Yaruichi's POV 🔮

Just when I crouched down and was about to pick up the metal pot, the pot suddenly moved away from me.

"What the - - ?!" I went before trying to pick up the metal pot, for the second time already.

And like it did the last time, the pot moved again before it suddenly took off.

"Get over here!" I said before I started running after the moving pot.

After chasing down the moving pot through out the entire house, I finally cornered it and picked it up.

When I did, Luka and Keiko came out from underneath it, making me give them a surprised look.

Keiko started giggling as Luka began laughing hard.

I smiled and started laughing a bit before I ruffled the girls' hair.

But, just when I was about to pick Luka and Keiko up, I suddenly heard a voice echo in my head:

"A monster is who I am
A monster is who I'll truly be
A monster is the one who I can only see...And a monster is someone who's the demon deep inside me."

After that, the echoed voice suddenly vanished.

"What the hell was that?!" I thought to myself. "That echoey voice sounded like Lukari's."

Then I shrugged it off before I resumed picking Luka and Keiko up and carrying them in my arms.

"C'mon, you cutie little fur balls. Lukari probably wants to see you both." I said as I picked the pot up and headed back to the kitchen.

I setted the pot down on the counter, once I made it to the kitchen, before heading over to the living room.

I noticed Lukari beginning to wake up so I setted Luka and Keiko on her lap before I sat down on the couch that was across the coffee table.

Then I heard the same echoey voice in my head again as Lukari woke up and noticed the girls before she started cuddling them.

Repeating the same lines again...

"A monster is who I am
A monster is who I'll truly be

"That voice again..." I thought to myself after it vanished.

I shook my head a little before resting my gaze back on Lukari again.

"Lukari...Is everything okay?" I asked, still feeling unsure about her.

She might be doing this as an act just to trick me, so Lukari can kill herself.

"Yeah? Why?" Lukari asked.

"Just wondering...." I replied.

Even though, Lukari was telling the truth, I'm gonna keep an eye on her to make sure that doesn't happen.

After a few minutes had passed, Luka and Keiko left and went to play with each other in order to give Lukari a break so she can rest for a bit.

That was my cue to sit next to Lukari.

I sighed as I got up and sat down next to Lukari on the couch.

Lukari looked over at me after I sat next to her.

After Lukari looked away, I wrapped my arms around Lukari before pulling her close and embracing her into a hug.

Lukari's gaze softened a little as she rested her paw on mine.

I rested my head on Lukari's as I closed my eyes and sighed before giving Lukari a kiss on the cheek.

"I love you, Lukari...I really love you so much. You mean a lot to me. I care about you very much that I don't want to lose you." I said as I looked over at Lukari.

"I love you too, sis...You mean a lot to me as well. You're very special to me..." Lukari replied.

I smiled at that before I lifted Lukari's chin up a bit and gazed over at her eyes, lovingly.
