I'm kind of projecting onto her now. Because if I had that much jewelry, you best believe it would be on 24/7. 

So yeah.
