"Harrison, calm down," Neil whispered when he felt the other's grip tighten. "It'll be fine."

"I know, I know..." the magic lover sighed, relaxing some. "I'm just... A little worried..."

The brunet stopped a few feet away from the Starbucks and turned to face him. "If things go bad, that's why you're here. Plus Max is working today, so he's keeping an eye out for us."

The strawberry blond held back a sigh. "Ok. I'm not leaving your side, though." He felt his hand being squeezed. "I know, and I appreciate it."

They walked in together, hearing the bell chime above their heads. Max caught their eye and nodded. He motioned towards a table near the far corner, where Tabii was tapping away on her phone. Neil took a shaky breath and drifted over.

"Hey, Tabii..." he mumbled quietly. Harrison held onto his arm, not planning on letting go anytime soon. The blonde glanced up from her phone and smiled. "Hey Neil!" Her gaze travelled over to the other male. "Harrison... What are you doing here?"

"I'm just tagging along," he answered coldly. They slid into the seat across from her. The physicist cleared his throat awkwardly. "He's my boyfriend."

The girl's expression morphed into one of surprise. "Oh?" She crossed her arms and learned back in her seat. "You two must be very happy together."

"We are," the illusionist said calmly. The three sat in silence for a bit until Neil spoke up.

"So, Tabii, how's senior year going?" He asked carefully. She perked up some. "Pretty well, actually! Nikki made a school record, I'm vice president of drama, and Max acts like he runs the school."

"Tab! Don't give me away!" The black haired boy hissed from behind the counter. This earned a laugh from their table.

"How's college life?" The short teen inquired, resting her chin in her hands. "It must be hard, considering you're younger than most of them..."

He shrugged. "Yeah, it's a little difficult. But nothing I can't handle."

Harrison saw the adoration in her eye and stifled a growl. His hand found its way to his lover's thigh and it stayed there. He heard Neil's breath hitch slightly and felt a hand on top of his.

"So..." The scholar said slowly, trying not to stutter. "Planning on going to any colleges yourself?"

They talked for a while, with more lovestruck stares from Tabii and the magician constantly biting his tongue. Eventually, Preston came in and they learned he was Tabii's ride home.

"It was nice talking to you, Neil," the girl purred. "And you too, Harrison."

They both nodded and the nerd gave her a small smile. "Same to you, Tabii."

She giggled. "See you around!" she cooed as she headed for the exit. The older male watched her go, waiting for the door to close behind her. Once it did, he tugged on his boyfriend's shirt.

"Hm?" He turned around to find himself lip locked with Harrison. His arms found there way around the other's neck.

He pulled the younger onto his lap. "Those lovey-dovey looks were starting to piss me off," he muttered.

Neil laughed softly. "I noticed. But now you have me all to yourself, ok?" He watched the smirk appear on the taller's face and leaned in.

"If you guys are going to make out, don't do it here," Nerris called out as she passed them. They rolled their eyes.

"Fine, Ner," her friend replied, annoyed. He met eyes with his partner. "Let's take this somewhere else then, shall we?"
