Virgil walked into the living room, eating cereal directly from the box without much of a care in the world. He was sauntering about the house, searching for Roman so that he could bother him because:

One, he could. Two, he was bored. Three, he could.

Roman was sitting on the couch, drawing away in his favourite red sketchbook. Virgil was about to go tap him on the shoulder, when something else distracted him.

Roman wasn't the only one in the room. Patton and Logan were also there. But, they were sitting on the floor, backs to each other, both with a mixture of hurt and frustration on their faces. Overall, pretty crestfallen.

Virgil leaned over Roman's shoulder and whispered. "Hey, Ro?"

"Yeah?" Roman asked, looking up from his drawing.

"Why are Logan and Patton sitting like that?"

Roman looked over at the pair on the floor. "Oh, they had a fight." He said.

Virgil frowned. "Then... why are they holding hands?"

Sure enough, although the two were making a scene of not looking at each other, their hands were behind them. One was holding them up, the other was entwined with the other's, resting on the floor gently.

Roman sighed a little. "It makes them sad when they fight."
