The sun peeked through the windows in the parlor. Hardly any customers had come in today. Most of the workers were chilling around, keeping themselves busy.

Yin knocked on the door as Byungho's voice rang out for her to enter. She turned the knob and slipped inside. She gave him a flirtatious smile and went to go sit on his lap. Byungho greeted her with a kiss on her lips.

"What is it, dear?" he asked as they pulled away.

"I was wondering if you would come tonight to our busking event? It'll be at Hongdae again."

Byungho frowned. "I don't know if I could make it. I'll try to go if I can. If not, we could spend tomorrow together."

Yin crossed her arms over her chest and puffed out her lower lip. She always knew his answer. Every time she asked him, it was always the same thing. Her heart would always drop whenever he gave her a reply.

"I'll do my best, I promise." He gripped her chin and moved it up to his face. He planted a quick peck on her lips, trying to make Yin cheer up a little. It didn't work anymore.

Yin got off his lap and scurried out of the door. She immediately went off to find Jieun. Having her here was a real comfort to Yin even if she never told her.

Jieun sat there waiting for Yin to enter. It was like she already knew what the female was coming in for.

"Let me guess, Byungho isn't going to come to watch us tonight," she signed.

"I ask him every time, does he never have time to watch us perform during the evenings? What is he even doing during those times anyway?"

Yin flopped down into the chair next to Jieun. Her arms were still crossed over her chest. She would only make eye contact with the floor as she ranted to the other female.

"We've been together for so long now and he hasn't ever come to watch me perform. He does take me out the next day for a nice dinner, but that isn't what I want anymore."

She glanced over to Jieun but she only nodded, unable to interrupt the raging Yin anyway.

"He has to be doing something while I perform, but I have no idea what."

Yin always would vent about Byungho on the days of their busking events. It would be the same thing over and over again. Jieun was always the one who would sit and listen to her. Over time, she became really good at listening to Yin since it happens all the time.

"I'm sure he just gets busy after work. He does own more than one tattoo parlor," Jieun reminded her.

"I guess he could. I don't know how all of that works out anyway. We normally meet up out of our place or we'll just stay at our apartment."

"Have you ever been over to his place?"

Yin thought for a second, trying to think of any time Byungho had brought her over. "There was one time I went over there. He wasn't answering any of my calls or texts for a few days so I stopped by to see if he was alright. That day he got so angry at me."

Yin had to unlock her eyes from Jieun. She couldn't see the horror that that incident left her on the inside.

"I've never seen that side of him. I guess I just wanted to forget about it."

Jieun didn't move her hands at all. She seemed to be in deep thought about what Yin just told her. Even she was having a staring contest with the floor.

It was silent for a few seconds before the bell of the door rang. Yin leaped on her feet and made her way to the counter to greet the customer.

"How may I help you?" she asked.

"Do you take walk-ins or do I need to schedule an appointment?"

"We're actually not that busy today, so we can take you in. What are you wanting today?"

He rolled up the sleeve of his arm as he pointed to an unfinished tattoo on his arm. It almost looked like a torn muscle, but the detailing was done with a minimum.

"My person left me before it was done. I was hoping someone could finish it."

Yin took a closer look at the ink on his arm and smiled. "No problem. I could totally clean it up and add any small details you're wanting."

He sighed in relief and filled out the consent forms and paid. Yin brought him to the back and prepared the arm for the needle. She did a quick sketch of her plan and made sure he approved of her design. He immediately expressed his joy for the design as Yin got out her black ink. She pulled out her gun and began the process of layering the ink on her skin.

He didn't seem to be in too much pain. His gaze was focused on the tattoo coming to life on his arm. Yin could see his eye enlarging as she worked.

It wasn't too long before the tattoo was finished and really looked like his arm was torn. The bone was visible as the muscle was ripped open.

"That looks too awesome. Thank you so much," he thanked as Yin applied the safety wrap around his tattoo.

"Don't get it wet and certainly don't take off for two weeks. I don't want you getting an infection."Giving her a thumbs up, she explained more of the safety precautions and he walked out as a happy customer.

Jieun popped out with a smile. She pointed up to the clock above the door mentioning that both of them were off work now.

Yin nodded and gathered her things. She stopped by Byungho's office really quickly, saying goodbye. She walked out arm and arm with her friend.

They joined the crowd pacing down the sidewalk. All of the familiar shops and markets they passed to reach their destination.

The streets were bustling today as most of the people were getting off work and heading home to be with their families or hang out with their friends. Jieun and Yin were no different as they walked up to the café Beom worked at.

Pushing the door open, the bell rang signaling their arrival. Beom was rushing to the back as she added the finishing touches to a coffee.

"Hello," she waved and turned back to the counter behind her.

"I forgot to text you that we were on our way," Yin told her.

"No problem. I figured by the time that you would be getting here soon. I'm just finishing the last one and then we can leave," Beom said as her hands were full, unable to use her sign language for Jieun.

They watched as Beom gathered the remaining ingredients for the drink. She mixed and poured the right amount of each until the drink became a medium brown color. Stirring it just a little bit more, she placed the lid on and gathered the other two cups, and set them in front of her two friends.

"Let me clock out and we'll leave," she signed to Jieun before she disappeared to the back of the building.

It took only a few seconds for her to come back. The other two had already begun to suck their caffeine. Beom joined them and they joined the flood of people that maneuvered on the sidewalk. They latched onto one another's arms, hoping that none of them would be pushed away.

They stopped on the curve and waited for a taxi. It didn't take long before one scooted next time them and they all filed inside.

"I'm texting the others that we're on our own way," Beom spoke while tapping her phone screen.

"Do you think Yeojin will come in with the outfits again?" Yin questioned.

"She never disappoints. I'm surprised that she hasn't taken up a bigger fashion gig," Jieun signed.

"Maybe she doesn't want to become too well known and then she wouldn't spend any time with us." Everyone laughed at Yin's comment.

Paying the taxi driver, they headed over to their designated location. Only Chaewon and Sumi were there. They waved to the arriving members.

"You're here early," Sumi jokes.

"We didn't have a busy day today," Yin told her.

They started to get ready with their makeup. Bein worked hard as more and more members showed up. It wouldn't be too long before Yeojin, being the last one to arrive, come with all their outfits for the event.
