After the whole Byungho situation, Jieun and Yin decided that they shouldn't stay at his tattoo parlor anymore. They quickly left and started to look for new places to work at. It wasn't long before someone reached out to them. He was so impressed by their previous work that he immediately hired them.

Jieun and Yin both adapted pretty quickly and customers were flooding and were delighted with their work. Many people were coming in wanting to get their work tattooed on them.

Today was a bit slower than normal. Jieun was chilling in her own space as she scrolled through her phone. Only one other customer was in the shop being tattooed by someone else which left Jieun free.

A popup on her phone got her attention. Changbin texted her, asking if she could tattoo something else on him again. With her being so free, she agreed. The male said he was on his way and Jieun started to prep for her upcoming customer.

It was only about ten minutes later that the male came walking into the shop. A bright smile was plastered on his face.

"Your new place looks amazing," he said.

Agreeing with him, she had him sit in the chair before asking where he was wanting this new tattoo.

As soon as she asked, his face grew red. He went silent and looked away for a few moments before replying with, "I want it right here." He pointed to the right side of his chest.

Before starting the process, she had to prep his skin. The male slipped his shirt off as Jieun stare at his toned body. His biceps were ripped with muscles while his upper chest was all very toned. It was down to his stomach where a little belly peeked out.

"Stop staring," Changbin blushed. Realizing she was caught in the act, she diverted her eyes away and gathered her tools.

Something about this tattoo felt different. They weren't strangers anymore, so it felt weird to be working on Changbin's chest.

"What are you wanting to get?" she signed to him.

He began to describe the design he wanted. It was going to be much more than the music note that was on his arm. She showed him some of the designs that she's drawn before and had him pick out the one that he liked the best.

"That one right there is exacting what I wanted," Changbin exclaimed. His eyes started shining as soon as they saw the sketch.

Getting the stencil ready, Jieun carefully placed it on his skin, trying hard not to allow her eyes to trail down. For this session, it felt more awkward as Jieun was almost on top of him as she was working on the tattoo on his chest.

Jieun's hands were barely touching his skin, trying to be a little respectful towards the male. She tried to focus on the design, but her eyes kept wandering up to look at the male's face but quickly went back to focusing on the tattoo when she saw that Changbin was watching her.

"When is your surgery date?" Changbin asked, trying to fill the silence.

"It is actually coming up soon," Jieun responded. "It is terrifying to think about going under and learning how to speak again."

"It is going to be scary to finally fix the problem you've been living with most of your life. But just like you've learned to live through it before, you'll learn to regain your voice back and communicate with others," Changbin encouraged her.

She felt very touched by his response and pulled the male into a hug. He was surprised by the action but wasn't going back out from the affection. She tried to not touch the work she has already done, as she felt his warm embrace.

"Thank you,"  Jieun signed.

Getting back to work, the outline was only about halfway finished. There was still much more to get done. But as time was passing, the piece was really coming together.

"How is the pain?"  Jieun asked.

"It isn't that bad. There is a slight pain that I notice much more than from my arm," he replied.

As a joke, Jieun moved her need a little closer to the bone to get a reaction from the male. He finched a bit and gave her a glare. He wanted to rub the tender part, but Jieun slapped his hand out of the way.

"How dare you?" Changbin sneered. Giving a slight smirk back, she went back to focusing on the tattoo again.

Time was going by fast as the outline was completely finished. It was time to work on the shading. This should go by much quicker than the outline as the outline has a lot of details.

"How did you start tattooing?" Changbin questioned.

"As a child, I was drawn to art when I lost my voice. It was a way of speaking without actually talking. During my time as a teenager, I was a little bit of a rebel and decided to become a tattoo artist while my parents wanted me to go to college and be something more."

"You were a rebel teenager? I find that hard to believe." His eyes grew wide as he watched her sign.

"There is much more to me than you know."

"Why don't I learn more about you then?" After Changbin said that, they stared at one another before Jieun freaked out and then back to focusing on the design. Changbin was flustered too and diverted his eyes away to stare out of the windows that were on the other side of his chair.

Jieun couldn't stop thinking about those words that he said as she kept stopping her gun as her mind was buzzing around with different thoughts.

'What does he mean by that? I mean we are friends and it is normal to get to know more about people you have a friendship with. Maybe I'm just overthinking it?' Jieun thought to herself.

As time was passing, it became less awkward working on Chanbin's chest. They were having conversations or Jieun was helping him perfect more of his sign language. Some of her co-workers were glancing over at the two having a good time.

"You're doing it all wrong," Jieun complained as she was watching Changbin trying to sign different words.

"What do you mean?" Changbin laughed as he kept purposely signing the wrong thing.

She set her tattoo gun down and grabbed his hands and moved and folded them in the correct position. Changbin watched in shock with a tint of red on his cheeks.

"Oh, so like this," Changbin smirked as he then signed the correct words.

"You're frustrating,"  Jieun huffed. She crossed her arms over her chest.

Changbin only laughed at her behavior but started to complain when she wasn't working on his tattoo. He received a glare from her before she grabbed her tattoo gun and started to work on the tattoo again.

After hours of hard work, the tattoo was coming close to being finished. Black ink was stained all around half of Changbin's chest. Jieun was shading in the last little piece before setting her gun down and proclaiming that the design was finally finished.

Changbin sat up from his chair and moved over to look at his new tattoo in a nearby mirror. A beautiful yet terrifying dragon was now permanent on the male's chest. It was very detailed and the shading only made it look real as if it was popping out of his chest.

"Now get over here so I can place it in a covering," Jieun said as she dragged him back. She placed the saniderm over the tattoo so that nothing would touch the freshly marked skin and cause an infection.

When it was time for the payment process, Changbin got a certain look on his face.

"What is it?" Jieun asked he leaned up against the counter with big eyes and folded his hands together.

"Is there any way that I get a friend discount?" he pleaded.

"Oh, I didn't know we were friends," Jieun teased him.

"You're mean to me," Changbin whined and crossed his arms. "I can't believe you're treating me like this."

In the end, Jieun was just a little bit nice and lowered the price for the male. Changbin most likely didn't need a discount, but Jieun doesn't mind as they are close friends now.

"I'll make sure to be there whenever you get your surgery done," Changbin exclaimed. "Just text me the exact date and I'll surprise you."

"Well, it isn't going to be a surprise anymore," Jieun stated.

"You don't know when I'll show up."

Finally, she just had to chase the male out of the shop before he could cause any more ruckus.
