"We're here!" Harrison purred, putting the car in park. He glanced over at Neil, who looked tired despite what had happened earlier. "Guess it didn't work. Hopefully this coffee will."

"It better," he said dryly. He pushed open the passenger door and climbed out. His friend followed close behind.

The bell above the door rang, catching some people's attention. Preston saw them first. "Hey! You made it!"

"They're here?" Nerris called out, poking her head around the corner. She noticed them and smirked. "You two a thing now?"

The college students flushed red. "What? No!" Neil coughed out. Harrison snickered and wrapped an arm around the teen's waist. "We can if you want to be..."

He rolled his eyes. "Fuck off, Magic Boy," he growled. Their peers laughed as the strawberry blond moved away. He winked and blew a kiss. "Lemme know when you change your mind."

The brunet pretended to catch the kiss and dropped it in a nearby trashcan. "You'll be waiting for a while, then."

"Can you guys stop flirting for two seconds?" someone muttered. They turned towards the voice. Harrison rolled his eyes. "I could say the same when it comes to Preston, Max."

The indian's cheeks turned red. "Touché." He came around the corner and stood beside his taller         boyfriend. "You two buying anything?"

"No, we took a fifteen, thirty minute drive just to say hello," the scientist said sarcastically. "In other words, no shit."

Max shrugged. "Alright, alright, tone it down a bit." He glanced over at Preston. "One of the others can get you. I'm going home."

The enchanter waved as the couple left the store. "And I thought we were tired." He earned a snicker from his crush as they placed their order.

They slipped into a booth, chatting about whatever topic came up. Of course, there was also lots of merciless teasing and sarcastic comments. For the first time in a while, they were content around each other.

"I'm glad things are normal between us now," Harrison murmured. Neil nodded, taking a sip of his drink. "Yeah... It's kinda nice..." A surprised expression appeared on both of their faces.

"That's a first," his roommate said playfully. The scholar shrugged. "There's a first time for everything..." The two locked eyes and shared a small smile.
