"Dad, where do babies come from??? "

I was six year boy at that time, so I said it with authority as any boy at my age show. When something gave the kid to wonder then the kid try every mean to know about that thing. I was curious about it.

"What's it, where did you learn that??? "My slightly annoyed dad asked me. The smile of my Dad was gone off replaced by uncomfortable uneasy and awkward funny feeling.
My dad was trying to neglect the question, but he knows that I was not going to let it away easily.

"I was reading this book, there is sparrow with their babies and I was wondering where do the babies come from" I asked in a sing song voice.

"The babies come from Mom" My Dad tried to neglect the question.

"I know that, but how did they get into Mother Tommy"

"Why can't we talk about it tomorrow??"
My Dad tried again to neglect the question.
He was feeling uneasy.
But when he saw that this was making me, his child, sad then he said
"OK, I'll go to explain in the night, promise, now I've to go to the office"

The eyes of mine (Sachin) Were lightened with hope as I had already asked my Mom, teacher and every adult, but No one had answered me.
I said goodbye to my Dad and waited for my dad to come Home again at night
