Emre's childhood wasn't/ isn't exactly happy or normal, but she never really had to feel that way thanks to her imaginary friend who protected her through everything

Emre's father is totally out of the picture, and also the reason for most of Emre's misfortune. Because her mother started drinking and became a drug addict. Now, luckily for Emre, her imaginary friend cared for her from the moment she was born. They told her to close her eyes when her mother was taking a new shot, or they played with her while her drunk mother was screaming and raging over her own misfortune. Everyone who saw Emre talking, playing, and listening to nothing thought that it was just the way she processed her mother's situation.

Sort of. Emre would have been way worse, both mentally and physically, if he wasn't present. But she would also not have had the feeling that she's different and crazy.

Emre is probably one of the most wholesome beings walking on earth. She always wants to help, even though she's only 6 and can't do much, and she will always consider everyone her friend. She doesn't understand much, and her IQ is average, but she always tries and has enough perseverance for 2. The little girl might be a bit naive and not very courageous, but that's okay given that she's still so young. Emre tries to be as mature as she can be and will probably always be the better person (as in the expression), but she's still a child and acts like one.

Appearance
Achlys is fully made out of black shadowy stuff that can change shape. His favorite shape however is that of a large monster that can be best explained as looking like a Chimaera (minus the goat head). He can also turn into a human, and then he often looks like a tall male figure. He is tangible, touching Achlys is just like touching any living being.

Behavior

Achlys' behavior is kind of like that of a wolf who just got pups. He's beastlike but at the same time also very caring, especially towards Emre. He's definitely intelligent and often helps Emre at making the right choices. Not only that, but he can be playful, and he has enough patience to care for a very naive 6-year-old. Responsible is also one of his rather good characteristics, fiery is one of his bad. Achlys is always on edge and never relaxes, ready 24/7 to protect Emre, only relaxing when she demands him to. He'll rip everyone who comes a little bit too close to her to shreds, and he'll do it with a smile on his face.

 Does it have powers
He can change shapes, and he can also increase his "strength" (ex: he can run faster in his chimaera form than in his human form)
