PERSONALITY

Selene looks brave on the outside, but she is actually very insecure and has immense trust issues. At first glance she might look hard and serene but in reality she is soft and helpful. She thinks very low of herself but not a single hair on her head would think about ever admitting out loud that she also has her insecurities.  Selene doesn't have many friends due to her trust issues but instead of crying about it she just moves forward. She absolutely hates dramatic people and people who tend to overreact always despite being quite emotional herself sometimes.  Selene got lucid nightmares and is almost ashamed of them, she never told anyone she had them (except water of course). Selene will most likely avoid conversations and such with everyone except water and fire. She's (as you may or may not have guessed) not exactly the social butterfly and doesn't really find the need to talk to anyone. Selene is very thrilled to get better. Not that she is the perfectionist, Selene just want to be good. She doesn't really feel the need to be the best but on the other hand she hates to lose. Selene is clever and lowkey kinda intelligent. She is also extremely brave and once she trusts you she will take a bullet for you.

BACKSTORY

Selene was quite the happy girl when she was young. She just didn't worry and was immensely carefree growing up. Her best friends where her brother and his best friends. When she was 6 she started going to the "big girl school" and that's  where all her problems started. She was doing excellent for her age and her parents noticed that. They began to favor her and choose her over her brother. Putting more and more weight on her shoulders. Then Selene didn't get why they were doing that but later on she would slowly get to see how her parents neglect her brother and try to make her the "perfect" daughter. When it first hitted her how unfair they were against her brother it was already too late! Her brother already hates her and her parents are way too far gone in the delusion of their daughters success to actually get how they are forgetting their son. Selene then tries everything to get her brother back, and in the beginning it looks like it's working. Her brother starts to talk more often to her and he starts smiling again when she enters the room. All those little things give Selene the courage to go farther and her brother then invites her to one of his secret hangout places. But when she gets her he isn't anywhere near the building. Masked men then get to her and beat her to pulp. Since that night is Selene coping with severe trust issues while still trying to be perfect to satisfy her parents. Something she severely fails at. The more she "fails" the more her parents get angry. When she got the opportunity to go to (I'm not very sure if the name of the school is Alfea as in the films or Magix the title of the book so yeah) [insert right name] she made an agreement with her parents that she wouldn't ditch the opportunity if they weren't going to check on everything she does and if she can be just who she wants to be and not some perfect girly girl.
