Personality: Emilia has been raised to be a Queen. That being said, she doesn't necessarily come across as a natural leader. She is intelligent and has strong beliefs, but she's also rather quiet and timid. That means that, despite having such beliefs, she doesn't always outwardly defend them. She tries to be as kind and compassionate as she can and wants nothing more than to make her kingdom and her late parents proud.

Backstory: Emilia is the only daughter of the late King and Queen of Myria, meaning that, after their deaths, she was the next in line. However, she thought her coronation would come at a much later time than it did. Her parents died in a very short span of time of a mysterious, deadly illness. So Emilia has been thrust into the role of Queen before her time. She wants to please her subjects and advisors, but some of the things they think are best for her are things that she heavily disagrees with. The most pressing of which is that her advisors think it wise that she find a husband quickly. A man to rule by her side. Unfortunately for Emilia, she does not harbor romantic feelings for men and same-sex relations are outlawed in her kingdom, which means she is in a rather unpleasant situation.
